This week we're joined by Fox Racing's Head of Performance Cut and Sew, Keegan Reyfeldt to hear about their SpeedSuit RS which was launched last year and really got the internet talking. We're also hearing about the development of their all new full face helmet, the Rampage RS with Senior Director of Merchandising, Jarred Law. Fox is keen to push the limits of technology to make us faster, safer and more comfortable. That is evidenced in these two products and this is a fascinating deep dive into what went into these two ground breaking offerings. Hear how Fox worked alongside their athletes to redefine downhill race kit, the advantages it brings and how they are already looking to the next step. We find out how Fox decided current helmet safety standards weren't keeping up with the increasing pace of the sport and how they remedied that whilst also significant reducing the weight of their full face offering. This episode really pulls back the curtain on what it takes to push the limits of riding gear. We kick off with Keegan to discuss the SpeedSuit and then hand it over to Jarred to cover the Rampage RS in a little under half an hours time. So sit back, hit play, and enjoy this conversation with Keegan Reyfeldt and Jarred Law. You can also watch this episode on YouTube here. You can check out the new Rampage RS on Fox's website here. Stashed founder Elliot Tanner has many talents, like making ultra-light climbing gear and designing components for Marker's Kingpin touring binding. But that's not all: he also built his own high-pivot, gearbox-equipped Enduro bikes, and that was before high-pivots or gearboxes were cool. But it wasn't until his family had amassed more bikes than they had room for that he got the inspiration to create a bike storage solution. We caught up with Elliot to chat about that first design, and how it went from something he built to solve his storage problem to the Spacerail Bike Storage System that is the foundation of Stashed, plus a whole lot more.RELATED LINKS:BLISTER+ Get Yourself CoveredStashedTOPICS & TIMES:Elliot's Engineering BackgroundDesigning Climbing GearMaking Marker KingPin ComponentsElliot's High-Pivot Gearbox BikesDesigning his First Bike Storage SystemFounding StashedManufacturing in WalesWhat's hanging on Elliot's Spacerail Favorite Place to RideCHECK OUT OUR OTHER PODCASTS:Blister CinematicGEAR:30Blister PodcastCRAFTED Hosted on Acast. This week we're catching up after a massive double-header in the Enduro World Cup. Val di Fassa and La Thuile delivered everything we love about the sport: big mountains, tight racing, and a few surprises along the way. Joining me to break it all down are two riders who know exactly what it takes to perform at the top, Morgane Charre and Greg Callaghan. We get into what those Italian rounds were really like from the inside, from pushing through injuries and dialing in recovery strategies, to the chaos and buzz of night stages, and the emergence of some exciting new talent in both the men's and women's fields. We also took a moment to step back and reflect on the state of Enduro as a whole — where the sport is right now, what's working, and why this season has felt like a positive shift, both on and off the bike. This one's got insight, honesty, and a bit of that good race-weekend energy, so sit back, hit play, and enjoy this conversation with Morgane Charre and Greg Callaghan. This week's episode is a little different as it was recorded in front of a live audience. BOA invited me out to the Leogang World Cup and after the race we went to their office in Mondsee to record an episode with their supported athlete, Nina Hoffmann, in front of the BOA team. I want to say a huge thanks to BOA for inviting me over, it was great to meet the whole team and inspiring to see the focus and attention to detail that goes into the design of every product that features a BOA dial. After seeing that, it's really no surprise that the products are so good. Nina literally just bounced back from the biggest crash of her life, off the top of the wall ride in Leogang. We'll be hearing all about that crazy moment along with how Nina's dealing with both the physical and mental side of recovery. Nina discusses some of the changes she's made over the the winter, like bringing on a coach, getting to know a new mechanic and becoming a podcaster herself. It's an honest, inspiring conversation with one of downhill's most exciting athletes. So sit back, hit play, and enjoy this conversation with Nina Hoffmann. Today I'm joined by Cy Turner, the founder of Cotic, to find out more about one of the most commented on bikes of the year, their brand new Cotic eBike. It's a bold move from a small, steel-focused brand known for doing things differently, and it's certainly ruffled a few feathers. We dig into the design process, the engineering challenges, what made Cy take the leap into e-bikes and the thinking behind some of the key design decisions. We also chat about Cotic's fresh new branding, what it means for the brand's future, and how people have responded. This is a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at how innovation, great engineering, and a strong sense of identity come together to shape a product and a brand. So it's time to sit back, hit play and listen to this episode with Cy Turner. You can also watch this episode on YouTube here. You can follow Cotic on Instagram @coticbikes and find them on YouTube here and see the full range at cotic.co.uk. Enduro is back and it feels like it might be turning a corner. After a couple of tough seasons, there's a real sense of momentum building in the sport, and we're here for it. In this episode, I'm joined by Greg Callaghan and Morgane Charre, two riders who've been at the sharp end of Enduro racing for years, to dig into the first two rounds of the 2025 EDR season. We're talking big changes: the return of two-day racing, a fresh energy in the pits, and a crop of new talent shaking things up. Greg and Morgane share their experiences from Pietra and Poland so we get the low down on what went on. We get into everything from course design and recovery strategies to weather chaos, injuries, and the impact of a brand new documentary series that's got people talking. There's still a way to go, but if the start of the season is anything to go by, Enduro's future is looking a whole lot brighter. For fans of our ‘Downtime Goes Downhill' series you'll know my good friends Ben and Jonny who I've been racing downhill alongside for the last two seasons. For 2025, things are shifting a bit. Mani Lettenbichler is as humble as he is hardcore. Coming from Hard Enduro where he dominated the 2023 season, going undefeated and proving he's an absolute machine on a dirt bike. But that's not the whole story. Mani's also a huge fan of mountain biking and absolutely shreds. He's raced eEDR, and is no slouch on a downhill bike. In this episode, we chat about how his moto skills transfer to MTB, what it would take for him to line up at a World Cup downhill, and why e-bikes are putting a massive smile on his face. We also dig into what it really takes to win at the top level in Hard Enduro, from brutal race days and gnarly terrain, to hydration, nutrition, and the mental side of it all. Plus, we get into what's next for a rider who genuinely loves everything two wheels. Mani is a great person to have involved in our amazing sport and he really brings the stoke and a heap of good vibes. So it's time to sit back, hit play and listen to this episode with Mani Lettenbichler. You can watch this episode on YouTube here. But his path hasn't been straightforward. We talk about making the switch from downhill, dealing with injuries, and the realities of sponsorship. You'll also hear how Sam Hill played a pivotal role in Dan's story. Dan's got a laid-back style, but don't let that fool you, his approach to racing is calculated, and his journey is full of lessons. So, it's time to sit back, hit play and listen to this episode with Dan Booker. You can also watch this episode on YouTube here. You can follow Dan on Instagram @danbooker1. In a BANG ON very special episode, we chat with Gina Warburton, Curator at The Whitaker Museum, straight from the STASHED exhibition space. STASHED presents the personal art collection of Short Supply. As long as they've been artists, they've been collectors.Open: 15th November - 23rd February 2025(Wed - Sun 10am - 4pm, Thurs 10am - 8pm)The Whitaker Museum & Art GalleryWhitaker Park, Haslingden RoadBB4 6RE“These are the things we can't take our eyes off, the art we want to hold in our hands, the things we want to make sure don't end up in a skip.”STASHED asks why more artists don't consider themselves collectors, and what would happen if they did? Riffing off the Cabinet of Curiosities and bringing their living room to life in the gallery, this exhibition invites you to consider what you've got stashed in the attic, and questions how the art market really works (among friends making birthday gifts and swapping zines for paintings). So, search BANG ON in your streaming app to listen, like, follow, and subscribe. We're deep in the middle of the 2025 downhill team moves, and with all the structural changes the UCI has made to the downhill World Cup, things have gotten pretty complicated. This week, we're joined by Alan Milway, Norco Race Division team manager and coach to the stars, to help us break it all down. We'll go team by team, giving you the inside scoop on who's riding what and how we think it might shake out this season. Now, a quick disclaimer—this was recorded the day after the team submissions to the UCI, so not all the facts were available. In some cases, we've had to piece together the puzzle, and we might not have got it all spot on. Case in point: my biggest slip-up so far was speculating that Commencal Schwalbe by Les Orres might struggle to make the top-15 team cut. Turns out, I hadn't realised just how many points Lisa Baumann racked up outside of World Cup racing. Top work, Lisa, and apologies to the team for underestimating you! Alright, this episode has heaps of insight ahead from one of the sharpest minds in the business. So, it's time to sit back, hit play and listen to this episode with Alan Milway.
