In this episode of Tinfoil Tales, Brandon speaks with Jason, who shares two unsettling encounters with what he believes were Dogman-type creatures in Indiana. Jason describes the first sighting in 2018 near Linton, Indiana, when he and several family members noticed glowing yellow eyes watching them from the woods behind a fire pit. What they saw appeared to be a large canine creature standing upright on two legs, estimated to be between seven and eight feet tall. When a gunshot was fired toward it, the creature quickly fled the area. Years later, Jason experienced another encounter while driving to work on a rural road near the Wabash River. This time he saw an even larger creature — possibly nine to ten feet tall — with bright yellow eyes and a muscular upper body. The creature calmly walked away into nearby woods as Jason watched from his truck. I'm also concerned about being able to attend Ashlyn's graduation. Please pray that the judge will excuse me.Pray also for Liam Carr and his family. They are our newest Mission Sending Service long-term missionaries and are awaiting Taiwan's government to issue them a visa so they can move to Taiwan. The Carrs have also been raising support and are not yet to full levels. Pray for their move this year and their adjustment to living in Yilan County and full-time language study.Please pray for K.B. Mark is part historian, amateur archaeologist, novice geologist, would-be anthropologist, adamant researcher, comedian, and a passionate writer. Nothing gets Mark down not even physical injuries. Some of his work includes items such as his book Lakes, Lizards, Linton and Leverett about ancient rivers, lakes, flora, fauna, geological features, prehistoric peoples such as the Archaic & Paleo-Indians. Katherine has written several articles for Shakespeare-Oxford Newsletter, and served as its editor for two years. Chiljan is currently on the Research Grant committee for the Shakespeare-Oxford Fellowship, and is a board member of the Shakespeare Authorship Coalition. Katherine has given talks on the Shakespeare Authorship Question in numerous public libraries, clubs, universities, and bookstores throughout California. She is a frequent guest on radio shows and podcasts such as “Coast to Coast-AM”. Chiljan, a graduate of U.C.L.A. in history, became interested in the authorship question after watching a TV debate between Charlton Ogburn and a Shakespeare professor on “Firing Line”. Ogburn's case for the 17th Earl of Oxford as the real Shakespeare was overwhelming, and inspired Katherine to do her own research. And haunted winds ripping through the northern English moors. WUTHERING HEIGHTS! I'm your host, Gino Caputi and I'm joined by my kid sis the English Literature Major and Wuthering Heights MEGA FAN, Roseanne Caputi and  we will endeavor to find the truest and best filmed adaptation of the novel, starting from the 1939 William Wyler directed Laurence Olivier Merle Oberon venture  all the way up to the current 2026 Emerald Fennel reimagining starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi.  For the first time on this podcast we're breaking with my iron clad rules and tradition and including a version produced for television.  So we have the aforementioned 1939 production directed by William Wyler and starring Laurence Olivier as Heathcliff, Merle Oberon as Catherine and David Niven as Edgar LintonNow I watched this one but Roseanne didn't, big chicken that she is, the 1958 Dupont Show of the Week Presentation starring Richard Burton as Heathcliff, Rosemary Harris as Catherine and Denholm Eliot as Edgar Linton  Then we jump ahead 12 years to a earthy yet still mod 1970 adaptation directed by Robert Fuest and starring Anna Calder-Marshall, Timothy Dalton as Heathcliff and Ian Ogilvy as Linton 22 years later we get the somewhat perfunctory production directed by Peter Kominsky and starring Juliet Binoche as Catherine, Ralph Fiennes as Heathcliff and Simon Shepherd as Edgar Linton Then 7 years after that we get the stellar TV version directed by Coky Giedroyc and starring Tom Hardy as Heathcliff, Charlotte Riley as Catherine and Andrew Lincoln as Edgar Linton 2 years after that there's the peculiar movie version directed by Andrea Arnold where the focus is on the younger versions of the characters starring Solomon Glave and James Howson as Heathcliff, Shannon Beer and Kaya Scodelario as Catherine and James Northcote as Edgar Linton And that brings up to 2026's Emerald Fennal version starring Margot Robbie as Catherine, Jacob Elordy as Heathcliff and Shazad Latif as Edgar Linton. Before we dive in, the synopsis: Young brooding Heathcliffe, a gypsy adopted by Thomas Earnshaw-- patriarch of Wuthering Heights, falls in love with his wild-eyed and passionate adoptive sister Catherine. Though Catherine and Heathcliff are soulmates, Catherine in turn marries foppish wealthy Edgar Linton.
