In season one of New Dad's Guide to being a Zaddy we spoke with Sam Stahl about basic approaches dads could use to feel more confident styling their hair. For part two we knew we had to have Sam back but also knew we had to go bigger. So we brought back another fan favorite Katelyn Bendix from our single mom episode to help go through Uncle Tickles closet and find the heat and skeletons. Katelyn uses her years as an ultra successful stylist to some of Hollywoods elite to help elevate the dad look to a new level. In today's episode of New Dad we speak with Keith Gessen about his newest book Raising Raffi. Keith was raised in Russia, has written for the New Yorker and Atlantic, teaches at Columbia University's prestigious graduate school of journalism, and most importantly is the father of two wonderful boys. In today's interview we talk a lot about his book Raising Raffi and why I felt it resonated with me and explore what it means to be today's New Dad. Keith is exceptionally intelligent and well spoken in one of New Dad's best episodes yet.

We are joined by gun violence prevention activist Megan Kavarkis in our latest episode. We talk about what and where you can get involved, misconceptions about gun violence, and hear some of Megan's experiences working with both law makers as well as the loved ones of victims to gun violence.
