The "The Drive" with Spence Checketts podcast is a must-listen for NBA and sports fans in the Utah market. Spence consistently brings new angles and insight when it comes to discussing the NBA, going beyond the typical questions and bringing out personal histories and great NBA stories from national writers who join the show. His style of radio is unique and his interviews are always insightful and entertaining.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is Spence's ability to bring out insights and expertise about local sports that you can't get from anyone else. He is well-prepared for each show, bringing in industry insiders and sources to provide fresh takes based on actual experience and relationships. His analysis of the NBA is particularly impressive, with his knowledge and insight shining through in every episode.

Another great aspect of "The Drive" is Spence's interviewing skills. He doesn't beat around the bush and has a knack for asking thought-provoking questions that elicit honest responses from his guests. There is no schtick or focus on being funny; instead, it's all about providing informative, knowledgeable sports talk that leaves listeners feeling better informed about their favorite teams and sports.

While there aren't many negative aspects to this podcast, one potential downside could be the limited focus on teams other than the Utah Jazz or BYU. Some Ute fans may feel left out as they have to download specific segments that feature content related to their team. However, this can also be seen as a positive for fans who are primarily interested in Jazz or BYU coverage.

In conclusion, "The Drive" with Spence Checketts is hands down one of the best podcasts in the Utah market for NBA and sports fans. With his unique style of radio, insightful interviews, and extensive network of industry insiders, Spence brings a level of knowledge and talent that has been sorely missed in Utah sports radio. Whether you agree with him or not, his analysis and insights will leave you with a deeper understanding of the sports world. Give it a listen and judge for yourself!
