Morning Prayer from the Agpeya, commemorating the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, the true Sun of Righteousness.

At the third hour of the day (9am), the Holy Spirit rested upon the Apostles in the form of fiery tongues (Acts 2:15). At this hour also, Our Lord Jesus Christ was condemned to be crucified.

The First Hour is prayed early in the morning, and commemorates the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, the true Sun of Righteousness.
