When do you know if it's time to quit? Having had a very stressful few weeks where I have ended up burned out and stressed, it occurred to me that our ‘path' is not our goal. If we continue to follow a path that's only resulting in making us feel tired, stressed, burned out and tired rather than fulfilling our potential and reaching our goal, then it seems to me that it's not the right path and we need to change to a new path. LinkedIn is one of the Big Three social media platforms, and if you operate in the B2B space, then you'll no doubt be on there. BUT, do you know how to access all of its magic? I believe that each of us has a purpose, a reason to be on this planet at this time. You wouldn't be working so hard at your business unless you were driven by an inner desire to do something greater with your talents and abilities. I suspect that there is probably some kind of difference that you want to make in the world with your unique set of talents. Our minds though, are very good at getting in our own way. We question ourselves, we worry about what people will think, we'll think we're not good enough, we think we're going to be ‘found out'. When you live your life in that place or purpose, then you can't help but be good enough, you are never going to be ‘found out', you can live with complete confidence and will no longer have any need to question yourself, and – quite frankly – the negative thinkers didn't ever belong in your world anyway. Sure, I can teach you marketing to help you get ‘you' out there into the world. But before then, you have to know who ‘you' is. You have to have the complete and utter confidence that you are the ‘you' who is living their life in the way that your inner spirit has intended. Living to your full truth and thus to your full potential. That's when you can serve the world in the absolute best way possible, and you can be who the world is waiting for. Today we have a major Jupiter Saturn conjunction in 0 degrees 38' of Aquarius, and it has major significance for the world that we live in, our lives and our businesses. In this episode I am deep diving into the conjunction and taking you through what this conjunction will mean for you. NB: I was having a senior moment and mentioned at the beginning that there was a major conjunction in 1960/61. Apologies for me saying that because that date was incorrect (no idea what planet I was on at the that particular moment...it obviously wasn't Jupiter or Saturn!!) the last conjunction as close as our one this year AND so that we can see it from Earth was in 1226. The next close conjunction will be in my kids' lifetimes in 2080 but then the one after that will be in 2417 so yesterday's conjunction was our best chance of seeing on this close. Unless you have been living on the moon, then you would have noticed that this year has been a a teensy weensy bit interesting. Major changes and major transformations to our entire lives and businesses and everything that we have got used to and known, I think we're changing for the good though; like any transformations, it's painful whilst you go through the process, but it's good when you have reached the other side. Astrologers have seen this year coming for a long time: the Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto stellium in Capricorn is a POWERFUL and TRANSFORMATIVE combination and (as astrologers) we've known that something major will be happening this year for a long while. Something destructive but transformative. So here we are nearing the end of 2020, all of us reeling from the enforced changes this year. My best advice would be to go with it because life - as we knew it - will never be the same again...but in a good way. I'm looking forward to seeing what the next few years will bring. So, in today's episode, I have broken this stellium down for you and am giving you an insight into what will be happening next and when. Here's what I did to get over my abject dislike of video and built my confidence, and how you too can build your confidence with stuff you don't like.
When you know you are allowed to fail (in fact it's an integral part of marketing) then a) it takes a big weight off your shoulders and b) you will get more successful at it!
Sales and marketing gets put together and treated together, but there IS a difference, and marketing and advertising get interchanged far too regularly for my liking (I probably need to get out a little more if this is all I'm worrying about!).
