Judge not lest ye be Judge Reinhold. I think it says that somewhere in the Bible or maybe Robert McKee’s Story. Anyhoo, Vicky Van, Eric Fell and Jason Dedrick are back to talk about their memories of 1984’s Beverly Hills Cop. Will they forget to talk about Bronson Pinchot? Don’t be ridiculous. As a nod to Pinchot’s Serge, the hosts enjoy an Espresso Martini with Lemon. Also since it’s a buddy movie, they will also dine on A & W Buddy Burgers. But we’re just Neutron Dancing around the real issue, did they make a tribute drink? Yes! The Banana in the Tailpipe. Want to make it? Add to blender: One cup of milk (dairy or otherwise) One half cup of ice One banana (ideally frozen) One ounce of Kahlua Blend, pour into a tumbler and garnish with a slice of banana Review from producer’s wife: Totally awesome. Like visiting a mall in the ’80s and getting a better version of an Orange Julius. If you make The Banana in the Tailpipe or, better yet, make up a drink of your own, please send a picture to sneakyd@sneakydragon.com by following this link! Even if you don’t, we’d still love to hear from you. Also let us know what you think of the show and if you have any suggestions for future films. Got kinda warm yesterday! Looking at even warmer temps in the forecast today with a high of 83° expected. In the news this morning, a University of Wisconsin scientist allegedly tried to poison a coworker, Dave Mason of "Traffic" is dead at age 79, a man has been charged in connection with the deadly shooting in Louisiana earlier this week, researchers believe they have more evidence of the location of Noah's Ark, and a recall on thousands of Harley-Davidsons. In sports, the Brewers got a big win over Detroit last night, a recap of last night's NBA & NHL Playoff scores, plus…Wemby suffers a concussion…and a delay during the Kings game because of broken glass. Former Badger John Blackwell is headed to Duke, and Mike Vrabel finally speaks to the media. We talked about what's on TV today/tonight and what we've been watching lately. Plus, Jeopardy is getting another spin-off! Today is Earth Day, so make sure you do something nice for the planet, okay? A utility worker is being praised for saving a child's life after he saved the kid from wandering into traffic on a busy road. And check out these lucky students who got a very special ride to their prom last weekend. In another edition of "One Gotta Go Wednesday", we picked which buddy cop franchise can be eliminated from this group: Lethal Weapon. Beverly Hills Cop. Bad Boys. Rush Hour. Elsewhere in sports, the latest on the upcoming NFL draft, former Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin will have a new gig this fall, Billy Donovan is out in Chicago, and a breakdown of the WrestleMania stats that have a lot of people pissed off! Yesterday, we learned that Grant Bilse doesn't know how to polka, so we decided to come up with a list of questions to ask him next Tuesday to determine how "Wisco" he truly is. The Cleveland Cavaliers have an extremely interesting on-court game involving a leaf-blower. ¿Quieres ayudarnos a seguir mejorando y creciendo? Clay Edwards turns a laid-back Friday into a full-on 80s movie nostalgia fest, trading serious rants for pure fun as listeners, callers, and texters battle it out over the best films of the decade that actually got sequels. The conversation explodes with classics flying left and right: Rocky III (Clubber Lang vs. the eye of the tiger), Die Hard (the ultimate Christmas debate), Lethal Weapon, Predator, Terminator, Porky's (a rite-of-passage favorite for keeping teenage boys straight), Eddie and the Cruisers (Clay's dark-horse pick, with the sequel edging out the original), Revenge of the Nerds, Back to the Future, 48 Hrs., Beverly Hills Cop, National Lampoon's Vacation series, Airplane!, Police Academy, Gremlins, The Blues Brothers, Nightmare on Elm Street, and many more. Clay breaks down why the 80s produced so many quotable, timeless lines—“I'll be back,” “Surely you can't be serious,” “Yippee-ki-yay,” “Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads”—that still live rent-free in people's heads, while modern blockbusters rarely deliver anything half as memorable. He reflects on how the decade nailed high-testosterone action, raunchy comedy, and feel-good escapism without forcing agendas down anyone's throat. The segment turns interactive with real-time call-ins and texts dropping favorites (Top Gun, Rambo, Young Guns, and honorable mentions like The Lost Boys sequels and even American Pie as a spiritual successor), plus Clay's own cheat-code additions and why he'd take Porky's over most “manosphere” content for teaching young guys life lessons the old-fashioned way. Expect laughs, heated (but friendly) debates, FOMO over forgotten gems, and Clay's signature take: the 80s was peak movie-making—prove him wrong. A perfect, light-hearted wind-down to the week filled with zero politics and maximum vibes. Grab some popcorn, cue the synth soundtrack, and relive the decade that gave us the movies we still quote today.

On this week's Breaking Sports with Yarbs & Will, the guys thaw out from a surprise snow and dive straight into a wild slate: Indiana–Penn State's toe-tap classic (was that Francisco Mendoza's Heisman moment?) and a spirited side rant on Gus Johnson going full Nic Cage; why Texas A&M might secretly be No. 1 while the ACC keeps eating itself; USC's jersey-swap fake-punt loophole; and LSU's Brian Kelly mess, buyout brinkmanship, and statehouse drama. They unpack the growing prop-bet scandal (why college props might be first on the chopping block), then hit Sports STAT: Cade Cunningham's 45 on 45 shots, a Browns-Jets stat unicorn, and Philly's turnover stinginess. Pop-culture pit stop: a new Eddie Murphy doc sparks a “3-on-3” of their favorite Eddie films (Beverly Hills Cop, Trading Places, Coming to America and more). The Get Off My Lawn duo goes at the NBA's new USA vs. World All-Star format and the habit of gold-jacket-ing QBs after five good games. Finally: Panthers-Saints autopsy (does Dave Canales trust Bryce Young?), plus whether late-season Thursday nighters should exist at all. It's jokes, receipts, and rants—STAT.

RUNDOWN   Episode 344 of Mitch Unfiltered opens with a humorous lament over the nonexistence of a 344 area code and quickly shifts into cultural reflection—from Morgan Wallen's massive Seattle shows to a heartfelt tribute to late jazz musician Chuck Mangione. Mitch and Hotshot Scott marvel at Ichiro Suzuki's eloquent, humorous, and emotional Hall of Fame speech, calling it mesmerizing and long overdue. Mitch and Hotshot dig into the Mariners' playoff hopes and trade deadline calculus. They debate the potential impact of acquiring Gino Suarez—Seattle fan favorite and current Diamondbacks slugger—and analyze Josh Naylor's recent addition to the lineup. Investment advisor and father of four, John Wasnock of North Bend, WA, stunned the poker world by finishing second in the 2025 World Series of Poker Main Event, earning a $6 million prize. A lifelong poker hobbyist and devoted Mariners fan, Wasnock's dream run began as a bucket-list entry and ended in financial freedom — allowing him and his wife to retire and focus on family. Despite losing a pivotal hand on the river, Wasnock played with composure and integrity, becoming a beloved underdog in the process. Brady Farkas joins Mitch Unfiltered to reflect on Ichiro Suzuki's powerful, funny, and fully English Hall of Fame speech in Cooperstown—calling it the best he's heard. Despite the celebratory weekend, the Mariners' on-field play disappointed, as they went 3–4 and squandered chances to gain ground in the playoff race. Trade deadline buzz surrounds players like Luke Raley and Geno Suarez, while Julio Rodríguez and Cal Raleigh give fans reasons to stay hopeful. Mitch and Jason Puckett (aka "Puck") dive into Chapter 10 of KJAren'ts, with plenty of laughs and commentary. Mitch shares how cohost Hotshot Scott somehow always has the perfect contact—including a North Bend native who just won $6 million as runner-up at the World Series of Poker. They also unpack the Seahawks' surprise release of Noah Fant and speculate on Seattle's thin wide receiver room heading into the season.   GUESTS   John Wasnock | Financial Investment Advisor Turned Poker Sensation Brady Farkas | Host, Refuse to Lose Podcast (Mariners on SI) Jason Puckett | Radio Host, KJ-Aren'ts & PuckSports.com   TABLE OF CONTENTS   0:00 | Ichiro's Hall of Fame Speech, North Bend Poker Star, and a Chuck Mangione Tribute Mark 26:08 | Mariners Trade Deadline Math, Gino's Bat, and a Poker Cinderella from North Bend 41:00 | GUEST: John Wasnock; North Bend Dad Wins $6M, Finishes Second at World Series of Poker. 1:09:43 | GUEST: Mariners No-Table, Brady Farkas; Ichiro Shines in Cooperstown, Mariners Struggle on the Field 1:41:00 | GUEST: KJ-Aren'ts [Jason Puckett] Seattle Poker Cinderella, Seahawks Cuts, and the Marvel That Is Hotshot 1:56:03 | Other Stuff Segment: Adam Sandler's Netflix relationship and comedy legacy, Carl Weathers' intended involvement before his passing, Netflix's approach to greenlighting sequels (e.g., Beverly Hills Cop, Hubie Halloween), Seahawks Training Camp 2025 opens at VMAC, Kenny McIntosh injury (likely ACL, out for season), Washington Commanders stadium deal at old RFK site and political implications (President's statement about renaming to Redskins), Will Levis shoulder surgery; Cam Ward to start for Titans, Shilo Sanders (son of Deion) gets no first-team reps in Browns camp but takes the high road, Scotty Scheffler's British Open win, TaylorMade under fire for Photoshopping Scheffler's hairline in post-win ad, John Daly appearances at Augusta Hooters ended due to Hooters bankruptcy/closure, Barry Bonds' 756th home plate auctioned ($132,000), Cubs fan falls into net trying to get a home run ball at Wrigley Field, Bill Self (Kansas basketball coach) recovering after heart surgery, Caitlin Clark's rookie card sells for $660,000, most ever for a women's sports card, Uber launches “Women Preferred” mode for drivers and riders for added safety, Chuck E. Let's do the Dance of Joy as the gang digs deeper into the TGIF-verse to hang with our distant cousin from Mypos - Balki Bartokomous (a.k.a. the legendary Bronson Pinchot)! Bronson shares stories from his iconic roles in “Beverly Hills Cop," “Risky Business” and “True Romance," but also opens up about the challenge of playing silly characters when in reality…not everything is silly. A Friday night neighbor on "Perfect Strangers" AND "Step By Step," he details how he's become an absolute powerhouse in audiobooks and how he responds when someone KINDA recognizes him. Grab a seat, because Bronson Pinchot is chatting on a brand new Pod Meets World... Follow @podmeetsworldshow on Instagram and TikTok!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
