We traveled to the Northeast last Summer for our Maine Summer Series, and met the wonderful people at Pemaquid Mussel Farms! We were so excited to help bring their mussels to the Midwest, and had them for about 6 months, before their harvesting barge (Mumbles) sunk during a storm! BIG NEWS! We are starting a farm here at Mistwood Golf Club...and it's going to have dozens of different vegetables we can utilize inside McWethy's Tavern. We can't wait to host farm to table events here on the property. We also have nearly a dozen beehives, where we'll be sourcing our very own honey. The person who will oversee the operation and literal growth, is our new Sustainability Specialist, Angelica Carmen.
