This is an all time international cast that includes Tilda Swinton, Jamie Bell, John Hurt, Ed Harris, Ko Asung, Kang-Ho Sung( which was amazing in the The Host done by the same director) If you have not seen this movie please do yourself a favor and do so. Upcoming Movies are: Godfather 2 & New Years Eve Please do yourself a favor and watch this movie Twitter.com/bestfilmfriends Instagram.com/bestfilmfriends Facebook.com/Best-film-friends-676216042745739 If you enjoy our podcast make sure to like, subscribe, share, all that jazz, so more people can discover the show.
Neither of the BFF"s had seen "When Harry Met Sally" they were very nervous about the movie not holding up, a lot of movies do that now a days, but guess what it does hold up, and it is freaking awesome. The main characters are funny, charming, and their chemistry on screen is extremely fun to watch. It seems pointless to tell the story of such an old movie, but here we go the story spans twenty years of their titular characters, how they meet, their friendship, and at the end their eventual romance. We have all seen this movie in some way or another, the difference are the actors, the precise and insightful dialogue of Nora Ephron, and the capable directing of Mr. Rob Reiner. Please do yourself a favor and watch this movie Twitter.com/bestfilmfriends Instagram.com/bestfilmfriends Facebook.com/Best-film-friends-676216042745739 If you enjoy our podcast make sure to like, subscribe, share, all that jazz, so more people can discover the show.
The BFF’s are 4 for 4 on keeping up with the schedule as promised. This week the BFF's are talking about Joel Schumacher's "Batman Forever" & "Batman & Robin" Sebastian has a soft spot for "Batman Forever" but is the movie any good or any fun? There is a lot to like about this movies first of all the casting Val Kilmer, Drew Barrymore, Tommy Lee Jones, Jim Carrey, Nicole Kidman, Uma Thurman, George Clooney, Arnold Schwarzenegger, this is 90's casting done right. The action is also much better, making Batman and Robin faster, and more acrobatic. Next weeks month theme is New Year's so the BFF's are talking about The Godfather 2, Snow piercer, When Harry Met Sally, and New Years Eve. The BFF’s are 3 for 3 on keeping up with the schedule as promised. This week we are talking about Tim Burton's "Batman" This was an incredibly weird interpretation of Batman, while there are some parts that Burton nails it like the set design, the score, and the highly stylized Gotham city, there are other things that are incredibly strange like the main actor Michael Keaton, ultimately his Bruce Wayne is a very different, but incredibly cool interoperation while his Batman leaves a lot to be desired. Never the less this is still a movie worth watching, specially Batman Returns because Returns, still to this day holds up thanks to the incredible make up and performance of "Sir Daniel DeVito" and Michelle Pfeiffer's iconic interpretation of Selina Kyle. The BFF’s are back and we are keeping up with the schedule as promised. This week we are talking about "The Dark Knight" Trilogy, and next week we are talking about Tim Burton's "Batman" Like I have mentioned before it is officially Batman month, so we were obliged to talk about the best Batman (in my opinion) movies ever made. This was the first time that we had ever seen a superhero being treated so realistically, and so very, very serious. These movies changed the super hero landscape, and its effects are still being felt today. I hope you enjoy the episode as much as we enjoyed recording it. I hope you are all doing well, and See you at the movies! The BFF’s are back and this time for good, we have officially changed the format of the show, which will let us record in bulk, and be better at keeping up with a set schedule. It is officially April, which means it is officially Batman month, and because of that we are going to be talking about the major iterations of live action Batman starting with the first live action iteration, we are off course talking about the seminal campy film of 1966s Batman. This film is incredible, not only was it the first live action movie, but it is an absolute bunkers movie that is a ton of fun. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as we did recording. What can we say about Star Wars that hasn't already been said, I mean our freaking logo is a Star Wars rip off. We love this franchise with all of our heart, and confession time, I have never wished I was older than I am, or be to be born in a different era, but I legitimately wish I was a kid in 1977 seeing that first trilogy of movies would have been even more life changing, than what Star Wars is to me, and my BFF Olivia. Join me and Olivia as we rank all of the movies, spin offs and all. We also do a mini Solo: A Star Wars Story review.
