The table is set, the pitching staff gives this team a solid floor, but can the offense take them to the postseason? In this episode I talk about this group of position players and what they can do this season. I talked a lot about how we should both appreciate what Julio has done as a player and also expect more, because the offense will go as far as he can take it. Talked about everyone else and what we can expect from the AAA group as well! Thanks for listening!Twitter - @chaosball1977Email - mschaosball@gmail.com

On this rebroadcast episode of the Special Chronicles Podcast: Daniel Smrokowski sits down with Soeren Palumbo, co-founder of Spread The Word, to talk about the Spread the Word Day of Activation this week on March 5th. This Week, our focus is on derogatory language. Tune in to a rebroadcast conversation with Soeren as he talks about: his backstory of growing up with his sister who has intellectual disabilities; why he co-founded this campaign; how he met Timbo Shriver; Importance of the r-word campaign; Backstory of article he and Tim co-authored entitled “Spread This: Be Good to People with Intellectual Disabilities”; Soeren's thoughts on this year's awareness day; Future of the r-word campaign; and much more! We think the world would be better if everyone were included. Around the world, exclusion and discrimination continue to divide people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are changing that with grassroots action for inclusion. That's Spread the Word. This year, you can engage and activate in multiple ways by choosing your focus: derogatory language, bullying or inclusive action. Visit SpreadTheWord.Global to access resources, sign the pledge, and grab your official gear. Together, let's create a more inclusive world! Is America capable of creating geniuses anymore, or just technicians who feed the nostalgia for the age of auteurs? Just a few months ago, The Brutalist was being heralded as a masterpiece, but now it's mired in controversy about AI use and accusations of Zionist politics. Both of these attacks are wrong, by the way -- it is simply that the movie is not very good. On the week of David Lynch's death, Nico and Jessa discuss the Ayn Randiness of The Brutalist, the cliches related to creative genius, and why neo-Nazis love Twin Peaks. Today I'm revisiting the common idea that hormone pellets are somehow worse or more dangerous than other options for testosterone delivery. Derogatory language like “pellet pushers” is divisive and unhelpful, and suggests that all providers who prescribe pellets are practicing irresponsibly. While irresponsible providers exist in all fields, well educated menopause experts find that pellets are a viable option for patients who choose them, after being given the pros and cons of all available hormone delivery methods. Remember that we do not have an FDA approved testosterone product available for women, so all testosterone for women comes from a compounding pharmacy- and whether it is a cream, a pellet or a sublingual troche, it's exactly the same product, and the delivery method should be the patient's choice.

An employment expert says there's a balance between free speech and unprofessionalism when dismissing staff for making inappropriate comments. 16 Immigration NZ staff have been disciplined for derogatory messages about visa applicants on Teams. 10 workers have been either dismissed or issued a formal warning already. Max Whitehead told Andrew Dickens employers need to be careful of free speech. He says people are entitled to say what they want to some extent, but an employer is likely to be reactive to comments. If you need support or advice on any of the matters raised within the programme, please visit: https://www.samaritans.org/Our guest on the latest episode of Up Front is the Dark Destroyer - Nigel Benn. A fan favourite throughout his career, Nigel was a two-weight world champion who was involved in some of the most memorable fights in British boxing history. After taking up the sport while serving in the army, Nigel soon established a reputation as a fearsome puncher. He won the WBO middleweight title in 1990 and the WBC super-middleweight belt in 1992 and is best remembered for his contests against Chris Eubank and Gerald McClellan, the latter of which was sadly to have tragic consequences.Following his retirement, Nigel struggled with addictions that took him to the brink of taking his own life. He talks candidly about that period and how he turned things around, the fights against Eubank and McClellan and the current boxing scene. He also discusses his son Conor: his potential fight with Chris Eubank Jr and the recent lifting of his provisional doping ban by the National Anti-Doping Panel. Nigel and Simon have strongly disagreed on that subject and, for the first time, they sit down to hear what the other has to say. This is one not to be missed.Subscribe for future episodes and head to http://www.youtube.com/@UpFrontWithSimonJordan for full video episodes. 18+ please gamble responsibly.Warning: this episode contains language that some people may find offensive.
Labour's Jan Tinetti says consequences for rule-breaking in the House should apply across the aisle. Tinetti claims Education Minister Erica Stanford called her a 'stupid b....' after a fiery exchange during Question Time. Stanford withdrew and apologised. Last week, Labour's Willie Jackson was forced to leave the House when he wouldn't apologise for calling David Seymour a liar. Tinetti says it's fair to also call out Stanford. "Willie got thrown out of the House by the Speaker for that. So, you know, there is a consequence to that, that's why we have the rules and that's why we have consequences." [Update] here is the information about who the Secretary of the ACA is https://theaca.net.au/board-and-gover... , however again, no easily / readily accessible information on their contact details. Could the statement, "A member will not make any derogatory or insulting remark against the Association" be perceived as a restriction to your free speech as a member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA)? What if the ACA didn't provide you with a definition of what a derogatory or insulting remark was? And what if the Code of Ethics and Practice requires you as a member, to take your concern only to the Secretary and then to abide by their direction to you, yet the information on who the Secretary is, is not readily accessible (ie, they are not included on the website with the rest of the Employees), nor is their contact information readily accessible and nor is any information provided about the Directions that the Secretary can provide to you? The latest version of the Code of Ethics and Practice V16 seems to be largely consistent with its previous V15 except for the introduction of 16.5: Responsibility to Colleagues and Others, subsection iv. My guidance to members of the ACA is to reflect on the newest clause and consider requesting definitions of 'criticism', 'derogatory remark', and 'insulting remark' are included in the Definitions section of the Code; that the details and contact information for the Secretary be included in 16.5 (iv) for ease of reference and that a list of Directions that can be made by the Secretary are also included for transparency. This aside, other suggestions would be for the ACA to incorporate inclusive language in the Code and to include definitions of Counsellors v Registered Counsellors. This is important as the two terms are used at different times throughout the document without explanation. It is difficult for members to know what applies to them (or not) without such definitions. The podcast you are about to listen to is a side-by-side comparison of the previous version of the Code with the newest version. I am not a member of the ACA and have attempted to be impartial with respect to the critique / overview of the Code. Any opinions expressed in the video are my own and are my professional opinion only. All comments, thoughts and questions on this video are welcome if they are respectful. I love hearing different perspectives, different points of view and differing opinion and believe that's a wonderful way for us all to learn from each other. If you would rather watch the video and see the side-by-side comparison, you can do so here. #aca #counsellors #codeofethics

Crusader chief executive Colin Mansbridge has offered a defence after their coach was scrutinised after their ten-loss Super Rugby season. Coach Rob Penney is in hot water after getting caught referring to a journalist in a derogatory manner after facing questions over his future in the role. Penney's apologised to Mansbridge - who in turn apologised to the reporter. Mansbridge says Penney's apology for his actions was satisfactory. "I'm not sure what Rob could say now - he's got a job and he's preparing athletes for a game, another one of those exciting clashes on Saturday." Welcome to the end of the blue decade, Blue Ballers, and the beginning of SEASON TEN of NYCFC madness, brought to you by your own Boys in Blue. A special salute to the ballers who've been with us since the Obama Era, through thick and thin, from Kreis to Cup -- this one's for you. But that's about as triumphant as we're getting this time around, because NYCFC is back to their old tricks and we don't mean that in a good way. Jake & Trey break down our few-shots-on-goal 90 against Charlotte FC and break down what's changed and what hasn't from our abortive 2023 campaign. Plus: Gabe Segal nabs a highlight reel moment for Houston. Then: a pessimistic precap of St. Louis. Wait 20 minutes before going into the silk bath -- you've got Blue Balls.
Tonight's questions: - What recent games are worth playing? - Should Xbox have a Windows layer? - Will WB rely on Mortal Kombat 1 in 2024? - Is this the lost console generation? - Is “live service” a derogatory term? Kvothe puts a button on his story, and Bast decides not to go to a party. We talk about why Kvothe ends part two where and when he does, the mystery of why Kvothe went away (and why no one talks about it), and manmade breakfast horrors beyond comprehension. @pageofthewind pageofthewind.com Join the community on Discord at https://discord.gg/tCZc6kXQcg To support the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike as they battle for a living wage and decent working conditions, visit one or more of these links: https://entertainmentcommunity.org/ https://actionnetwork.org/fundraising/the-snacklist-support-striking-workers
