His son @lachance.g decided to do BJJ because of he heard on @joerogan podcast and brought the idea to his dad and Jean didn't hesitate and they both did their first class together.A 55 years old that took too long to find that within his first class he would be in LOVE and that he never knew that BJJ could be so much fun.He just did a surgery on his shoulder so he can keep training this guy is full of motivation to keep going and you need to see the connection between him and his son on the mats, it's an amazing feeling to see that.You can definitely be motivate by this guy little path on Jiu-Jitsu and like he says he has not intentions to stop training and HE JUST STARTED AT 55.Please give us a credit on this edition. On this week episode #27 We are having as guest Brendan Tran @tranasaurusrex97.Brendan is a 24 years old manager at @baowaterloobar and a BJJ white belt.Training for couple months Brendan Found a passion, He did his first class and just went full mode for BJJ.With a quick improvement he also like to watch a lot of videos and is always down for a BJJ session. with COVID on the way He is not training as much as he wanted but the fire is lit and it has been growing inside of him. this guy will have an amazing journey and I guarantee that he will go far.
Alex Perez is an Architect, training Jiu-Jitsu since 2013 achieved his purple belt and is a great training partner. with experience on competing at many tournaments, He has a great mind set that inspires!He tried other Martial arts after his Capoeira coach left Canada, but He got stuck with BJJ on his first try. Alex went at many different Gym of BJJ, but once He got at Toronto BJJ He found his second home. Training at least 5 times weekly from white belt till purple under Porfessor Jorge Britto.He was also running his own project called KASA Jiu-Jitsu. Mateus Sacramento living out in Vancouver BC, He is a Brown belt coming from Salvador/Bahia.Training since a young age as 14 year old, Mateus said he didn't really like BJJ at first. His coach had to keep calling and bringing to the gym so he could keep Mateus training, His coach had to even go get his family together so he could get Mateus committed to Jiu-Jitsu.With many opportunity that Jiu-Jitsu brought to him, He says that Jiu-Jitsu helped him to be able to recognize and be open to all the chances He had because of JJ.Nowadays living out in another country and teaching Jiu-Jitsu He can say that the love for the art is the responsible for everything is his life.A lover and preacher of the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu!
Melissa Biscardi is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt Under Professor Jorge Britto head coach at Toronto BJJ.She is a Manual Osteopath and a Neurology Nurse, helping people recover post concussion.Training since 2007 Melissa has done many tournaments and have done well in many of them and myself Kelvin have seen many of theses tournaments.
