As you may know, especially if you are a long-time fan of Ski Rex Media, the Snowbound Expo was this past weekend down in Boston, MA. This was the second year of the Expo and they outdid themselves and then some with this one. All the brands and ski hills that you would expect to show up were there, not to mention a few that you might not expect. There was also a pretty awesome lineup of speakers on The Inspiration Stage, several of which were on in this podcast. This podcast features eight interviews with speakers, attendees, and exhibitors of the Expo, a couple of which have been on the podcast before. The goal is to give you, the listener, an idea of what to expect and have a little fun doing so. This guest list has quite the cross-section of folks and includes: Caroline Proulx - Québec's Minister of Tourism Danny Hairston - Founder of the Shred Foundation LJ Henriquez - Next Gen Snowboarder from NYC Brenna Huckaby - 3-time Paralympic Gold Medal Snowboarder Rob & Ryan DeLena - Authors of Without Restraint: How Skiing Saved My Son's Life Tom Kindley - GM of the N.E. REPOST WITH REPAIRED FILE Totally new idea this week.  Chris Furnell offered up the idea of a conversation centered entirely on the process of change and making change stick in our organizations.  I jumped at the chance because I've been talking with y'all about change for years.  So we dug in deep on change.  We cover things like: Dealing with constant change.  Leaders wanting to shorten the distance between ideas and results.  Why you can't "tell" someone into changing.  Why it is that old patterns die hard... And, a lot more. I'll be in Seattle from 23-26 January at INTIX. You'll see me at the Cover Genius booth on Wednesday and Thursday recording some live podcasts under the banner: "8 minutes at INTIX".  I'll also be leading a panel on Thursday at the Inspiration Stage at 10:45 AM called "Enhancing the Customer Journey with Embedded Protection". This panel will include Joe from Cover Genius, Jo-Ann from AudienceView, and a special guest! You'll learn about new data that helps understand people's purchase decision. We will also share data around people's perception of the event, pre and post purchase...and more.  Send me an email: Dave@DaveWakeman.com and I will make sure you don't miss us.  Take my pricing survey: https://forms.gle/Dc5FVHB93A9GGx9p9  Lots of interesting data about where folks are struggling with price, who makes the decision, and why the decision is being made poorly.  I'll be sharing that in the weeks ahead.  Get the 'Talking Tickets' newsletter at https://talkingtickets.substack.com Visit my website at www.DaveWakeman.com  Share! Welcome to episode 123 of the Women's Running Podcast. I am your host Esther Newman and she is your other host Holly Taylor. We start today with Bake Off, which might seem like a bit old hat, but we're talking about new things, I promise. Then, obviously, we move on to favourite TV comedies, before eventually settling on Christmas. Because, like it or not, it's Christmas and there is no rest for the wicked. Or the runners.Running QuizWhile we loosely chat about the running we've been doing (which adds up to very little indeed because of various injuries and tattoos, for some reason), we are giddy with excitement about the main event, which is our Great Big Christmas Quiz! We've drawn up a set of Mr & Mrs questions for each other – and get this, some of them include actual references to running! To be clear, neither of us are drinking in this episode, even though it sounds like we have been. Copiously.Running showA quick reminder here that we're going to be at the National Running Show in January in Birmingham at the end of January. Do please come – it would be lovely to see a friendly face or two. We're on stand P20 right in front of the Inspiration Stage, on which I'll be chairing some menopausal chat at 11.30 on the Saturday. I mean advice-drive menopausal chat, rather than just general chat from menopausal women... So that just leaves me to say, have a very happy Christmas, enjoy all the fun and festivities that it brings, and we shall see you on the other side!LinksWin a pair of Brooks Ghost 14 GTX, worth £140 by entering this podcast-only compo! Do join us on Patreon for exclusive newsletters, free monthly Live chats, and Patreon-only episodes!Come along to the National Running Show in January, and say hello! Show notes at: leanmusician.com/podcast In this episode we look at a preview of a talk I'm giving at a music school soon, all based around the composer's writing process. Often the writing process can be overwhelming and confusing, but with a framework or process that we can go through we can get unstuck and back into flow. In this episode we look at the following stages: Stage 1: Research & Inspiration Stage 2: Build a Soundboard Stage 3: Sketch & Generating Material Stage 4: Setup & Plan Stage 5: Writing & Editing In Part 2 we will look at Stage 6: Producing, Arranging or Rehearsing (all big topics!) Stage 7: Getting Feedback Other general points If you enjoy the show, please consider subscribing on Spotify, iTunes or wherever you listen to podcasts and if you're feeling particularly generous you could leave a review, which massively helps the program and the work I do with Lean Musician education. Happy composing!

In this CAPcast interview, Dr. Joseph shares her experience with patients and how it has impacted her practice as a pathologist. She will also share her story on Inspiration Stage at CAP18 in Chicago on Tuesday, Oct. 23, along with Drs. Crystal Moore and Barbarajean Magnani.
