Beautifully Wounded is a continuation from the blog beautifullywounded.co. Growing up, I’ve faced many battles; from teen pregnancy, divorce, mental health issues, as well as childhood trauma. Being a Christ follower has taught me that no matter what comes my way, I can rise above anything that life attempts to use to tear me down. Journeying through womanhood, I’m learning to define my wounds and not allow them to define me. My hope is through this platform, women alike will find the strength and courage to do the same. Your wounds are beautiful sis, so let’s walk through them with grace.
Oh how I missed you guys. One of the things that I am learning as I grow, is that there is a level of freedom that comes with walking in your truth and deciding to answer God when He is consistently knocking on your heart. Join me today as I share with you all where I've been, open up about my current mental status and surrender to who it is that God is calling me to be in this season. I pray that this episode blesses you and gives you the courage to walk in your truth as well. Enjoy the show!

Happy Monday Lovely's! Today's episode is brought to you by my walks with God. One of the things that has helped me to walk I who it is that God says I am, continue to heal and just to grow as a whole is the time that I spend with God on our daily walks. He is such a good father and truly wants to spend time with us on a daily basis but we have to become intentional about the time we set aside for him. I love my walks with God because he always speaks to my heart when we take them. This morning he reminded me of Genesis 3 this morning and how he walked with Adam and Eve in the cool of the day and although they tried to hide themselves from him due to being exposed to sin it still didn't stop him from wanting to walk with them! Besides it was their routine! Join me today as we discuss going on walks with God. I pray that it encourages you to incorporate it into your weekly routine. Enjoy the show! Don't forget to connect with me on my platforms. I would love to hear from you guys! IG: @iamjazminzaterra @beautifullywoundedpodcast FB: Jazmin Zaterra
Happy Monday y'all! Today we continue our conversation on learning to trust. I pray that it speaks to your heart and gives you the courage to take the next step on your journey. Enjoy the show!
Happy Monday beautiful people! So, can we talk today? God has really really really been working on me and although I have my moments when I wish he would just slow down and take a break I am so thankful that He is not taking his foot off of the gas when it comes to what he desires to do in my life and who he is ultimately making me to be. One of the things that God began to deal with me about is how I have to learn to trust. He started to show me that when you have experienced disappointment and when trust has been broken it is honestly something that has to be relearned otherwise we will navigate through life sabotaging opportunities and relationships that were sent by God due to our inability to learn to trust again. Join me today as we began to navigate through this episode! I pray that it blesses you the same way it has blessed me!
Happy Monday y'all! Listen, I love it when the Holy Spirit comes through and takes over an episode. One of the things that God has been having me focus on is getting my house in order. He's been dealing with me about getting my home in complete order so that I can make more space for him to dwell, speak to me and over all allow them flow of my home to go a lot smoother. Being a mother of 5, God has shown me that my life runs a lot smoother when I have certain systems in place. I love the God we serve, He shows me that He is not only concerned about the big things in our lives but also the little things that if we learn to listen to him about and attack them it allows us to walk in what he has for us fully and completely. Join me on today's episode as we discuss what I'm doing to create this atmosphere and some small but big changes that may be able to help you as well as we prepare to navigate through this next season. Enjoy the show! If you have you haven't already be sure to connect with me on my social media platforms: @iamjazminzaterra and @beautifullywoundedpodcast on Instagram and Jazmin Zaterra on Facebook. Today's episode is a story time. You guys WON'T BELIEVE what happened to me last week. Join me today as we navigate through today's episode.
Hey beauties! On today's episode we are going to navigate through trusting God's timing and not our own. A lot of times we try to speed up the process of what God wants to do in our lives by going in a different direction other than the one He has for us. I've done this for years and I've discovered by doing so, this only prolongs Him from being able to deliver to me all that He desires me to have and keeps me even further from waking in who He has called me to be. So my question for you today is who's timing will you trust? Yours or God's? Join me on today's episode as we navigate through this conversation.
Y'all God had His way on this episode. This episode was supposed to be about something completely different! Not my will though but God's! I pray that this episode speaks to your heart as much as it did to mine. Enjoy the show!
Hey everyone! Happy Monday! On today's episode we will be talking about upgrading your life, God's Way. As God continues to transition my life one of the things that he is teaching me to be content in is waiting. Hey y'all hey! On today's episode we will be discussing finances and the decisions that we make when it comes to our money. I will be sharing with you all some of the lessons I have learned when it comes to handling money properly and how I realized that a lot of the decisions that I made in the past regarding my finances in the past have been emotionally driven in order to make me feel better about me. One of the things that I shared is how utilizing a budget system as well as a budget book and envelope system has helped me to be more rooted in time having proper money management. The budget book that I am currently using can be found at the link provided. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Pen-Gear-Budget-Planner-80-Pages/237368581. On today's episode I will be sharing with you all about the birth of my daughter Jenesis. Giving birth to her in my home, with God as my midwife the entire way through was the breaking point for what catapulted me into my healing. During this time I discovered how strong I was. A lot of times we allow our fears, hurt, shame and trauma to keep us stuck in seasons longer than God intended for us to be in them. I hope this episode helps you to find courage and strength. God has been reminding me daily that everything that I need lives inside of me. I just have to be brave enough to tap into it. Haven't tapped in yet?
