On today's show, Pat, AJ Hawk, and the boys chat about all the difference NCAA Conference Tournaments that are underway and how March madness is almost officially here as we've already gotten several buzzer beaters and marquee matchups across these tournaments. They also discuss how the NFL world is still awaiting Aaron Rodgers' decision, and what else is happening around the NFL. Joining the progrum to wrap up all the different free agent signings and where we stand right now with Aaron Rodgers, Cooper Kupp, and a few other players is NFL Network Senior Insider, Ian Rapoport. Later, ESPN Senior NBA Insider, Shams Charania joins the show to chat about the happenings in the NBA including Zion Williamson finally playing to the best of his capabilities, the Warriors and Cavs recent success, the Utah Jazz getting fined by the NBA for what could potentially be considered “tanking,” and Tom Thibodeau's usage of his starters and if that's going to change at all after Mikal Bridges recent comments. Make sure to subscribe to youtube.com/thepatmcafeeshow or watch on ESPN (12-2 EDT), ESPN's Youtube (12-3 EDT), or ESPN+. We appreciate the hell out of all of you. See you tomorrow. Cheers. Let the NBA Draft Lottery tanking COMMENCE! De'Aaron Fox of the San Antonio Spurs, out for the year. Paul George, likely done for the year. The Mavs, well they're not TRYING to tank but it's happening anyway because DuMont and Nico Harrison's respective visions for the Dallas Mavericks continue to blow up in their face. The Miami Heat, we can't tell if they're tanking or just plain stink. The Utah Jazz are tanking in plain sight (and getting fined for it). But there's plenty of good too -- Tom Haberstroh tells Kevin O'Connor that the Golden State Warriors are officially a "top-tier" title contender, right up there with the Cavs, Thunder and Celtics. It's all on this fresh new episode of The KOC Show.Plus, former NBA star Gordon Hayward joins Kevin O'Connor to break down Cooper Flagg's injury, and what this could mean for #1-ranked Duke's immediate future with The Tournament looming. Hayward explains how after he saw the Flagg injury, the first thing he thought of was his own gruesome ankle injury. KOC and Gordon also talk about which players for Duke will now need to step up, including Kon Knueppel. Gordon also reacts to his alma mater Butler losing on Thursday to #6 St. John's. Bibs and Reese are back in your feed to talk about basketball and movies this week. We hit a lot of topics in this one so the show notes are your friend. First, they talked about the Iman Shumpert and Teyana Taylor divorce settlement. Then they got into the Unrivaled Women's Basketball league playoffs and the NCAA tournament. It was NBA time after this. On the NBA side, they discussed the 4 teams fighting for the last play-in spots in the West. Specifically, the likelihood of Dallas remaining as the 10th seed. They went on to discuss the likelihood that the Orlando Magic turn it around by the end of the year. The team has struggled to find its footing despite having Paolo and Franz back together for some time. Our guys also took some time to discuss the Utah Jazz's future. It wasn't all about the scrubs though! The team also did a contender draft where they took turn drafting 5 teams each to battle each other for playoff supremacy. This should be fun. On the Movie side, Bibs talked about Nickel Boys, Reese talked about Mickey 17 and the pair discussed Invincible, Severance, and Daredevil: Born Again.
