For the first time ever, the cast of the Clanfire steps into Planegea proper to play their first session of Death on the Lake, the unreleased adventure written and ran by the author of the Planegea campaign setting, David Somerville! Join Daniel Gable, Zoë Edwards, Avalon Palmer, and Adam Beckwith as the intrepid adventurers Ano, Petrovia, Thystre and Lock begin their journey in the lake town of Fishgather. The tale begins thus: Ask anyone from Fishgather why the depths of Bitewater Lake glow green-gray at night and you'll hear six different stories. Some say the lake light is caused by drowned ghosts, others that it's from magical fish, or a submerged god, or powerful crystals, or anything else a storyteller might imagine. The truth is that nobody knows its source; or if they do, they're not telling. And so, people stop asking. After all, with a black dragon prowling in the marshes nearby, the Stone Empire just up the slopes, and winter sharpening its tusks every year, who has time to worry about a little glimmer deep under the water? Hogga the Unlucky certainly isn't concerned about the lakelight tonight. That unfortunate fisherman is only thinking about the hulking, leathery monster tangled up in his fishing nets… and the reward that such a strange prize might fetch him if he can only manage to haul it in.
