These Sermons are recorded during Sunday Worship Service
God is the ultimate guide for our lives. He will keep us on the safe path when we recognize and listen to His guidance. There is no situation where He will not have control. We don't understand where we are or where we are going sometimes, its only when we reach our destination that we see how God has guided us.
It takes faith to make it through this life. We need to not just have faith we must use action to allow that faith to work.
IF is a very small word, but it holds so much meaning when it comes to your Spiritual Life. IF always proceeds a statement that requires you to put your Faith into action. We shouldn't be asking God IF, instead we should be looking at the IFs in our lives and choose to put your Faith into action.
We need to have a vision and faith. Put your Faith to work and hold to God's vision for your life. Fear is the absence of Faith and always puts a stop to your works.
You have the right amount of Faith that you need to survive. the problem is we often choose not to use it to its fullest. Any limit you find with God is a limit that you have put on God.
The wheat and the tares look the same until they come o completeness. It isn't until they produce their fruit that you can tell the difference. We nee to inspect the fruit that is grown, but it isn't our job to separate the harvest.
When you chose to accept Christ as your savior, you had a seed planted within you. You need to ask yourself, where are you planting your seeds, and are you nurturing the seed that God has given you?
We all have within us the ability to grow. What we grow is up to what we choose to nurture. We need to nurture the positive and forget the negative. But we must remember that, growing fruit is not a short term endeavor. We must wait to realize the fruits of our labor, within God's timeframe.
God may humble you but He won't hurt you. Don't live your life with fear, because when you find yourself living and following God's Word, you will overcome problems that arise. God has a plan, it isn't always easy, but it isn't going to harm you. Instead it will harden you and teach you in preparation for something bigger and better.
*NOTE* There were some testimonies given at the opening of the service that where given without the aid of a microphone. There will be some quiet times during this recording* When we choose to live in God's house we should desire to be more like Him daily. We need not live in fear and have doubts. We need to live our lives with a desire to remain within God's house and to have a positive relationship with Him.
God knows what you are going through. He knows when you need the helping hand, he knows when you are tired. It is our task to remain strong spiritually when you are physically weary.
You have been adopted by God through Christ. You can call Him Abba Father, and are now an heir to the blessings promised to Abraham.
Barriers can keep you safe, or they can keep you away from things. God places barriers to keep you safe, BUT we create barriers that keep us from our blessings. Don't turn away when things get tough and miss out on getting closer to God and receiving your blessing.
Professing and possessing are two different things. When you receive your salvation, you must profess your Faith. But in order to grow and develop you Faith you must possess it and use it. Consider your faithful actions to be investments into your future.
No matter what you are facing or going through, You need to take a stand in your Faith. Stand strong with your Faith and allow God to show you the way. Help others by standing with them in tough times
•We have to get to the place where we desire God more than anything else. •We might not always agree with God’s answer, but we can be sure He is never wrong. •When sheep hear their shepard, they don’t question him, they simply follow. •All we have to do is be like sheep and take God at His unfailing word in all situations. •If we aren’t attached to Jesus Christ who is the vine, there is no life in us. •As the world continues to grow darker nearer to the end, we as children of God should have a joy and praise like no other and allow our light to shine before the world. •God and His word never changes, and neither should our confidence and faith in Him.
When you get in God's way, you will find your path hard and arduous. Give it over to God, live within His protection, allowing Him to lead you and blaze your path. Stop "helping God" and start trusting God. Accept His 360 degrees of protection and get the mindset that He will lead you when you need to be. Allow Him to fight the battle, and don't allow thing within this life to pull you away from Him and His protection.
We shouldn't just run to God when we are facing problems. We should aspire to live constantly within God's will so we can fully experience His Peace. Living within His Peace will cause you to look at life and troubles differently.
We have the option to accept the greatest gift ever given, God's Love. The story of Christ's birth is a story of showing that through ANY situation God can and will provide you with His Gift of Love. Mary gave birth a virgin, Joseph, by Faith, accepted God's word and stayed with Mary. The timing and location were dictated by non-godly edicts. Through any situation God will see His love delivered.
The way we see time is different than the way God sees it. Often times we find ourselves facing issues and just when it seems that no more can go wrong that is when God steps in to work. This often proves to us that it wasn't us creating the solution, but instead it was God delivering the solution.
Thanksgiving Day is everyday for the Child of God. Build your positivity daily by thanking God for his blessings. Facing trials? Thank God for reliving you through the trial, while you're still facing it!
Don't allow yourself to hold on the negative things of this world, instead release those things and hold on the positive things that God has for you. Our Faith should be one that allows us to look at issues and problems and not see the journey but instead believe in the positive outcome.
Faith is the basis of your spirituality. Your true relationship with Faith will show through your actions and not your words. You should strive to get closer to God, not just when your Faith is tested but also when life is going great!
When you plant a seed you can't just put it into the ground and expect it to grow. It requires you to nourish it daily until it grows. Our faith and spirit are seeds that have been planted within us. We need to insure that we a nourishing them daily to allow them to grow.
You need to look at yourself and your calling in the spirit. We have all been called to be a part of God's plan to grow His kingdom. We need to change our perspective and quit asking "Who should be doing this?" and start asking "How can I be doing this?" Our responsibility is to have the desire to put our ideas into action so that we can realize our potential in this life. We should always be looking to grow and have a desire to be more, do more, and get closer to God.
As a Child of God, you need to prepare yourself to face trials. Trials are God's way of insuring that we will be prepared to spread His love through our own personal ministry. Our blessings are there but we need to have the curiosity and desire to seek out God's plan, through the Word of God. Admit you have a limited understanding and listen to God as he guides you through His plan for your life.
God's plan requires us to put in effort. If you are not working on your relationship with God, it will not grow. God has a plan for us, but we often hold that plan up by being complacent. You can not wait on someone to do it for you, you must get up and do it for yourself. By grace and mercy, God will be there to welcome you back when you put the work in!
Everyone "knows a guy." Someone that they can go to to get answers. Car problems? I know a guy! Plumbing issues? I know a guy! Why is it that we put faith into "our guy" but we don't always have faith in our God? We we put our faith in God we can move with an expectation that He will make a way for us. Instead of saying "I know a guy" we should be saying "I know a God!"
Who does God say you are? We often struggle with doubt and self esteem issues, but we shouldn't. We need to make it a point to see ourselves as God sees us! *Check out the PDF attached to this sermon and print it out. Use it to re-affirm Who God Says You Are!*
What seems extraordinary for us is just ordinary for God. He can do all things when we allow Him. If your blessings seem just out of reach, look in the mirror, it isn't God holding back, its you holding Him back
When God closes a door, He is wanting you to work to find another way. Don't force the door open, instead work to find another way. Sometimes you need to climb up and come through the roof, work hard to find a new way to get to God! *There were some testimonies to start the service that were not through a microphone, this resulted in a quiet start to the service.*
You have been called for a purpose, to be a fisher of souls for God. We need to use the abilities that God has given us to fulfill that purpose. When God leads you into a place, it will be at the time he has determined that your tools will succeed in bring in the "catch". Your "tools" will be uniquely relevant to succeed in the situation.
God will never take you into a situation that you can not overcome. He will always prepare you in some way to be ready for the fight. When you follow God's plan and path you can be assured that you will be victorious!
You need to realize that God will often send you into situations that you don't expect to find yourself in. It isn't to put you down or to hinder you its because He needs you to be there. Your "There" isn't always what we would want or expect but it is always in God's plan and under His guidance. HE IS ALWAYS THERE FOR US!
What good is complaining? What does complaining actually get you? All it does is hinder your witness, your love, your faith and your time to study. It sets you apart from what God has in store for you.
Don't get tied up in the things from your past, keep your eyes focused forward. God doesn't want us to dwell in the past, to get hung up on those things that we have already overcome. Its okay to remember how God helped you through a problem and thank Him for it, but He has bigger and better for His children. The way He helped you before will not be the way He helps you now. Don't miss your bigger better blessings, by focusing on the old ones!
You need to have a "bulldog" type of faith. A bulldog with latch on and not let go, no matter what it faces, it will hold on with all its might. That is the type of Faith that we need to have; Grab ahold of God's Word and not let go. Understand that He knows where you are, what you are facing and close you are to failing; But He is there waiting for us to focus our Faith on Him and allow Him to help guide you.
God has given you instructions on how to live your life. It is up to you to read and study the Word in an attempt to live your life according to His directions. But be wary, because knowing the Word isn't enough, you must believe the Word and live it through your Faith.
We need to build upon a strong foundation within our spiritual lives. Taking a lesson from TheThree Little Pigs, we need to be like the third pig that took the extra time and effort build a strong house with a strong foundation. Our guide to complete this is the Bible. If we follow the guide that is set for us we will never find ourselves without help or within a situation that we can not overcome.
God is three in one; Father, Son, and Spirit. We too are three in one; Body, Mind, and Spirit. If you are saved you are right in your Spirit. God promised us that we don't have to fight battles in the body, so then where should we focus our efforts? Your battles are in your mind. God can not manifest your life if your mind- attitude- doesn't match your actions. Find Mark online at Mark Shell Ministries
Life is Hard. It will send you troubles that you need to face. Christians are not exempt from this fact. But through Christ we can make ourselves better through those trials. You need to choose between getting bitter or getting better.
