Seeking Him daily will cause us to develop a love for the light. Jesus calls us out of darkness and into His marvelous light. He doesn't just call us to be close to the light, enough that we just feel pretty good about life, He calls us from darkness completely into the fullness of His light. John 1:1-12, John 3:16-21, 1 John 1:5-7

God has given us each authority over the enemy, in His name. Its up to us to never give back ground that we've fought for through prayer and believing in His power. The devil wants nothing more than to distract us away from Gods plan for us.

God has given each of us personal responsibilities, and called us to be good stewards of every area of our lives. Careful to not spread ourselves too thin, especially concerning our time with Him.

God will show up when we call out to Him with all that is within us. He is a restoring God that will consume the old us and completely purify every part of us. 1 Kings 18

Paul writes to the Colossians. ch 4:1-18We must stay in union with Christ. To live a life that is worthy of His sacrifice. So that we may be a living example to others and spread the gosple.

Through scriptures we can truly know the value of what Jesus has for us. He will fight our battles if we let Him. He will pull us up when we're down. He will provide a salvation plan if we follow Him and His word.

In Colossians 3, Paul instructs the church to put to death the desires of the flesh.

Teaching a bible study is for everyone!

The Lord is our rock we must learn to lean on him when things in our life are not going right. He died on the cross for us he loved us enough to have a relationship with us.

In Colossians 2 emphasizes that believers are completely filled and made alive in Jesus Christ.

What is a bible study? How do you teach one? What if I don't know that much? These are relevant questions. A bible study teaches someone how the bible came about and the plan that God has for your life. God will help you teach it. That's ok, you can learn as you teach. God wants people to know about Him and he wants his people to reach out to others.

The power of a song. There is healing and restoration that can take place when we sing.... Imagine what can happen when we sing a song unto the Lord! Prison doors open, Chains become loosed. God puts a song on our hearts, its up to us to have the courage to let it out.

Paul writes to the church to tell them who Christ is, and to keep his preeminence in all things and places. Today just as when Jesus walked on the earth, when it is made known who He is, it is not well received. Regardless we must keep Him first in all areas of our lives unto the end.

In the Bible, perspective means looking at life through God's eyes instead of just human eyes. It is the spiritual lens that shapes how you see trouble, time, and truth. Having a biblical perspective means trusting God's wisdom even when life makes no sense.

When you are looking at purchasing something like life insurance, a home, a car or even looking into a church or career you go through steps. You start with a thought about it, then may look into it, then start acting on it. It is not until we complete the action of whatever it is we seek that we are fully persuaded. We need to be fully persuaded in Christ that he is for us and not against us. And to be fully persuaded to live for Him.

God will call us to do his will for the world. He needs us to save the lost sinners of this world. we need to be willing for him to call us to help save the lost.

Paul was reaching out to the Church of Colosse. They had a problem about knowing Jesus, and not putting Jesus on the throne. They had false teachings going through their church. We need to put Jesus on the throne where He belongs and we need to believe in truth.

A Calling based ministry. This is one of the final ways that God calls people to work for Him. Generally a calling based ministry is something that someone is good at doing. Sometimes they are not good at it, but will become good at it through the help of God. Either way God will enhance the ability to do something, that way no man can get the glory.

The penalty of pride can be costly when it comes to God. If we let pride take over it can cost us to be distant from God, but if we give that pride to the Lord we will have a relationship with the Lord. We need to lay pride down at Jesus's feet so that we can be blessed and healed.

Waiting on the Lord can be difficult. There are some things that we should be doing while we are waiting on the Lord for answers, direction or what to do that can be life changing. We must seek the Lord daily. We also have to turn to the Lord and also yield to the Lord for answers and direction.

God wants people who are willing to follow Him, then He will give that person a burden. God will not call you out of a disgruntled situation into a burden. God works through peace and contentment.

A lot of people have an idea of how God is. Some people think He is perfect or good, and some think He is terrible and a tyrant. I'll have you know that God is a good God. How could He be good if He allows bad things happen especially to good people. He doesn't always stop bad things from happening, but he can turn bad and ugly into something better. God is sovereign. God is good, it's people who do bad things....

If you have a list of top 10 things. What would be the best things that happen to you on that list? Jesus is the best thing that has happen to all mankind. His presence super cedes any list that we could come up with. If you are thirsty come to Christ and He will quench your thirst.

The call to serve has some things that God needs us to do for him. Are we going to answer the call. We need to spend time in prayer, seek Godly council, and have a burden for others and for the things of Gods kingdom.

On this day July 5, 2026 we celebrate 250 years of our countries independence! As great a victory as that is, it doesn't hold a candle to the victory of the cross! And we're living it.

We may not feel like a slave to anyone, however when we commit sin we become a slave to sin. We need to take rule over sin. Through the Spirit, being led by and renewed in the Spirit daily, we car experience liberty.

People have been to called to serve God in some sort of way. One of the ways it to fill a need. That is a ministry in itself. May not be a pulpit ministry, but the church can use someone who is willing to clean the church, or pull weeds, or fill water jugs. The point is the Church has physical needs, emotional needs, and spiritual needs, and God is looking for someone to fill the need.

God has called each of us to go deeper... In His word, in prayer, in His covering, and into the community. The Acts 19 church used the power of His name to reach new souls and reach deeper.

Happy Father's Day. Is this day a good day for you or is it a rough day for you? Is your dad still around or did he pass away? Do you have a good relationship with your father or did you part ways with him? Whatever the case is, there is a Father that will remain faithful, who will not fail you. That father is God. If you do or don't have a father, God wants to be your father. He wants you to come to Him in the good, the bad, and the ugly.

We need to be Faithful to God in prayer, bible reading, tithe and offering and church attendance. we also need to be laborers for the Lord and taking care of others needs and have a burden for the things of the kingdom.

What we are anchored in matters, not only to us. It matters to our church, our families. Gods plan for us never ends. To repent is to turn and go the other direction. To stay in the will of God means to always be going against the grain. The reward is worth it.

We need to be knowledgable and aware of the Pharisee mentality, and even more careful not the adopt it into our own lives. Be aware of false teaching, half truths are still false.

David wasn't called an Apostolic, but when he brought the ark to the city of Jerusalem the way God wanted, he stopped and sacrificed and danced unto God with all his might. He didn't care who was watching. Even his wife made fun of him. When it comes praising God, we should not care who is watching or what they are going to say. God Deserves Our Praise without reservation.

We need to dhow love to God and to others and our fellow brothers and sisters. Love trumps everything.

God has a place to serve for every one. We must stay in alignment with Him so we can be led, and He will reveal that service position to us.

God gave Noah the plans to build the ark. Noah had to decide to build the boat. God didn't force Noah to build the ark. God had the plan. Others could have and may have made a boat for themselves, but it wasn't the way God designed it. Man can come up with a good plan, but if it's not God's way, that plan won't last. God gave us a way of salvation, but if people try to do it their own way it will not work....EVER.

Paul was telling the church to pay tithe and give in offerings and love your fellow brothers and sisters.

Jesus seeks to dwell in us. We can allow His Holy Spirt to guide us and renew us daily.

We need to allow Jesus to speak to our hearts, to transform us daily. Lord let us see others the way you do. Let be more sensitive to feel what you feel and love like you love.

There is a lot to unpack in the last half of this chapter. Some wasn't sure that Christ died or not. If he didn't die and rise again then our faith is in vain. He did die and rise again that is why we are able to get the Holy Ghost. He is coming back for his Church. If you don't have the Holy Ghost now is your chance before He comes again

Identity in christ is the biblical truth that a believer's ultimate worth, purpose, and definition come from what Jesus accomplished on the cross.

When Joseph was growing up he had some dreams. God took Joseph through somethings to use him the way he wanted to use him, but those things took time.

Paul explains to the church how they should keep things in order. One must read and study the whole context of these scriptures to be fully informed.

God sets us apart, He prunes us to where we can produce more fruit for His purpose. We should be producing fruit in every season of life, and be continually examining our branches for true fruit. Every branch that does not bear fruit, He will prune. And He will prune fruit bearing branches also, that can sometime be painful and we have to trust in Him and His purpose for our life.

Ridicule involves the act of mockery. Do not surround yourself people who ridicule God. He sets an example for us, God resists the proud. When we humble ourselves it gets us closer to Him and allows us to more closely see others the way He sees them, through love.

We must have that agape love that Jesus has toward us.

The children of Israel were free from Egypt physically, but mentally, they were not. Anytime something difficult arose they wanted to go back to bondage because they knew some things were provided. God didn't set us free to go back to the sin that had us bond. There is no security in bondage.

There are many times in the bible that God/Jesus met a specific person on purpose not just have an encounter with that person, but to redirect their lives. Jesus wants to meet you where you are and give you an encounter that you won't forget so your life can be changed.....
