Stay connected with us at americangroundradio.com, on Facebook, and Instagram. You're listening to American Ground Radio with Stephen Parr and Louis R. Avallone. This is the full show for February 20, 2026. 0:30 Today, we reflect on the life and legacy of Jesse Jackson — civil rights leader, founder of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, two-time presidential candidate, and a man who undeniably shaped America’s political and cultural conversation for decades. But the debate today isn’t about whether he mattered. It’s about whether he meets the historic threshold for one of the nation’s highest ceremonial honors: lying in honor in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda. After Mike Johnson declined a request to grant that distinction, critics cried partisanship. We slow the conversation down and ask a deeper question: What is the standard? The Rotunda is reserved for figures deemed central to the constitutional story of the United States — a rare honor previously extended to individuals such as Rosa Parks, Billy Graham, and even Pierre Charles L'Enfant. So where is the line between influence and national consensus? Between impact and constitutional significance? We discuss Jackson’s contributions, his controversies, and the broader principle at stake: preserving the Rotunda as sacred civic space — not a stage for popularity or partisanship. 9:30 Plus, we cover the Top 3 Things You Need to Know. The US Supreme Court struck down President Trump's use of Tariffs without congressional authorization. The United States and Indonesia finalized a bilateral trade agreement today that will lower tariffs between the two countries to 19%. Jesse Jackson's body will not lie in state under the Capital Rotunda.Jackson's family had requested that his body be allowed to lie in state, but that request was denied by Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson. 12:30 Get Prodovite Plus from Victory Nutrition International for 20% off. Go to vni.life/agr and use the promo code AGR20. 13:00 The Supreme Court of the United States handed down a 6–3 decision striking down President Donald Trump’s tariffs imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA). The Court made clear: that particular statute can’t be used as the vehicle for those tariffs. But that didn’t end the story. Within hours, the administration pivoted — announcing a new 10% tariff under the Trade Act of 1974, a separate law that explicitly grants the president temporary tariff authority. In fact, even members of the Court noted there are other statutory paths available. So what are we witnessing — constitutional chaos or constitutional chess? 16:00 We got a question for the American Mamas: “I’m so glad I grew up in the ’80s. How can you keep up with all the trends today?” It sparks a lively (and hilarious) walk down memory lane as Teri Netterville and Kimberly Burleson join us to compare the universal “just knew it” culture of the 1980s with today’s lightning-fast, social-media-driven world. From slang that changes overnight to the pressure of documenting everything online, we explore how growing up before smartphones may have been a hidden blessing. The conversation turns to modern milestones — over-the-top weddings, pricey bachelorette trips, elaborate gender reveals — and how platforms like TikTok and Twitter have transformed private celebrations into public productions. What used to be punch, mints, and a phone call has become curated content and camera-ready moments. It’s a funny, relatable look at generational shifts, cultural pressure, and why some of us are grateful our most embarrassing moments weren’t captured in 4K. Got a question for the American Mamas? Visit americangroundradio.com/mamas and click “Ask the Mamas.” 23:00 President Donald Trump has directed the Secretary of Defense and other agencies to begin identifying and releasing government files related to UFOs, unidentified aerial phenomena, and any potential information connected to extraterrestrial life. Laugh if you want — but for years, trained Navy and Air Force pilots have reported aerial objects performing maneuvers that appear to defy conventional aerodynamics. These aren’t backyard videos or internet hoaxes. They’re encounters documented by military aviators asking a serious question: what exactly are we seeing? We explore the long shadow of Area 51, Cold War-era secrecy, and how government disinformation about experimental aircraft may have fueled decades of alien speculation. We also separate fact from fiction when it comes to so-called “chemtrails” versus ordinary condensation trails — and why conspiracy theories persist. 26:00 Florida Governor Ron DeSantis traveled to Kentucky this week with a bold message: Congress won’t fix itself — and it’s time for the states to step in. Testifying before Kentucky lawmakers, DeSantis urged them to support an Article V constitutional convention aimed at passing a Balanced Budget Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. With the national debt approaching $40 trillion, he argued that without permanent structural changes, Washington’s “muscle memory” of spending and compromise will continue — no matter which party is in power. We Dig Deep into break down how an Article V convention works, why 34 states are required to trigger it, and where the effort currently stands. Twenty states have already signed on — mostly Republican-led — but even if every remaining red state joined, supporters would still need buy-in from purple or Democrat-led legislatures. 32:00 Get Performlyte from Victory Nutrition International for 20% off. Go to vni.life/agr and use the promo code AGR20. 32:30 A social media post from Congressman Randy Fine has gone viral — and sparked a firestorm. Fine responded to comments tied to New York political circles suggesting restrictions on dogs in public housing, referencing concerns rooted in Islamic views that consider dogs unclean. Fine pushed back bluntly, arguing that if Americans were ever forced to choose between their pets and accommodating religious restrictions, it wouldn’t be a difficult decision. Critics immediately labeled the remarks Islamophobic. Supporters say the point wasn’t about religion — it was about culture, assimilation, and whether American traditions should bend to accommodate beliefs that conflict with everyday life in the U.S. In this segment, we unpack the controversy, the statistics behind America’s deep attachment to pets — including service and therapy dogs — and the broader debate over cultural expectations in a free society. We also discuss Fine’s proposed “Protecting Puppies from Sharia Act” and what it symbolizes in the larger conversation about immigration, religious freedom, and preserving American norms. 35:30 Plus, it's Fake News Friday! From cowboys and Gavin Newsom's dyslexia, to the airport being named after President Trump can you spot the fake news? Play along, keep score, and share your results with us on Facebook page: facebook.com/AmericanGroundRadio. 39:30 We talk about Supreme Court’s 6–3 ruling on presidential tariff authority and what it means for the balance of power in Washington. When former Vice President Mike Pence praised the decision as a win for the Constitution, was it a straightforward defense of separation of powers—or a subtle jab at Donald Trump? And we end today's show with the powerful Olympic story of Alysa Liu—an American gold medal victory with international intrigue and a reminder of the opportunities and freedoms that define the American dream. The Warren Commission hearings were notably disrupted by Margarite Oswald, who demanded subpoena rights and insisted on her son's innocence, providing the Commission with a clear view of the chaotic psychological environment that shaped Lee.

(This podcast was previously published on February 17, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Unless the truth is revealed to us by God, we know nothing. For centuries people in church groups have "speculated" about antichrist. But only when God shows us something do we have truth that does not fail. God began speaking to me about antichrist in 1982. God used specific scriptures to teach me by HIS Holy Spirit. II Thessalonians 2:3-4 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. God said to me: "The falling away are not people leaving the church groups. The falling away are the churches leaving specific scriptures ... and when that happens, antichrist moves into that church group." * Antichrist is a spirit that operates inside the church group through ministers and congregations ... so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. In the NASB, we see the following: 6-8 And you know what restrains him now, so that he will be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is removed. 8 Then that lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will eliminate with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; (God had called the word "restraint" to my mind in approximately 2017. I found this scripture in II Thessalonians 2:6 NASB.) I said to God: "What restrains him?" The Holy Spirit said to me: "The scriptures restrain antichrist and when portion of scriptures are removed, the door opens for antichrist to come into the church group." I saw immediately: Jesus is "The Word". When Jesus, The Word, the holy scriptures are removed in part from the church group, the restraint holding antichrist back is removed and antichrist moves into that church group. Antichrist tried to move into the churches during the day of the apostle John, but when that church held fast to doctrines of Christ, antichrist left that church group. I John 2:18-19 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. (Not just one antichrist but many antichrists.) 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. The terrible fate for those persons in churches who cast aside portions of scripture: II Thessalonians 2:10-12 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. ***** Antichrist was already sitting among the elders in the church at Ephesus when Paul warned them as follows: Acts 20 17 And from Miletus he (Paul) sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church. 18 And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons, 19 Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews: 20 And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house, 21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. 22 And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: 23 Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me. 24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. 25 And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more. 26 Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. 27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. 28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which HE hath purchased with HIS own blood. 29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. The following scripture also shows how concerned Paul was about false doctrines moving into the churches: (Paul says to Timothy) I Timothy 1:3 As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine, I Timothy 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; II Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: Romans 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. They had no New Testament Bibles at the time Paul spoke to the church of Romans but Paul had personally taught them the doctrine of Christ and Paul is warning them to follow that doctrine which they had been taught by him and to avoid the people who went in an opposite way ... opposite to the doctrine of Christ is antichrist. II Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; Titus 1:9 (Concerning those appointed as elders in the church) Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. (Antichrist was just waiting to rise up speaking perverse doctrines in those churches of Paul's day and he warned them to continue in the "sound doctrine" which he, Paul, had taught them.) I Timothy 4:16 (Paul speaking to Timothy) Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee. (Paul had taught them the doctrines of Christ which appear for us later in the New Testament Bible.) II Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. Paul speaking to the church: I Corinthians 4:17 For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church. (No New Testament Bibles at that time.) Paul speaks concerning what they were to do when they gathered as the church: I Corinthians 14:26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying. I Timothy 4:6 If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained. (Timothy learned doctrine from Paul.) II Timothy 2:2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. And the Holy Spirit teaches each of us and that doctrine will be in agreement with the doctrine which Paul learned from the Holy Spirit of God and taught to the church. I John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of HIM abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in HIM. *** And Paul said to the church of the Galatians: Galatians 1 6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. (We see antichrist was already working among this church group to bring them another doctrine.) 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. 10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. 11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. 12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Jesus has a plan for each of us to overcome the things of this world. Becoming holy through His ways will help us to draw others near to Him.
ADVENT WEEK ONE: HOPENovember 30 F. Douglas Powe Jr., PhDHope is Predicated on TruthJohn 18:36-37Jesus answered, “You say that I am a King. For this I was born and for this Icame into the world to testify to the truth.” John 18:37bJesus shares with Pilate that he was “born and came into the world… to testi-fy to the truth.” As Christians our hope during advent is in anticipating Jesus'reign that looks nothing like what this world has seen. Jesus' word choiceabout testifying to the truth should give us all pause.Do we see our own missions like Jesus' of testifying to the truth? Not the con-venient answers being promoted by various interests around us, but the truth.Testifying to the truth seems more challenging today because what I may seeas the obvious truth to someone else is perceived as a political agenda. Thistext reminds us that hope is not a made-up belief, but is in fact predicated onthe hard work of testifying to the truth. This requires consistently seeking the truth even when we may not like whatwe learn. It means testifying to the truth which will put us at odds with otherswho prefer the truth to stay hidden. This advent season, as we anticipate the arrival of Jesus, our hope shouldbe predicated on testifying to the truth as Jesus did when facing Pilate. In aworld where we easily dismiss the truth or want to manipulate the truth, testi-fying to the truth of our hope in Jesus' reign being different from anything thisworld has ever seen or experienced is a part of our calling as Christians. Join hosts Rolf Jacobson and Kathryn Schifferdecker as they welcome Karoline Lewis, Luther Seminary's resident Gospel of John expert, for the first episode in John's gospel year. This timely discussion explores John 1:19-34, perfect for the first Sunday after Christmas and sermon preparation for the Narrative Lectionary. In this episode, the hosts unpack John the Baptist's crucial role as witness rather than baptizer in the Fourth Gospel. Unlike the synoptic gospels, John presents the Baptist not as Elijah or "the prophet," but as one who testifies to Jesus's identity. Caroline Lewis illuminates how John 1:29's declaration—"Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world"—reveals a profound theological distinction: in John's gospel, "sin" isn't a moral category but describes separation from God. My hope is that, by learning to recognize how physicians interface with injustice in systems early in their training, learners will be better prepared to navigate and, when necessary, defy these systems throughout their careers. Your testimony is not just personal; it's powerful. It's one of the greatest weapons God has given you against the enemy. The saints in Revelation didn't overcome through strength or status, but by the blood of the lamb, the word of their testimony, and a surrendered life. Join Lester Villatoro in Revelation 12 as he introduces a new sermon series.
In this episode, we sit down with Chris Wysopal (aka Weld Pond), co-founder of the legendary L0pht Heavy Industries and CTO/co-founder of Veracode. Chris takes us on a journey from programming BASIC on cassette tapes in the 1970s, through the golden age of BBS culture and phreaking, to testifying before the U.S. Senate as one of the first hackers to bring security concerns to Capitol Hill. You'll hear the untold story of an early penetration test gone spectacularly right—involving command injection, a manhole fire, voicemail hacking, and one very confused executive wondering why hackers wanted a Winnebago. Chris shares what it was like building the first hacker space in America, the challenges of turning hacking from hobby to business, and why creating a new security category took over a decade.

Hi, I'm John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you're listening to Share Life Today. Jim Sanders, Executive Vice President of Ambassador Advertising, shared about how He has seen God's faithfulness in his own life, “God's blessing has been beyond anything I could have imagined. In between, we started a satellite delivery company called Ambos. And it's clear based on who I am and who we are, that God's hand was in it every step of the way.” Through Ambos, God used Jim and his team to help Christian radio grow—pushing Gospel content to stations around the world. Jim could see God's hand in it all. And the same is true in our lives. When we look back, we see God's faithfulness—how He's guided and transformed us since we placed our trust in Him alone. And sharing our “God stories” can open doors to Gospel conversations. So today, tell someone how God's been faithful to you—and then share the Good News. FAITH IS… with Pastor Rick Stevens – Telling the truth is never easy, but it's always worth it. Even when honesty is dangerous or rejected, we are called to speak boldly, just as John did in Revelation and Jesus before him. Truth may be uncomfortable, yet it leads to freedom and joy, for in the end, God's kingdom prevails and His truth reigns forever...

Donna Adelson Wants to Testify — Will It Save Her or Destroy Her? Donna Adelson — the 73-year-old matriarch accused of conspiring to murder her former son-in-law, FSU law professor Dan Markel — is reportedly considering taking the stand in her own defense. It's a move that could either sway jurors in her favor… or seal her fate. In this episode of Hidden Killers, we dive deep into the psychology, the evidence, and the high-stakes gamble of putting Donna on the witness stand. Why would a defendant facing first-degree murder, conspiracy, and solicitation charges want to testify? Is it about control, image, or the belief she can out-talk the prosecution? We break down the hard evidence prosecutors would hammer her with: the infamous million-dollar relocation bribe offer, her alleged threats to use religion against Dan in a custody battle, phone calls on the day of the murder linking her directly to Charlie Adelson and convicted go-between Katherine Magbanua, a year-long stream of signed checks to Magbanua from the Adelson dental practice, and her reaction to the FBI's “bump” operation that hinted at her direct involvement. Testifying would give Donna a rare chance to speak directly to jurors, but it would also open the door for a brutal cross-examination. We explore how her history as the family's decision-maker and “fixer” could play both for and against her — and why traits that look like confidence can, under pressure, read as arrogance or manipulation. From legal strategy to behavioral profiling, this is the full breakdown of why Donna Adelson's possible testimony could become the defining moment of her trial. Baker YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/live/V_gRWoUtPKY A hearing was held on August 5th, which was intended to continue the evidentiary portion of the motion to dismiss for the Myles King Murder Case, but this did not happen. Instead, the court requested the defense and prosecution to collaboratively create a comprehensive list of all evidence, when it was turned over, and which items are considered prejudicial by the defense. This is complicated by the fact that the prosecution did not consistently bate stamp documents. Another significant issue is the ongoing delay in receiving discovery related to Former Trooper Michael Proctor's text messages, which are relevant to five cases, including the Myles King case. The court is waiting for federal authorities to release this discovery. The defense is frustrated by the continuous "dripping faucet" of new discovery, making it difficult to prepare their case. The bar for dismissing a case due to discovery failures in Massachusetts is high, and typically, the remedy is to grant more time for trial. The Karen Read case has brought attention to this widespread issue of lingering discovery in Massachusetts cases. The next hearing for the Myles King case is scheduled for August 12th at 2pmET, where the judge will continue to try and clarify the specific evidence at issue for the motion to dismiss. Neither Adam Lally nor Proctor testified on August 5th, and they are not expected to testify on August 12th either.
