ABOUT AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR The Avengers and their allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR April 27, 2018 | Theatrical Release CAST & CREW OF AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Directors: Anthony Russo, Joe Russo Writers: Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely, Stan Lee Cast: Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man Chris Hemsworth as Thor Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow Don Cheadle as James Rhodes/War Machine Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa/Black Panther Zoe Saldaña as Gamora Karen Gillan as Nebula Tom Hiddleston as Loki Paul Bettany as Vision Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Falcon Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS So, they get right to it. Bad boy Thanos gets an infinity stone, the Power Stone. His play is to get all six Infinity Stones and wipe out half of all life in the universe. His first stop is the ship carrying the surviving people of Asgard. Thanos easily overwhelms the remaining Asgardians, beats up Hulk, and steals the Space Stone from Loki's Tesseract. He then kills Loki. Thanos then destroys the ship and continues his hunt. Edris Elba helps make sure that Hulk returns to earth, where he crashes through the New York Sanctum. Back as Bruce, He warns Doctor Stephen Strange and Wong that Thanos is coming. Tony Stark joins the conversation. Before he can call Steve Rogers to get the band back together, they attack the city to claim the Time Stone from Strange. Spider-Man is pulled into the chaos, and after they captures Strange aboard his spaceship, Stark and Peter Parker secretly hitch a ride into space to rescue him while Wong remains behind to defend the Sanctum. Meanwhile, the Guardians of the Galaxy answer a distress signal and save Thor floating in space. They agree they need to work together to stop Thanos. But they're too late. Thanos already possesses the Reality Stone and uses its power to manipulate everything around them. He captures Gamora after learning she knows the location of the Soul Stone. Desperate to save her adopted sister Nebula from torture, Gamora tells him where the stone is . When they get there, the keeper of the Soul Stone, one Red Skull, reveals the price required to obtain it: the sacrifice of someone truly loved. In one of the film's most tragic moments, Thanos throws Gamora to her death, earning the Soul Stone. Vision and Wanda are ambushed in Scotland by Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive, who attempt to rip the Mind Stone from Vision's forehead. Captain America, Black Widow, and Falcon arrive just in time to save them, bringing the wounded Vision back to the Avengers Compound. Vision urges Wanda to destroy the Mind Stone and kill him if necessary to stop Thanos, but she cannot bring herself to do it. Instead, the team heads to Wakanda, believing Shuri may be able to safely remove the stone without sacrificing Vision's life. Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange end up on Titan and come face to face with Star-Lord, Drax, and Mantis and they realize they're in the same team. Using the Time Stone, Strange studies millions of possible futures and discovers only one path where they succeed. Together they execute an elaborate plan to restrain Thanos and remove the Infinity Gauntlet. For a moment, it almost works—until Nebula reveals that Gamora is dead. Overcome with grief and rage, Star-Lord attacks Thanos, ruining the team's hold on him. Thanos breaks free, defeats everyone, and nearly kills Iron Man. To save Tony's life, Doctor Strange willingly surrenders the Time Stone, despite knowing how dangerous it is. In Wakanda, the Avengers prepare for an all-out invasion from Thanos's army. Bruce Banner, unable to transform into Hulk, enters battle wearing the Hulkbuster armor. The tide finally turns when Thor arrives in spectacular fashion alongside Rocket and Groot, tearing through Thanos's army with his fresh new hammer/ax combo, Stormbreaker. Despite their efforts, Thanos himself eventually reaches Vision. Wanda heartbreakingly destroys the Mind Stone—and Vision with it—just before Thanos can claim it. But using the Time Stone, Thanos reverses time, restores Vision briefly to life, and violently tears the stone from his forehead, killing him again. With all six Infinity Stones finally united, the Infinity Gauntlet is complete. Thor attacks and buries Stormbreaker deep into Thanos's chest, but Thanos coldly tells him he “should have gone for the head.” He snaps his fingers and vanishes. Across the universe, half of all life immediately turns to dust. Bucky Barnes, Black Panther, Groot, Scarlet Witch, Falcon, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, Star-Lord, Drax, and Mantis all fade away. On Earth, Nick Fury manages to send a desperate signal from a mysterious pager moments before he too disappears. The survivors are left shattered and defeated. Tony Stark and Nebula are stranded on Titan. The remaining Avengers stand in stunned silence in Wakanda. And somewhere far away, Thanos sits alone on a quiet planet, watching the sunrise over a universe he believes he has finally “saved.” Watch the show on Youtube - www.deckthehallmark.com/youtubeInterested in advertising on the show? The crew goes live and pivots from a "chill" private influencer party to the pure endurance test of a nine-and-a-half-hour tabletop tournament. Between Jeff navigating the "hostile" world of AI-generated set design and Coral's high-stakes "betrayal" on a Disney drop ride, this episode finds the humor in the chaos of a busy Los Angeles weekend. It's a mix of big wins, marathon gaming, and a crash course in why you should never trust your "bestie best" at a theme park. This Week's Insanity:Shawarma & Spectacle: The team recaps a private influencer event featuring hookahs, "sick rips," and Coral's first encounter with shawarma. The Lorcana Marathon: A tournament that lasted nearly ten hours in the warehouse, soundtracked by ragtime piano covers of Disney songs. FCBD Exclusive Tea: Jeff drops major news for Free Comic Book Day, announcing two exclusive Revenge Of covers: The Name She Lost: Inanna and Dungeon Crawler Carl. Production Stories: Jeff relives the "nightmare" of reality TV design, explaining how he turned an industry snub into a win by selling a prop, saved from destruction, back to a production company.Disney Day: Coral recounts her trip to California Adventure where she was "manipulated" into riding the Guardians of the Galaxy drop ride, resulting in genuine terror and "legs dangling in front of her head". Gay News: Celebrating Lesbian Visibility Week and tackling the "tough week" of breakups from Love on the Spectrum and pro soccer. Coral's Corner: A deep dive into Margot's Got Money Troubles, Michelle Pfeiffer's performance, and Nick Offerman's transformation into a "beef daddy". Loose, energetic, and slightly more professional than usual—this episode is a love letter to the endurance of the community and the ridiculousness of the entertainment industry.New episodes every week.Only at Revenge Of — where the shawarma is regional and the Plinko boards are a work in progress.
It's Marvel Monday and the Guardians are back for more cosmic adventures! ABOUT GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY: VOL. 2 The Guardians struggle to keep together as a team while dealing with their personal family issues, notably Star-Lord's encounter with his father, the ambitious celestial being Ego. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY: VOL. 2 May 5, 2017 | Theatrical Release CAST & CREW OF GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY: VOL. 2 Director: James Gunn Writers: James Gunn, Dan Abnett, Andy Lanning Cast: Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/Star-Lord Zoe Saldaña as Gamora Dave Bautista as Drax Vin Diesel as Baby Groot (voice) Bradley Cooper as Rocket (voice) Michael Rooker as Yondu Karen Gillan as Nebula Pom Klementieff as Mantis Sylvester Stallone as Stakar Ogord Kurt Russell as Ego BRAN'S GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY: VOL. 2 SYNOPSIS It's Missouri in 1980. Peter's father Ego visited Earth and fell in love with Peter's mother and they wanna get married! Fast forward to the present and the gang's all here. Peter Quill, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and literal toddler Baby Groot. The GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY! They take a job from gold lady Ayesha to protect some batteries from a space squid monster, which they do, in exchange for Gamora's sister. But then Rocket immediately steals those same batteries because of course he does. CLASSIC Rocket. This leads to an all-out attack, a crash landing into a ship planet thing that just kind of appears, and the arrival of a mysterious shirtless dad: Ego. Surprise! He's Quill's father. Ego invites Quill, Gamora, and Drax to his planet, while Rocket and Groot stay behind with Nebula to keep an eye on her. Peter and Ego hash things out. He explains why he wasn't around but says he wants to be the father he always hoped to be now. Meanwhile, blue whistle boy Yondu is hired to track them down. Things go sideways FAST when Yondu refuses not to give up Quill location. He ends up being imprisoned with Rocket and Groot, but they escape with some wild arrow work. Back on Planet Daddy Issues, Ego reveals he's basically a god who's been planting himself all over the universe (red flag), having kids everywhere (bigger red flag), and murdering them when they don't have powers (biggest red flag). Oh, and he casually admits he gave Quill's mom a brain tumor. Cool cool cool. Quill snaps, the team reunites, and it becomes a full-on “let's destroy dad” situation. They head to Ego's literal brain at the planet's core, plant a bomb. The bomb goes off, Ego is toast, and Quill loses his powers in the process. But the emotional gut punch? Yondu sacrifices himself to save Quill, proving he was his real dad all along. we cry. You cry. Everyone cries. the Ravagers show up to give Yondu the send-off he deserved all along. Send us Fan MailA great Disney ride song does not just play in the background, it grabs your brain and refuses to leave. We're sipping a Ginger Pear Snap inspired by Liberty Tree Tavern and doing something we've wanted to do for a while: ranking our favorite Disney ride music from worst to first, with plenty of friendly arguing along the way.We get into what makes theme park music powerful, whether you rank tracks by how “iconic” they are or by how they feel when you're actually on the attraction. That takes us through everything from queue and exit music to full ride soundtracks and medleys. We talk Figment and One Little Spark, the pull of Pirates of the Caribbean, why Grim Grinning Ghosts can be top tier even if Haunted Mansion is not your personal must do, and how modern Disney music like Nothing Can Stop Us Now already feels like a classic earworm. We also hit Guardians of the Galaxy from both angles, since a rotating playlist means the ride is the experience and the song at the same time. You'll hear why “I Want You Back” on Mission Breakout works so well, why “Disco Inferno” on Cosmic Rewind is a perfect synced moment, and how nostalgia heavy staples like Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow and the Enchanted Tiki Room keep earning replay after replay. When we wrap, we share a few listener favorites and ask for more because everyone's list tells a different Disney story.Subscribe for more Disney parks talk, share this with a friend who always hums ride songs, and leave us a review. Travelin' Tiaras Tip If you're thinking about planning your next Disney vacation… Let Margita and Auntie Judy help you plan a trip that fits your style — whether that's go-go-go… or slow and relaxed like Kevin's approach. TravelinTiaras@gmail.com Featuring in This Episode (Part 2) One of the BEST Values at Disney? Kevin makes a bold claim in this episode: The Epcot fireworks cruise might be one of the best values at Walt Disney World Relaxed, seated viewing of fireworks Drinks and snacks with friends No crowds, no stress A completely different way to experience the show And honestly… it's hard to argue with him. Smart Strategies That Save Time (and Stress) This episode is full of practical tips like: Using Beach Club as an exit strategy after Epcot fireworks Heading to Disney Springs instead of fighting park crowds Thinking differently about transportation and flow These are the kinds of insights you only get from experienced Disney travelers. Rope Drop Reality (Even on a 3-Week Trip ) Even with 21 days… things don't always go as planned: Seven Dwarfs Mine Train down on Day 1 Pivoting to other rides with long waits Starting the trip with… It's a Small World And honestly—that's part of the fun. Ride Highlights & Strategy Kevin shares how he approaches rides on a longer trip: Guardians of the Galaxy with a smart early entry strategy Riding Expedition Everest multiple times, including at night Prioritizing rides early… then relaxing later A great reminder: you don't need to rush if you plan smart Slowing Down & Enjoying the Experience One of the biggest themes of this episode: Disney doesn't have to feel rushed Kevin and Deborah: Took time for long walks around resorts and nature areas Explored places like Fort Wilderness and Saratoga Springs Even used tools like a bird-identifying app to enjoy the environment This is Disney at a completely different pace — and it works. Community Moments That Make the Trip Just like Part 1… The best moments weren't rides. They were people. Time with friends across the parks The Geek meet cruise experience Random conversations and shared laughs That's what sticks with you The Biggest Surprise? Even with smart planning… The cost still adds up Kevin shares how surprising the total spend was — even without Lightning Lanes or tons of sit-down meals. A great reminder that Disney trips today require intentional planning and strategy. Shout-Out & Wrap-Up Kevin — This was such a fun two-part conversation. "TAKE MY HAND..." 2014 was a pretty big year for comic book movies. The Winter Soldier got the MCU back on track, Days of Future Past was an awesome movie written and directed by nobody, and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 certainly had a lot of money spent on it! What seemed up in the air at the time was the the tale of Peter Quill and his band of misfits, considered to be MCU's biggest gamble and first potential failure at the time. Little did we all know it'd become one of its biggest hits that would cement the franchise's inability to fail forever (or at least until after Endgame). So all these years later, what do we think of it? Come join Brian, Alec, Darby, and Trey to find out as they continue Phase 2 of the MCUathon with James Gunn's GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY!

It's Marvel Monday and we're blasting off into space! ABOUT GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY A group of intergalactic criminals must pull together to stop a fanatical warrior with plans to purge the universe. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY August 1, 2014 | Theatrical Release CAST & CREW OF GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Director: James Gunn Writers: James Gunn, Nicole Perlman, Dan Abnett Cast: Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/Star-Lord Vin Diesel as Groot (voice) Bradley Cooper as Rocket (voice) Zoe Saldaña as Gamora Dave Bautista as Drax BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS It's 1988 and young Peter Quill is having a tough go of it but at least he has his music. His mom is sick and she ends up passing away. He's real sad and runs out of the hospital into a foggy field. Unfortunately for him, the hits keep coming and he's abducted by an alien ship. 26 years later, we're on the planet of Morag. We see a dude with a mask of glowing red eyes walking around. He uses this device to see what used to be on the planet. He takes his mask off and we see it's Peter all grown up, still a big fan of music. He tries to steal this orb thing but is taken by guys. Ultimately, he's able to escape, orb in hand. Yondu, the guy who abducted Peter way back when, finds out that Peter stole the orb and puts a bounty out for him. Bad guy Ronan also finds out the orb was taken and sends an assassin named Gamora after him. But that's not allllll - bounty hunters Rocket (a raccoon) and Groot (a tree) see him and decide to go after him when they find out how much his bounty is worth. Peter tries to sell the orb but it doesn't work. Gamora is waiting for him as he walks out and takes the orb. A fight breaks out which is a good time for Rocket and Groot to jump in on the fight. They all end up getting arrested. While in prison, they meet a guy named Drax who is known for killing associates of Ronan, so he's got his sights on Gamora. Peter stops him from killing her by hatching an idea - let her take you to Ronan to kill him. Gamora explains that she's actually betrayed Ronan and intended to sell the orb. Together, they're able to escape. We then see Ronan talking to Gamora's dad, Thanos, about her betrayal. He sends his other daughter (who he loves less), Nebula, to go get her back. So they take the orb to a dude who can open it. Turns out, inside is the Infinity Stone. So that's not great. Nebula shows up and destroys Gamora's ship while Ronan's fighters capture the Orb. Peter sees Gamora out there floating in space about to die. So he goes out there and gives her his helmet so that he can pull her back into his ship. So, Peter & Co. know that facing Ronan will not turn out well but that they cannot let him use the Infinity Stone. So they need to hatch a plan. Speaking of which, Ronan puts the Stone in his warhammer, taking its power for himself. Nebula, hating her dad, agrees to team up with him. So the squad decides to team up with Yondu and co. to stop Ronan. Ronan pulls up and just starts absolutely wrecking their fleet like it's nothing. Inside the ship, Drax gets his revenge moment, Gamora and Nebula have their sister fight, and everyone quickly realizes… oh no, we are in over our heads. Peter decides the best way to stop him is… a dance-off distraction which gives Drax and Rocket just enough time to destroy Ronan's hammer. Peter grabs the Infinity Stone, which should absolutely kill him—but plot twist! His friends grab onto him, they all share the power of friendship, and together they vaporize Ronan. The group officially becomes the Guardians of the Galaxy, their records get wiped clean, and Quill learns he's only half human which is why the Infinity Stone didn't kill him. Finally, Peter opens the last gift from his mom: a new mixtape. Watch the show on Youtube - www.deckthehallmark.com/youtubeInterested in advertising on the show? It's the fourth and final chapter of the Orlando Quadrilogy, and Mike and EB close out the trip the way nobody expected — with a surprise day at Epcot and Magic Kingdom, courtesy of friends of the show. Guardians of the Galaxy finally gets crossed off the list. Mission Space straps everyone into a centrifuge and dares them to lift their arms against the G-forces. The Geo 82 Lounge at the top of Spaceship Earth turns out to be one of the best surprises of the entire trip. Space 220 shoots everyone 220 miles above the Earth for lunch. And then it's off to Magic Kingdom, where Tron delivers everything the outside queue promises it won't and Space Mountain delivers everything it shouldn't. Oh, and somewhere in the middle of all of this, Mike gets mixed up in a REALLY WEIRD situation in the single rider line at Test Track. Also this week: Sesame Workshop is suing SeaWorld's parent company for unpaid royalties and brand damage — a lawsuit that could end a 45-year partnership. Six Flags Over Georgia posted possibly the strangest ride closure sign in theme park history. Bluey is taking over the world, one rollercoaster and one animal kingdom at a time. And the Raging Cajun Wild Mouse was spotted on a truck heading up Route 295 toward New Jersey. Called it.

Update on our week: This week on Freeform Radio, the guys cover everything from video games and movies to Olympic glory, global tensions, and one of rock's most controversial deaths. Noel kicks things off in the gaming world after finally finishing Guardians of the Galaxy. He breaks down the cinematic gameplay, team-based combat system, and the surprisingly fun “huddle” mechanic that pumps up your squad mid-battle. While the game impressed visually and delivered a fun story, a few frustrating glitches kept it from reaching elite status. Noel also revisits a legendary franchise with Mega Man 11, playing it on the Steam Deck and sharing how the classic formula has evolved with new gear mechanics and modern visuals—while still holding onto that old-school challenge. Daniel shifts the conversation to entertainment and reviews the time-travel thriller 11/22/63, based on a Stephen King novel. The story follows a man who discovers a portal to 1960 and attempts to prevent the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. The concept is gripping, the journey is intense—but did the ending live up to the hype? Daniel shares his thoughts. He also dives into the remake of Silent Hill 2, explaining how the updated horror classic captures the psychological tension of the original while bringing it into the modern gaming era. The discussion continues with the new Running Man movie and whether it holds up compared to the iconic Arnold Schwarzenegger classic. Andy brings the sports energy, breaking down a massive moment from the Winter Olympics as Team USA defeats Canada to win the gold medal in men's hockey—a victory decades in the making. The guys talk about the intensity of the rivalry, the social media reactions, and why moments like this still unite fans. Andy also celebrates the return of baseball as spring games begin and the long road toward the MLB season kicks off. The conversation then shifts to bigger world events, including rising tensions between the United States and Iran and what potential military escalation could mean. The hosts share their perspectives on the uncertainty surrounding global politics and how quickly situations can change. Finally, the Article of the Week dives into one of music's most debated mysteries: the death of Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain. A former Seattle police officer now claims the original investigation may have been mishandled, raising questions about evidence inconsistencies, the crime scene, and whether Cobain's death was truly a suicide. The crew discusses the theories, the history behind the case, and why the story still fascinates fans more than 30 years later. It's another packed episode full of gaming talk, movie reviews, sports excitement, current events, and deep discussions you won't want to miss. Tune in and join the conversation. On Episode 131 of The Dreaming of Disney, we're taking you inside the D23 25th Anniversary panel for Disney California Adventure and breaking down everything we learned .From the 1995 Aspen retreat where Michael Eisner and Imagineers dreamed up a second gate… to the budget constraints that shaped the original park… to the mind-blowing logistics of filming Soarin' Over California… we're diving deep into how DCA was born. Then we shift into the reimagining era. How Buena Vista Street transformed the entrance. How Pixar Pier found its identity. The emotional, controversial switch from Tower of Terror to Guardians of the Galaxy. The genius behind Cars Land. And how World of Color almost didn't happen until Bob Iger asked one simple question: “When can we do this?”Plus, Audreyann shares why Guardians might just be better than Tower (yes, we said it), and we reflect on how Imagineers honored the past while building the DCA we love today. If you love park history, Imagineering stories, and behind-the-scenes Disney magic, this one's for you.
