In Part Three of the Fully Devoted series, Pastor Jay Tyler explores what it means to be a praying church by looking at the powerful example of the early church in Acts 4. When faced with real opposition, the believers did not retreat, complain, or pray for comfort, they prayed together for boldness, and God responded with His presence and power. This message highlights how corporate prayer unites the body, invites the Holy Spirit to move, and fuels courageous witness in a broken world. A praying church is not a timid church, it is a unified, Spirit-filled church devoted to Jesus and ready to respond to His call.
Serving isn't about volunteering our leftover time — it's about living with the mindset of a servant. In this message, we're reminded that everything we have belongs to God, and a fully devoted life puts the needs of others above comfort, recognition, and convenience. Watch and lean into what it really means to follow Jesus through humble, joyful service.
Drawing from Jesus' parable of the persistent widow in Luke 18:1–8, this message reminds us that prayer is not about wearing God down or convincing Him to care, it's about staying close to Him and refusing to lose heart. We learn that delay is not denial, that the enemy often works to discourage us just before breakthrough, and that true faith keeps praying even when nothing seems to be changing. Through biblical insight, practical application, and heartfelt encouragement, this message calls believers to pick up prayers they may have laid down and to trust God's character while waiting on His timing.
Worship is more than singing, it is giving God our full attention with our mind, will, and emotions. This message invites us to place Jesus back on the throne of our hearts and live a life of worship every day. Watch, subscribe, and comment.
Fresh Faith is an invitation to renew our spiritual lives and deepen our walk with God. In this series, we'll explore how prayer and fasting realign our hearts with God's will, how worship re-centers our lives around His presence, and how community strengthens and sustains our faith. Together, we'll discover how God brings fresh faith to weary souls and calls us into a vibrant, growing relationship with Him.
Being fully devoted to God means building our lives on the truth of His Word and letting it shape what we believe and how we live. This message challenges us to read it, receive it, obey it, and use it as our daily standard for truth and direction. Watch, subscribe, and comment.
This message kicks off the year by calling us to put God first through prayer and fasting and to realign our hearts with Him. It reminds us that what we do in the physical impacts the spiritual and invites us to seek God with focus and expectation. Watch, subscribe, and comment.

In this sermon, Pastor Beau Hollis shared from Acts 4:13, we see how God used ordinary, uneducated men to change the world — not because of who they were, but because they had been with Jesus. Paul reminds us in Colossians 2 that in baptism we're buried with Christ and raised to new life. That's what gives us real power to live differently. We also looked at how the church was birthed in Acts 1–2, when the Holy Spirit showed up and the gospel began to spread like wildfire. It wasn't about talent, education, or status — it was about Jesus and the Spirit of God moving through willing hearts. If you've ever felt too ordinary or unqualified, I think this message will encourage you. God does His best work through people who simply say “yes” to Him. In Week 3 of our Fully Devoted series, we unpack what it really means to lay our lives down at the altar. Being fully devoted to Jesus isn't just about public worship — it's about private surrender, sacrificial obedience, and doing the will of the Father even when no one's watching. This message challenges us to ask: If God asked for my most valuable possession, my future, or even my life — would I be willing to lay it down? True devotion is more than words — it's obedience in action. Follow us on Instagram @lyahampton & join us every Tuesday in the LSM building at 7 p.m.!
In this powerful message, Pastor Anthony Daley shares a raw and redemptive testimony of salvation, transformation, and calling. Drawing from Acts 2:37 and themes from his new book Fully Devoted: Following Jesus One Step at a Time, Pastor Daley challenges believers to move beyond the sinner's prayer and embrace the full journey of faith. This episode explores: The steps after salvation: repentance, baptism, and receiving the Holy Spirit How personal transformation leads to Kingdom impact The urgency of obedience and surrender A compelling rescue analogy that mirrors the Gospel Whether you're just starting your walk with Christ or you're ready to go deeper, this message is a timely reminder: salvation is the beginning, not the finish line.
This week at LYA, we started our new series, Fully Devoted. We dove into what it truly means to follow Jesus with your whole life—loving Him above all else, surrendering completely, and counting the cost. Being His disciple isn't about convenience, but about radical commitment to the One who is worth everything. Join us every Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the LSM Building & follow us on Instagram for more updates @lyahampton.

Caleb refused to be satisfied with half-hearted devotion or be lulled into complacency. At its heart, complacency is a willingness to be satisfied with how things are, but not how things should be. It affects people of every age and generation. Like rivers, people flow toward the path of least resistance. But not Caleb.Sermon Outline:I. The Fully Satisfied are Fully Devoted to God's Cause.II. The Fully Satisfied are Fully Devoted to God's Word.III. The Fully Satisfied are Fully Devoted to God's Glory.Sermon Discussion Questions:1. What competing causes or priorities sometimes pull you away from being fully devoted to God's cause? How have you experienced the tension between living for yourself and living for God?2. Caleb waited 45 years for God's promise to be fulfilled and never gave up. Share about a time when you've had to wait on God's promises. How did that season affect your faith? What helps you continue trusting when God's timing doesn't match your expectations?3. What fears, sins, challenges, or obstacles are you currently facing or avoiding? What would it look like for you to have Caleb's mindset about the challenges in your life?4. What would full devotion to God look like practically in your current season of life? What specific step of obedience or trust is God calling you to take this week?

We’re in a series about what it means to be Fully Devoted to God … which Jesus talks about in Mark chapter 6. There are many habits we already know of that promise positive results. Creating a habit of healthy eating, working out, and even just staying off our phones before we go to bed … we intuitively know that all of these guarantee good results. But the “power” habits Mark will be talking about today are backed by more than just statistics … they actually come with promises from God. God is moving in the earth in new, exciting ways, and we don't want to just be observers. We want to participate in His Kingdom! In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses the current state of the Church in the nation, and the importance of developing our faith to be more fully devoted followers of Jesus. He teaches from the life of Apostle Peter to demonstrate the disruption and change Christ-followers will experience as we mature in our relationship with the Lord. Pastor Allen also speaks about World Outreach Church's own mission in our community and beyond. Godliness and wickedness are both increasing in our culture, but let's decide each day to fulfill what God has planned for us.
