To achieve the highest success in life by becoming a gosvāmī and then a pure devotee of the Lord, one must follow the instructions known as Upadeśāmṛta, which have been given by Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī. Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī has given many other books, such as Bhakti-rasāmṛta-sindhu, Vidagdha-mādhava and Lalita-mādhava, but Upadeśāmṛta constitutes the first instructions for neophyte devotees. One should follow these instructions very strictly. Then it will be easier to make one's life successful. Hare Kṛṣṇa. How do we begin to understand the division and the chaos that surrounds us? Lisa continues the conversation today with the founder of the Institute for Sacred Activism Andrew Harvey. Andrew is a religious scholar, mystical teacher, and author of more than 40 books, and discusses how to birth the new in times of extreme turbulence.   He explains how the response to chaos is to become more luminous yourself. Find deeper and deeper energy and compassion within yourself and respond from calm and spaciousness. A lighter perspective can deconstruct the narrative. You must change your consciousness. You can only do that when you recognize you are Divine. Your emotions are sacred. These are the gifts of the Sacred Feminine. This is the Law of the Universe. The feminine teaches us how to open to love, while the masculine helps us to structure that love. This gives us power.    Andrew shares how he's been working on his book for several decades and intensely for the past several years. His research, which included very credible sources, helped him to open up connections. He shared a story of finally being able to write the Preface of the book and the marriage of Jesus and Mary Magdalene. After he wrote it, he went to breakfast. Upon his return, he found his condo engulfed in flames. He lost absolutely everything including his most beloved feline. It was the hardest suffering he had ever experienced. This was less than one year ago. It completely transformed his life. Andrew talks about how he felt like he had died but then was resurrected. He felt calm after this experience. It opened the door to new possibilities. We are currently living in a severe dark night, but this is what Andrew believes is part of what will give birth to a divine new humanity. We can all become warriors of the new. We now have the chance to change and transform, by working with our self first. This is pure alchemy. We can now recognize the truth and be a source of inspiration. This is Part 2 of the interview. Info: www.andrewharvey.net

The tricky thing about writing books is that they are all based on ideas, and many of our ideas will either change over time or be misunderstood. Since I first published this saga, both of these possibilities have occurred. Here I explain what led me to insert a preface in the Scroll books and why it matters. Take a listen.

1 hour, 4 minutes (Released: February 26, 2018 / Recorded: February 3, 2018) In this episode of WEBurlesque The Podcast, Viktor Devonne interviews Attica Wilde, a New Jersey based producer and burlesque performer. Attica Wilde passed away in March 2026 in a senseless act of violence.  We re-upload this episode in her memory, reminding us to remember her energy, style, and hope for the future. Attica starts off by talking about her own humble beginnings as a performer and how she can't get rid of the video evidence entirely no matter how much she tries:  "I wasn't even supposed to perform; I was supposed to be a stage kitten. And the week before, [the producer] was like 'Hey, so I have an opening, come up with two acts.' And I already kind of had one with a giant coffin because I never do anything small, so I said ok and I did them and they still exist on the internet." Along with being a producer and performer, Attica is also a burlesque teacher. She goes on to talk about some of the tips she gives her students and how she is tired of everyone doing acts to the same old burlesque classics: "Don't always pick the obvious choice. I tell that to my students a lot… If it's an obvious choice that you've already seen someone else do… It's really hard… as a newbie to be like let me reimagine this completely." From there, Attica recounts her time as the producer of the classical review Smoke and Mirrors and why she decided to go in that direction when it was created and what led her to eventually realizing she wanted to get out: "At the time, it felt to me there was a gap to what we offered here in Jersey in terms of styles of burlesque…there wasn't really any classical here… I thought that was the easiest way to make my mark…One of the many reasons [my show] Smoke and Mirrors isn't around anymore is that I found it very confining…and I didn't have room or space to be more creative or to cast the more creative or weird out there things." Attica is recovering from back surgery and is slowing getting back into performing after having to recover. She recounts why she had to get the back surgery in the first place and why it was so hard to receive the care she needed: "I was in a car accident and I had cracked one of the disks in my L4, L5, like almost in half…it's the lowest part of your spine… it was one of those quiet injuries where no one believes you are actually injured because you can't see it…. I had the surgery after about a year and a half of trying everything else because I was 27 at the time and [the doctors] were like 'You are too young for back surgery.'" With all these experiences behind her, Attica finishes the podcast by reflecting on what being a burlesque performer means to her and where she sees the artform going. Society has made many strides in the past few decades, but she admits to still being insecure in her identities:  "There is an implication to being a burlesque performer and talking about it. Now, I generally don't run in circles with people that don't get it or who cast shade or look down on me for it because I just don't have time for that in my life. However, the fact that we are having more politically toned shows more obviously speaks volumes to where we are at right now and I see them all the time… [Despite the more widespread acceptance] I still have feelings of not being queer enough in queer spaces. I'm currently dating a girl and seeing a trans person and I'm still not queer enough because most of my relationships have been straight passing."

Walter Lippmann was arguably the most recognized and respected political journalist of the twentieth century. His "Today and Tomorrow" columns attracted a global readership of well over ten million. Lippmann was the author of numerous books, including the best-selling A Preface to Morals (1929) and U.S. Foreign Policy (1943). His Public Opinion (1922) remains a classic text within American political philosophy and media studies. Lippmann coined or popularized several keywords of the twentieth century, including "stereotype," the "Cold War," and the "Great Society." Sought out by U.S. Presidents and by America's allies and rivals around the world, Lippmann remained one of liberalism's most faithful proponents and harshest critics. Yet few people then or since encountered the "real" Walter Lippmann. That was because he kept crucial parts of himself hiding in plain sight. His extensive commentary on politics and diplomacy was bounded by his sense that America had to adjust to the loss of a common faith and morality in a "post-Christian" era. Over the course of his life, Lippmann traded in his fame as a happy secularist for the stardom of a grumpy Western Christian intellectual. Yet he never committed himself to any religious system, especially his own Jewish heritage. Walter Lippmann: American Skeptic, American Pastor (Oxford University Press, 2023) considers the role of religions in Lippmann's life and thought, prioritizing his affirmation and rejection of Christian nationalisms of the left and right. It also yields fresh insights into the philosophical origins of modern American liberalism, including liberalism's blind spots in the areas of sex, race, and class. But most importantly, this biography highlights the constructive power of doubt. For Lippmann, the good life in the good society was lived in irreconcilable tension: the struggle to be free from yet loyal to a way of life; to recognize the dangers yet also the necessity of civil religion; and to strive for a just and enduring world order that can never be. In the end, Lippmann manufactured himself as the prophet of limitation for an extravagant American Century. Send a textWhen the Loeb Classical Library was launched, the greatest language teacher of the age, W.H.D. Rouse, wrote an essay meant to promote the Loebs by extolling the magnificence of Greek literature and Latin literature. And boy did he. "Your mind cannot live without them. All the great intellectual impulses begin in Greece; the modern world only grows crops from the Greek seed." While Rouse admitted that his space was short, and so he had to "be dogmatic," this essay, "Machines or Mind?" is a worthy read, not least because of its response to the utilitarians who'd prefer we abandon the humanities and instead bend all of our time, effort, and resources to making more machines. One of Rouse's 21st century heirs, Senior Fellow of Classical Languages at New Saint Andrews College and founder of Picta Dicta, Timothy Griffith, joins the podcast to discuss the essay, Rouse's place in the tradition of humanist education, and whether the Aeneid can properly be called an epic.W.H.D. There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. – Hebrews 4:9 In The Saints' Everlasting Rest, Baxter pulls back the curtain on eternity, unveiling the glories prepared for those who love Christ: freedom from all evil, perfection of body and soul, unbroken communion with God, and joy that no one can take away. But while heaven is the perfection of rest, a child of God may even now have Christ's perfect peace and rest, no matter how difficult the circumstances of life may seem. With the urgency of one who experienced near death himself, Baxter pleads with his readers to take God in Christ for your only rest and to make heaven the goal and delight of every day. His stirring words – rich with Scripture, solemn warnings, and radiant hope – have led many to turn from the empty promises of this world and fix their hearts on the incorruptible inheritance kept in heaven. This edition of Baxter's signature work has been painstakingly updated, while still preserving his clarion call to live now in the delightful foretastes of heaven and to persevere until faith becomes sight and joy becomes everlasting. About the Author Richard Baxter (1615–1691) preached “as a dying man to dying men.” He was devoted to God and was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. Best known as the minister of Kidderminster in England, his love for God and others resulted in practically the entire town of Kidderminster turning to Jesus during Baxter's ministry there. Richard Baxter desired unity among Christians, which often resulted in opposition from those who held to church loyalty or theological views rather than to Christ and God's Word. Baxter had his share of persecution, even being imprisoned on several occasions.

Drawing from the life of William Tyndale, the insights of Dallas Willard, and the words of Jesus himself, John uncovers how condemnation quietly takes root among people of faith and why being “right” can slowly replace being Christlike.Today's Resources:Dallas Willard, Renovation of the HeartWilliam Tyndale, Preface to the New Testament

A spiritual and saving knowledge of God is the greatest need of every human creature. The foundation of all true knowledge of God must be a clear understanding of His attributes as revealed in Holy Scripture. An unknown God cannot be truly trusted, served, nor worshipped. In this book, an effort has been made to describe some of the principal perfections of His divine character. And if we are to truly profit from our perusal of the pages herein, we need to earnestly ask God to bless them to us, to apply His Truth to our conscience and heart, so that, by it, our lives will be transformed. We need something more than a theoretical knowledge of God. God is only truly known in the soul inasmuch as we yield ourselves to Him, submit to His authority, and regulate all the details of our lives by His holy precepts and commandments. Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord (Hosea 6:3). If any man will do His will, he shall know (John 7:17). The people that do know their God shall be strong (Daniel 11:32). About the Author Arthur Walkington Pink (1886-1952) was an influential British Christian evangelist and biblical scholar known for his profound writings and teachings on Reformed theology. Born in Nottingham, England, Pink converted to Christianity in his early twenties, and lived a life devoted to the Lord. His passion for Scripture led him to pastorates in the United States and Australia, though he is best remembered for his prolific writing. Pink's works, including The Sovereignty of God and numerous articles in his monthly magazine, Studies in the Scriptures, have had a lasting impact in the body of Christ.

CULTIVATING SAINTS, SAGES, AND STATESMEN THROUGH THE GREAT TRADITION OF CHRISTENDOMWe are very excited to finally present this episode on St. Irenaeus of Lyon, the great 2nd century Church Father (one generation removed from the Apostles) who did so much to help me convert from protestantism to the Catholic Faith.Specifically, we dive into everything he said in his great work, "Against Heresies" (written around AD 180) about the Catholic doctrine of Apostolic Succession, which says that the one true Church is governed by the successors of the Apostles, the bishops, and preeminently the successor of St. Peter, the Pope in Rome. St. Irenaeus even describes, in proto form, the infallibility of the Church, and how the Holy Spirit will always guide the Church into all truth through the successors of the Apostles.Suffice it to say, St. Irenaeus's testimony was absolutely shocking to me as a protestant, and played a huge role in my conversion to the Catholic Faith. So much of what he said about the Church's teaching remains true in the Catholic Church to this day. Likewise, much that he said about heretics and schismatics is "disturbingly similar" to protestantism to this very day.HOLIDAY GIVING OPPORTINITY FOR MONTHLY PATRONShttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FbIqyA4z6XYVISIT OUR WEBSITEhttps://eternalchristendom.com/BECOME A PATRON OF THE GREAT TRADITIONAs a non-profit, you can support our mission with a tax-deductible gift. In a culture content with mediocrity, the church is called to stand out through excellence in character, relationships, work, and worship. This message invites us to recover the Christian commitment to doing all things well—not to earn God's favor, but in response to the grace of Jesus, who has already given us His best.

Pastor Kevin launches a new study through the Gospel of Luke, beginning with Luke's clear purpose for writing: to give believers confidence in the truth about Jesus. We take a look at who Luke is and why his perspective matters, then move into the opening story of Zacharias and Elizabeth, where God quietly works through ordinary people to advance His plan. Join us as we explore the themes that shape Luke's Gospel, including Jesus' humanity, His compassion, and His attention to those often overlooked, and consider what it means to approach Scripture with openness and trust today.

Thousands have acknowledged him as their spiritual father, who it is believed, will be his joy and crown in the day of the Lord. Of these, many were called before him to their heavenly rest, and have doubtless welcomed him to their blissful society. A great number still remain, to pray and labor for Zion. Of his spiritual children, many are ministers of the gospel;

In this special episode, I'm sharing something deeply personal: a first listen to my upcoming book, “You Are Unforgettable: Build a Personal Brand That Gets You Paid.” After three years of writing, editing, and pouring everything I've learned about reinvention and personal branding into these pages, I'm proud to announce that the book officially releases December 16th on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Today, I'm bringing you the Preface, titled “Crossing The Rubicon.” It is a story about taking a leap, betting on yourself, and stepping fully into who you were meant to be. Then using that to your advantage by building a personal brand around it.  This episode is for anyone standing at that edge, ready to cross their own Rubicon. When the book releases on December 16th, I'd be incredibly grateful for your support by grabbing a copy, sharing it with a friend, and leaving a review to help spread the message. Better yet, please send this episode out to everyone you know! ✨ “You Are Unforgettable: Build a Personal Brand That Gets You Paid”

Epstein last time (15 Oct 2025) and this time we continue with the Preface and Chapter 1. Stephen Macedo published "The New Right v. The Constitution" with The CATO Institute in 1986. We're going to make a fair use and do a transformative reading of the book. He it is in whom our nature, which was debased as low as hell by apostasy from God, is exalted above the whole creation. Our nature, in the original constitution of it, in the persons of our first parents, was crowned with honour and dignity. The image of God, wherein it was made, and the dominion over the lower world wherewith it was intrusted, made it the seat of excellence, of beauty, and of glory.

As signs are performed and hearts are tested, we're reminded that God's power is greater than human pride, and His promises will stand.     Want to watch a version of this message? In this first installment of Antifascist Christianity: Black Jesus, Matthew revisits Dietrich Bonhoeffer's journey from the theological classrooms of Berlin to the Black churches of Harlem — where he encountered a Jesus entirely unlike the imperial figure of his upbringing. Bonhoeffer arrived in New York a servant of white European Christendom, and left transformed by the radical, suffering, and liberatory presence of Black Jesus. Matthew connects Bonhoeffer's awakening to today's spectacle of white nationalism in worship — from the triumphalist religion on display at Charlie Kirk's memorial to the enduring cultural power of “white Jesus” as theology for empire. Drawing on Reggie Williams's Bonhoeffer's Black Jesus, Cedric Robinson's Black Marxism, and Jeanelle Hope and Bill Mullen's The Black Antifascist Tradition, the episode traces how colonialism created a Christ built to bless domination, and how the Black church reclaimed him through solidarity, suffering, and resistance. The contrast between the fortress hymn A Mighty Fortress Is Our God and the spiritual Were You There becomes the turning point in Bonhoeffer's faith — from triumph to trembling, from power to empathy. Part 2, out Monday on Patreon, explores how liberal Christianity tried to stand between these poles, and why it failed. Show Notes Hope, Jeanelle K., and Bill V. Mullen.
