Today's guest is Chris Spangler! Coach Spangler is entering his 20th season of coaching lacrosse where he has had the privilege of coaching youth, high school and collegiate teams throughout Colorado. He has coached 13 collegiate All Americans, 4 high school All Americans and 27 All Conference high school players. He has coached at such top collegiate programs as the University of Denver and the University of Colorado. He has won a state championship as a player (East-Manual '90) and as a coach (Arapahoe '09) and was named RMILL Coach of the Year while at CU in 2000. He is currently an assistant coach at Highlands Ranch High School where he coaches with current Outlaw player and Highlands Ranch Head Coach Matt Bocklet. Coach Spangler has developed a number preseason and in-season conditioning programs that have helped his players play to the best of their abilities. He encourages both general fitness and lacrosse specific training for all of his athletes at every level. He is a CF-L1 Trainer and TRX certified trainer and has developed a number of speed and strength training programs for all levels of lacrosse players. Coach Spangler is the youth Director for DoCo Lacrosse and Langtry Lax Camps. He is the owner of Vigor Performance and continues to coach camps and clinics throughout the year. Coach Spangler graduated from Syracuse University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a focus in Neuroscience. He is native to Colorado and raises his two children in Denver.
