In this study we'll be looking at Jeremiah 44, where we follow the final message Jeremiah delivers to the Jewish remnant who fled to Egypt after the fall of Jerusalem. Instead of learning from the judgment they had witnessed, the people continued in the very idolatry that had brought destruction upon Judah. Through Jeremiah, God confronts their false reasoning, their refusal to listen, and their determination to continue in sin. The chapter reminds us that religious activity is not the same as obedience, and that God's Word will always stand—no matter how confidently people may reject it. Join us as we explore this sobering passage and consider what it teaches about the danger of hardening our hearts to God's truth. Study Outline (PDF) Study Outline (Word)

In this teaching we come to Jeremiah 43, a chapter that forces us to wrestle with a hard but necessary question: What do we do when trusting God feels risky? After asking for the Lord's guidance and promising obedience, the remnant of Judah is faced with a choice. The Word of God is clear. But fear is loud. Instead of resting in His promise, they choose what feels safer. This chapter isn't really about geography — it's about trust. It's about what happens when fear tries to speak louder than faith. It's about the danger of asking for God's will but already having our own plan. Join us as we walk through this powerful and relevant passage and consider what it means for us today. When life feels uncertain, who will lead — fear or faith? Study Outline (PDF) Study Outline (Word)

In this study we continue our verse-by-verse journey through Jeremiah, picking up in chapter 42. In the aftermath of chaos and national collapse, the remnant of Judah asks the prophet Jeremiah to seek the Lord for direction. They promise obedience—whatever God says. But when fear grips the heart, will they truly trust Him? In this powerful chapter, we'll see how waiting tests the posture of our hearts, how anxiety can quietly shape our decisions, and why real security is found not in running from our fears—but in obeying the voice of the Lord. Join us as we explore what it means to seek God sincerely, wait patiently, and trust Him fully when the future feels uncertain. Study Outline (PDF) Study Outline (Word)

In this study of Jeremiah, we pick up in Jeremiah 40:13 and examine the collapse of stability among the remnant left in the land after Jerusalem's fall. What begins with deception and betrayal quickly turns into violence, fear, and forced movement. Along the way, we consider the importance of discernment, the danger of spiritual compromise, and how internal betrayal can be just as destructive as external opposition. This passage also sets the stage for the critical decisions the remnant will face next as they seek direction from the Lord. Join us as we walk through the text and reflect on what it teaches us about leadership, fear, and trusting God in uncertain moments. Study Outline (PDF) Study Outline (Word)

A special midweek guest teaching from the Book of Philippians by Mr. Mike Mowen. Calvary Chapel of the Cumberland Valley.

In this study of Jeremiah 40, we step into the aftermath of Jerusalem's fall. The warnings have been fulfilled, the city lies in ruins, and now the question becomes: How do God's people live after discipline has come? This chapter shows us God's faithfulness in unexpected ways—Jeremiah is released by Babylonian authorities, leadership is established among the remnant, and a fragile season of peace begins to take shape. We also see how God works through unlikely people, how obedience often looks ordinary, and how stability can still be threatened by poor discernment. This Chapter reminds us that even after failure, loss, or correction, God is still at work—guiding, providing, and calling His people to walk wisely in what comes next. In this video, Pastor Randy Mosher, Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel of the Cumberland Valley, continues leading us through a verse-by-verse study of the Book of Jeremiah, picking up in through Jeremiah 39, a chapter where God's long-spoken warnings finally became history. We'll walk through the fall of Jerusalem, the collapse of its leadership, and the sobering reality of what happens when God's word is delayed, resisted, or ignored. But we'll also see something just as powerful—how God faithfully preserved His servant Jeremiah and remembered a quiet act of courageous obedience by a man named Ebed-Melech. Jeremiah 39 shows us that God's word is always fulfilled—both His warnings and His promises. It reminds us that running from God's truth never brings freedom, that delayed obedience carries real consequences, and that God never forgets those who willingly yield themselves to be used by Him, even at personal risk. Take time to listen to the study of this important and sobering chapter and consider what it still says to our world—and to our hearts—today. Study Outline (PDF) Study Outline (Word)

Daniel 4:18-37

In this video Pastor Randy Mosher, Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel of the Cumberland Valley, continues to lead us on a verse-by-verse study through the Book of Jeremiah, turning our attention to Jeremiah chapter 38. This chapter places us in the final days before Jerusalem's fall and reveals the growing cost of faithfulness. Jeremiah is falsely accused, silenced by political leaders, and lowered into a cistern—not for wrongdoing, but for speaking God's truth. At the same time, we see King Zedekiah torn between the fear of man and the fear of the Lord, quietly seeking counsel yet unwilling to act on what he hears. As we work through the text, we'll explore: Why God's truth is often labeled as “dangerous” when it confronts false security; The responsibility of leaders when God's Word is clear but unpopular; The quiet courage of Ebed-Melech, and how God honors faith expressed through action; What it looks like to trust the Lord when obedience appears costly. Jeremiah 38 challenges us to ask whether we truly believe God's Word when it runs against the pressure of culture, politics, or personal comfort—and whether we are willing to stand with truth even when it leaves us misunderstood or alone. We invite you to watch this in-depth, Scripture-centered study as we continue learning what it means to fear the Lord rather than man. Study Outline (PDF) Study Outline (Word)

In this teaching we continue our verse-by-verse journey through the Book of Jeremiah, picking up in Jeremiah 37, a chapter that pulls back the curtain on the final days of Judah's monarchy—and reveals the tragic consequences of leadership that fears man more than God. We'll watch King Zedekiah wrestle with fear, political pressure, and indecision, even as the Word of the Lord stands clear and unchanged. Jeremiah's faithfulness in the face of rejection and imprisonment offers us a rich reminder that God's messengers are often resisted when a society is drifting from Him. Come ready to be encouraged, challenged, and anchored in the truth as we open God's Word together. Study Outline (PDF) Study Outline (Word)

This week in our Verse-by-Verse study, we step into one of the most dramatic chapters in the Book of Jeremiah—where the Word of God takes center stage. A scroll is written, read, rejected, and rewritten… and through it all, we see just how far a nation can drift when it refuses to listen, and how faithfully God continues to speak even then. Watch the message of the Lord move from the prophet's mouth, to the scribe's pen, to the temple courts, and all the way into the king's chamber. Jeremiah 36 is a powerful reminder that God's Word cannot be silenced, no matter who tries to extinguish it. Don't miss this important and timely chapter. Study Outline (PDF) Study Outline (Word)

Join us as we continue our "verse-by-verse" study of the Book of Jeremiah, picking up in Chapter 35. In Jeremiah 35, God uses the Rechabites—an obscure, obedient family—to confront Judah's long history of ignoring His voice. While Judah repeatedly refused God's Word, the Rechabites remained faithful to the instructions handed down to them for generations. Through this powerful contrast, God exposes the tragedy of a people who hear but will not obey, and He highlights His delight in those who walk in integrity and faithfulness. This chapter calls us to renewed responsiveness to God's Word and steadfast obedience in a culture drifting far from Him. Grab your Bible and join us as we grow together in this incredible passage of Scripture! Study Outline (PDF)

Mr. Chad Ritchie, Calvary Chapel of the Cumberland Valley, shares a powerful message from 2 Kings 5, the story of Naaman the Leper—a proud man brought low and transformed by the grace of God. Through Naaman's journey of obedience and humility, we'll see how faith overcomes pride, and how greed can hinder the work of God in our lives. Come ready to be encouraged and challenged to walk in simple, obedient faith before the Lord.

Pastor Charles Burkett shares a special message from the Book of John titled “He Must Increase.” In John 3:22–26, Jesus and His disciples are in the Judean countryside, and John the Baptist is baptizing at Aenon near Salim. A discussion rises about purification, and John's followers point out that people are going to Jesus. This moment becomes the doorway to John's humble confession that the spotlight belongs to Christ alone.

Mr. Mike Mowen, Calvary Chapel of the Cumberland Valley, brings us a special message from the Book of Philippians.

A special message from the Book of Habakkuk by Mr. Bob Rider, Calvary Chapel of the Cumberland Valley.

In this video, Pastor Randy Mosher, Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel of the Cumberland Valley, continues to lead us in a verse-by-verse study through the Book of Jeremiah, with a powerful and sobering chapter—Jeremiah 34. As Jerusalem faces its final days under siege, King Zedekiah and the people make a solemn covenant before God—but they quickly break it when the pressure lifts. What follows is one of the clearest pictures in Scripture of how seriously God takes His people's promises, and how deeply He desires genuine repentance rather than fear-driven obedience. Through this passage, we'll see that God's justice and mercy always run side by side. He disciplines His people, but He never stops calling them back to Himself. And we'll be reminded that the integrity of our walk—keeping our word, standing firm in truth, and living out what we profess—matters deeply to the Lord, especially before a watching world. Join us as we learn from Judah's failure and rediscover the faithfulness of the God who always keeps His word. RESOURCES: Study Outline (Word) Study Outline (PDF)

This teaching by Pastor Randy Mosher, Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel of the Cumberland Valley, picks up in Jeremiah chapter 33, where the prophet Jeremiah receives one of the most powerful promises in all of Scripture—spoken while he's still imprisoned in the court of the guard. Surrounded by ruin and despair, God speaks a fresh word of hope: “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things which you do not know.” We'll see how God reveals Himself as the Creator, the Covenant Keeper, and the Restorer—the One whose promises are as sure as the sunrise. From desolation to restoration, from silence to song, this chapter reminds us that God's faithfulness is never canceled by our circumstances. Study Outline (PDF) Study Outline (Word)

In this video we continue our verse-by-verse journey through the Book of Jeremiah—picking up in Chapter 32. In one of the most remarkable moments of faith in all of Scripture, Jeremiah obeys God's command to purchase a field in the midst of Jerusalem's siege. Though the city is about to fall, God uses this act to reveal His unshakable promises of restoration and hope. Together, we'll see how God's plans often unfold in seasons of uncertainty—and how faith takes its greatest stand when circumstances make the least sense. So come ready to dig deep into God's Word, be encouraged by His faithfulness, and be reminded that nothing is too hard for the Lord! Study Outline (PDF) Study Outline (Word)

In this study, we'll be picking back up in Jeremiah 31. Before moving on through the rest of the chapter, we'll pause to look again at verses 29–30. These verses directly challenge the modern theological notion of “generational curses”—a teaching that has gained traction in some circles but does not align with the message of God's Word. After walking through this important discussion, we'll continue in the chapter and focus on one of the most significant passages in the Old Testament: Jeremiah's prophetic description of the New Covenant. This is a powerful section of Scripture that points us to the heart of God's plan of redemption fulfilled in Christ. Join us as we continue our verse-by-verse journey through Jeremiah and see how these truths still speak directly into our lives today. In this broadcast, we conclude a study of why we can have confidence in the Pre-Tribulation Rapture of the Church. Far from being a topic of fear or speculation, the rapture points us to Christ's promise to deliver His Bride before the coming storm of judgment. This is a message of assurance, comfort, and urgency as we live in expectation of His soon return. Watch this teaching and be strengthened in the hope of Christ's return! In this week's broadcast we'll continue our "verse-by-verse" journey through the Book of Jeremiah, picking up in Chapter 31, one of the richest prophetic chapters in all of Scripture. From Rachel's weeping over her children in exile, to God's promise of hope and restoration, to the glorious announcement of the New Covenant written on the heart, and finally to the vision of a city permanently secure in God's presence — this passage takes us from sorrow to joy, from despair to hope, and from judgment to everlasting covenant promises. Join us as we unpack each verse carefully, showing how God's faithfulness to Israel and His New Covenant in Christ give us confidence and assurance today. Study Outline (PDF) Study Outline (Word)

This is the first of a two-part study on one of the most anticipated events in Bible prophecy—the Rapture of the Church. In Part 1, we'll survey the different views on the rapture and show why Scripture itself teaches that believers will one day be “caught up” to meet the Lord (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17). We'll also consider how this hope has encouraged the church throughout history and why it remains vital for us today. This first session will lay the groundwork for next week, when we'll turn our focus specifically to the Pre-Tribulation view and the hope it offers to believers. Join us as we open the Scriptures and consider why the concept of the rapture offers such a blessed hope for believers. Join us as we continue our verse-by-verse journey through the book of Jeremiah. In this study, we'll be picking up in Jeremiah 31:4, and beginning a powerful section where God promises to rebuild, restore, and rejoice over His people. We'll see how these prophecies not only point to Israel's future restoration but also speak to us today—reminding us that our God is faithful, He turns mourning into joy, and He fills His people with His abundance through Christ.
