This beer was brewed with wild yeast, Oregon cherries, and rose hips from the Jasmine Pearl Tea Company. Oregon Kara Sakura was Cherry Blossom Festival and while most of it is being shipped off to Japan, a limited supply will be available at the Culmination Tap Room. This beer is a sour wit with cherries, it is fuchsia in color and has flavors of medium tartness, clove and cherry. Kriek Mythology 2016 is a lambic inspired American sour red with cherries. This is a beer style that we continue to make yearly, and a beer that is dear to the hearts of our brewers. Kriek Mythology is reminiscent of pie cherries, aromas and flavors of baking spices, and has a finish with a refreshing bright acidity. The bottles available are lightly carbed featuring more depth of body, and the A.B.V. of this beer registers at 7.5%. Deutschland-Down Under Berliner Weisse Culmination’s Oregon Brewers Festival Beer --The Culmination Back Bar Podcast In this short episode of the Culmination Back Bar Podcast we are talking about Deutschland-Down Under Berliner Weisse, the beer that Culmination will have at the 2016 Oregon Brewers Festival. This beer was made with 100’s of lbs. of kiwi fruit and both Topaz Hops and Hüll Melon Hops. We started brewing here at Culmination in May of 2015 long after the deadline for the 2015 OBF had passed. This was the first year that we applied to OBF and we are honored to be able to have one of our beers being poured at the Oregon Brewers Festival.
