Thoughts while on this journey called life.
Tune in as Dre Murray discusses the behind the scenes of his upcoming project Manumit 2. In this episode, Dre talks about the song, H.I.M., and it's significance. He also speaks about his son's new discovery of CDs.
And we're back! This episode is for all of the humans out there that see success, and after a period a time begin to do whatever they can to get away from that success. Those that are in a constant cycle of working towards a goal, getting close to the goal, and then abandoning the mission. You are not alone. Let's break the cycle!
At the time, I remember an overwhelming sense of fear whenever God would tug on my heart. It was fear of the unknown. fear of surrendering, and then being rejected. I was very close to allowing fear to keep me from the greatest gift I ever received.
What's been going on in my world since we last spoke.
Thoughts on not wasting gifts, talents, and opportunities.
Take a deep breath. Look at everything in front of you. Then regroup.
Self awareness is one of the most important things we have been given. It’s a gift. Find this gift as soon as possible.
You know what it is. You can look back and see IT everywhere. You have it. Go use it. YOU GOT THIS!
You may think you’re starting and stopping, but I say you’ve just started another chapter.
Work is a beautiful thing. Make the most of the time you have. Recognize when it’s time to get to work.
Some of the best experiences I’ve had working with other individuals or companies, has been when the finances have been handled up front. Whether that means I’m creating a piece of work at no charge, or if I’m charging a fee, as long as it’s handled on the front end things usually go very well.
A lot of my opportunities have come from the relationships that I have built over the years. Take some time this weekend to trace certain opportunities back to specific relationships that you have formed.
You’re scared. This is new territory. It’s silent. Its lonely. It’s dark. There’s only one solution.
It may sting at first, but trust me...it helps more than it hurts.
One of the most important words you’ll ever use. It’s value is unmatched
Progressive > Perfection is a great way to put it. But even better than that is to say, “Progress is the reward.”
Turn away from the distractions. Be present and focus on the work you’re doing.

This year, I want to focus on giving and receiving tools instead of jewels. The value of jewels fluctuate, but a hammer will drive a nail home every time.
Try not to floss in the backcourt while the other team is scoring on the other end.
