We take a fresh look at a classic movie, long-running TV show, or legendary performer through the eyes of someone discovering it for the very first time. Each episode, a different guest describes their first encounter with one of these classics. Does it hold up? Should it still have "classic" status? What took you so long?

Ten years after this was recorded, I was working with him the the ABC Radio Network Newsroom in NYC. Bonus Bonus Bonus info: our collective memory is that a very young Tom Hanks was also on that same show promoting Bosom Buddies. I can't verify it but my dad and I both remember it that way so it must be true. (iTunes is weird sometimes and I'll find things mysteriously deleted. I recovered the full interview on a backup drive and reposted it with the additional content.)

A listener gave a shout out to "Hotties" a while back. If you don't know (and nobody should know anything about these movies), Hotties I & II are two flat-out awful movies that I was in back in 2005. It's cheap exploitation and all of us were suckered in by the listing which promised lots of improv. Well, I was 7 years deep into my improv journey and easily lured in. The whole experience and the final product are one collective dumpster fire, but it gave me a friend in Rick Younger. I force him to walk down this rancid memory lane with me just this once.
