In a culture that demands everything instantly, waiting can feel unbearable—whether it's waiting in line, waiting for answers, or waiting for God to move. This week, we explore the story of Simeon and Anna in Luke 2, two people who waited faithfully for years, trusting in God's promises. What does it mean to hope while we wait? How do we anchor ourselves in God's faithfulness instead of fear or frustration? Join us as we unpack the power of waiting in hope and the ways it transforms our hearts this Christmas season.
How do we navigate seasons of hopelessness? What leads us from despair back to hope? This week, we'll journey with the writer of Lamentations as he cries out to God in a season of deep despair. Even in the darkest shadows, the light of hope begins to dawn.
In this second sermon of our series in the book of Colossians, we dive into verses 1:15-23, showing that Jesus is far more than just a historical figure who did good things—He is the Creator and Sustainer of everything in existence. What does it mean that Jesus is called the "firstborn over all creation"? How does His death bring reconciliation, even to those who feel distant or disconnected from God? Tune in as we explore these truths about Jesus and the peace He offers to everyone.
How do we walk in a way that pleases God? Are we left guessing at how to do this? Of course not! Colossians 1 gives us a clear direction: be full of good works, grow in your knowledge of God, rely on His strength, and live with joyful gratitude.
What am I doing with my life? If Jesus returned today, what would He have to say to me? Am I building my own kingdom or God's kingdom? These are just a few of the questions we explored as we looked at the parable of the faithful and wise manager. "From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked."

Nearly two thousand years ago, a match was struck in Palestine that would eventually ignite the whole world. Soon after Jesus' ascension into heaven, the Holy Spirit descended at Jerusalem, and about three thousand people became followers of Jesus Christ. This marked the birth of the Christian church. The book of Acts chronicles the birth and expansion of the church, highlighting the deeds of some of its most influential leaders, such as Peter and Paul.

There is an art to living a life under Biblical truth and learning to sit in the dust. Jesus gives as a model for both.
