Dr. Andrea Woodson-Smith is a professor at North Carolina Central University, specializing in adaptive physical activity and sports and physical education pedagogy. Her resiliency following a career-ending injury ultimately paid off, finding her way back into the game of basketball and filling a void of competition. She played for coach Shelia Moorman and the Dukes from 1990-93.

Lindsay Collingwood ('00) left a lasting impression on the JMU volleyball program. A four-time first-team selection in the Colonial Athletic Association, she ended her career and still holds JMU records for career kills and attempts and service aces, among others.
