A show about all things geek: comics, movies, TV, toys, role-playing games, video games, etc. The podcast is recorded complete with alcoholic beverages, and new episodes every Monday afternoon. The very first Geek Show was called Geek Chat and premiered on the Radio From Hell Show KXRK X96 in Salt L…
Listeners of Geekshow Podcast that love the show mention: geek show, best geek, geek podcast, kerry, guys, listen, good, work, love, great.
The Geekshow Podcast is an incredible show that has provided me with countless hours of entertainment and comfort. From the moment I started listening, I found myself laughing out loud, shedding a tear or two, and indulging in some delicious snacks (ham being my favorite). The hosts of this podcast have become like friends to me, helping me through tough times and always putting a smile on my face. They are truly fantastic individuals who clearly love what they do, and it shines through in every episode. I eagerly tune in every week to join in on their casual and rowdy conversations about geek culture.
One aspect of The Geekshow Podcast that stands out to me is the dynamic between the hosts. With a comedian in the military, an artist restaurant owner, a radio personality, a movie critic, a caffeinated Mormon, and even a "7-11" employee thrown into the mix, there is never a dull moment. Their chemistry is palpable and their discussions are always engaging and entertaining. They effortlessly navigate the world of geek culture, sharing their insights, opinions, and hilarious anecdotes. Additionally, the show often features special guests who add even more depth to the conversations. It truly feels like sitting down with a group of friends who share your passions.
If I had to mention one downside to this podcast, it would be that it took me a few episodes to fully get into it. However, as host Kerry suggests, giving it about five episodes allowed me to really appreciate its charm. So for newcomers who may initially struggle to connect with the show's style or humor, I would encourage them to give it some time before deciding whether or not it's for them.
In conclusion, The Geekshow Podcast is by far one of the best podcasts out there for anyone who loves geek culture. Not only does it provide endless laughter and entertainment, but it also serves as an informative source for all things geeky. The hosts' passion for their topics is infectious and their camaraderie is a joy to listen to. Personally, this podcast has become an integral part of my weekly routine, brightening up even the most dreadful Monday mornings. I cannot recommend it enough to all fellow geeks out there. Give it a listen and prepare to be hooked!
