Robert Hale, Donor Rob currently serves on Copley's investment committee and as an entrepreneur in residence assisting the development of Copley's portfolio companies. Rob founded Granite Telecommunications in 2002 and has grown the company into one of the largest privately held telecommunications services companies in the U.S., with revenues exceeding $1.5 billion. Rob is the founder and board chair of Fox Rock Capital, a single-family office based in Boston, founding owner of FoxRock Properties, a commercial real estate firm, and is co-owner of the NBA's Boston Celtics and Boston Cannons of the Premier Lacrosse League. Rob lives in the Boston area with his wife and three children. He serves on the Board of Trustees for Boston Children's Hospital, Brigham & Women's Hospital, the South Shore YMCA, and the Massachusetts Soldiers Legacy Fund. Robert Hale Sr., Rob Jr.'s father, was a patient at Dana-Farber and died in 2008 from pancreatic cancer. Rob and his family are philanthropic leaders in the Boston area. Rob's mother, Judy Hale, is a Dana-Farber Trustee. In November 2023, the Hale Family were awarded the Sidney Farber Medical Research Award in recognition of the Hale Family's outstanding contributions and service to the Insititute for many decades.

Sean Kirwan joined the Dartmouth men's lacrosse program in June of 2023.Kirwan spent the last seven seasons as the offensive coordinator at Virginia, where he helped lead the Cavaliers to national championships in 2019 and 2021, along with three Final Four appearances and a pair of ACC titles. Under Kirwan, the Virginia offense ranked among the top three nationally in goals per game in four different seasons. The 2023 Cavalier attack, which was instrumental in the team's run to the national semifinal, finished as the country's top scoring offense with 17.24 goals per game and set a new program record for total goals in a season (293). Kirwan was named the 2021 IMLCA Assistant Coach of the Year after helping guide Virginia to consecutive national titles.A 2012 Tufts University graduate, Kirwan coached 18 All-Americans during his tenure at Virginia, including recent two-time Tewaaraton Award finalist and three-time first teamer Connor Shellenberger. Another three-time All-American, Matt Moore, broke the program's single-season and career points records under Kirwan's tutelage after transitioning from midfield to attack. Additionally, Kirwan developed consecutive ACC Rookie of the Year honorees in Michael Kraus (2017) and Moore (2018). Prior to his seven-year stint at Virginia, Kirwan spent two seasons running the Brown offense with two Ivy League titles and a Final Four appearance to his credit. During the 2015 season, his first on the Bears' staff, Kirwan helped Brown win 12 games, its highest total since 2009, to set the stage for a program-best 16 victories the following season. His offense was especially potent in 2016 with a nation-leading 16.32 goals per game. Dylan Molloy was honored with the Tewaaraton Award as the top male collegiate lacrosse player in 2016, having led the country with 116 points, and becoming the first in program history to earn the prestigious accolade. Molloy was also named the Ivy League Player of the Year in both 2015 and 2016. Kirwan coached under Lars Tiffany, a two-time ACC Coach of the Year recipient, at both Brown and Virginia. Tiffany earned back-to-back Ivy League Coach of the Year honors in 2015 and 2016 — both seasons with Kirwan on the staff. Kirwan played collegiately and began his coaching career at Division III Tufts, where he helped the Jumbos win their first-ever national championship as part of his record-setting playing career that featured 150 goals — the program's top mark at the time. He joined the coaching staff following his 2012 graduation and spent two seasons leading the team's offense before entering the Division I coaching ranks prior to the 2015 season.The Jumbos won the 2014 national championship with Kirwan serving as the offensive coordinator to complement back-to-back conference titles. The 2014 team amassed 423 goals, which stood as the highest single-season total by any team in history across all NCAA divisions at the time. Kirwan gained additional coaching experience at the professional level, spending multiple seasons implementing offensive schemes for the Boston Cannons and the Cannons Lacrosse Club. In 2021, Kirwan's offense ranked as the second most efficient attack in Premiere Lacrosse League history. It is the 2nd leading cause of cancer death.● Colorectal cancer is on the rise in people younger than 50. By 2030, colon cancerincidence among Americans aged 20-34 years is expected to increase by 90%, withrectal cancer rates expected to increase by a staggering 124%.● Colorectal cancer on track to nearly double and be the leading cause of cancer deathin adults under 50 by 2030.● Colorectal cancer is often a silent disease, developing with no symptoms at all. Whensymptoms do occur, they may include the following:○ Blood in or on the stool ○ Change in bowel habits○ Stools that are narrower than usual○ General stomach discomfort (bloating, fullness, and/or cramps)○ Vomiting● There are now more than 1.5 million survivors of colorectal cancer in the UnitedStates.● The screening age was recently lowered from age 50 to 45 following the rising rate ofthe disease in younger adults.

Kip Turner is in his sixth season at Virginia and his 11th season under Lars Tiffany.Last season, Turner helped guide fourth-seeded Virginia to its seventh NCAA title after a 17-16 triumphant victory over third-seeded Maryland at Rentschler Field (East Hartford, Conn.) on May 31. With no NCAA Tournament held in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), UVA's 2021 title marked the first time in men's lacrosse program history it won back-to-back national championships, having done so in 2019. In 2021, Virginia became just the seventh men's lacrosse program in Division-I history to win back-to-back national championships and the first D-I men's lacrosse program to win six straight games in the NCAA finals (1999, 2003, 2006, 2011, 2019 and 2021).For the fourth consecutive season (excluding 2020 due to COVID-19), Turner conducted a Cavalier unit that was the NCAA Division-I statistical champions in ground balls per game (41.94). Turner also mentored goalie Alex Rode, who one of nine USILA All-American selections for the Cavaliers in 2021. At the 2021 NCAA Tournament, Rode was named an all-tournament selection after recording a tournament-best 53 saves, including a combined 27 saves at championship weekend against North Carolina and Maryland, the nation's top-2 scoring offenses that year. Rode's standout moment of the championship game was when denied the Terrapins of a potential game-tying goal with six seconds remaining left in the fourth quarter.Turner also practiced his trade in the professional ranks, including leading the Chesapeake Bayhawks to two consecutive MLL Championships in 2012 and 2013. Turner was originally selected second overall in the Major League Lacrosse draft by the Boston Cannons, the highest goalie ever picked in a draft. He made an immediate impact, being named the Cannons' Defensive MVP in 2008. A three-time MLL Defensive Player of the Week in 2010, Turner was named the MLL Goalkeeper of the Year for his outstanding play. Turner was also selected the starting goalie in the MLL All-Star game in 2013. After a nine-year stint in the MLL, Turner decided to retire in the spring of 2016.A 2007 graduate of the University of Virginia with a bachelor's degree in government, Turner was a four-year letterwinner for the Cavaliers. He was a USILA Third Team All-American and the UVA defensive MVP in 2006, leading the Cavaliers to the ACC Championship and NCAA title. Turner was a First Team All-ACC selection and USILA All-American Honorable Mention in 2007, and named to the All-ACC Tournament Team in 2006 and 2007.

Bryce attended Monmouth University where he became the first Monmouth player drafted in the MLL by the Denver Outlaws in 2018, he was first team all- conference in college. Bryce now plays for the Boston Cannons where he won the 2020 MLL championship and was named 2020 MVP. Bryce was doubted his whole life, but he never gave up. He kept driving himself to be the best he could be. We were able to talk about his journey as well as his level of commitment which propelled him to where he is today. Bryce is only getting started and has a lot in store for his future, we look forward to seeing what the 2020 MVP can do.

Luke and I chat with the always entertaining Trevor Baptiste, now with PLL Atlas, as their Faceoff Man/Midfielder, we started out with Trevor talking about what's he is doing to stay ready for the PLL, which is set to play a tournament style season in July. We also discussed his path from New Jersey to Denver University, where as a senior in the Big East Tournament Semifinals, at the time, set the NCAA record for faceoff wins, as he told us, he was an under recruited player and going to Denver was big in so many ways for Trevor, as a Freshman, he and his teammates won the NCAA title defeating Maryland. After Denver, Trevor was selected as the #1 overall pick of the Boston Cannons of the MLL, where he played part of his rookie season with the Cannons. We also discussed his move to the PLL last season, how his game is evolving as player on the field, some of the things he does off the field, fun stuff here, and playing for Team USA, plus his relationship with faceoff great, Greg Gurenlian, and so much more!!!

He's the Co-Founder/Coach at The Faceoff Academy. 2014 he coached Westfield High School (NJ) to Group IV State Championship. Played for Rutgers 4 years Won over 63.5% of the draws he took while at Rutgers.. At this point, Trevor needs no introduction. Anyone who's a lacrosse fan knows who he is. He's a graduate of Denver University. A four-time All-American at the Face-off X. The big east mid-fielder of the year as a sophomore. He was a two time tewaraarton trophy finalist. He currently plays in the MLL for the Boston Cannons, and is competing in July for team USA in Israel. I've never met Trevor in person but his passion for the sport come across when you talk to him.
