Do you feel that you need to have what God has promised right NOW? Or are you waiting on his promise as he alone knows the perfect time?. I'll ask another question: Do you feel that your relationship with God will be perfect from the start? Or do you feel that it is a process that will take time and you will need to be patient with your self?. These are both questions that we all should think on within ourselves and pray that our hearts stance is right as I know due to us living in a microwave culture, we believe that whatever we want we must have it now when that will not always happen. Sometimes what is required is patience and faith. We have to trust that God will provide that blessing as long as it's in His Will for you, he won't provide it on your timeline but on HIS, now as for your relationship with God you have to be patient with yourself and not think that everything will be great in an instance. Take it step by step each day as you grow and watch how a beautiful relationship will grow with Him(God). Are you spending time with God? or are you very busy with the things of this world; whatever it may be do we give it more attention than what we give to God or Do we find the time in our lives to spend time with God, serving others and your community. When was the last time you can say that you prayed, you read the word, you fasted or even give a word of encouragement to yourself and others? If we're being honest it may not have been recent but in today's episode we want to have a real talk with you about trying to seek God and His will for our lives. Even if you haven't been doing so until now, this episode today is still for you.So have a listen and if possible share this podcast with others. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
Are you willing to Sacrifice your desires, sacrifice your plans, Sacrifice your will and trust that God has a reason for the season you are in right now? I know that what I'm asking you is not easy but I'm asking this because trusting God in our tough season, requires surrender. Surrendering what we think or what we know about the situation to Him so that He can fix it and comfort us through it. Right now I guarantee you God is right there with you during this tough time and He's reaching out to you. More than ever He wants you to spend time focused on Him and what he's about to do in your life. You may think that it's over and you may think that you have no more fight left but I guarantee you if you trust and believe that God is there in your situation and you ask Him for the power to overcome; I guarantee you He will. So, once again I ask the question “Are you willing to surrender?” To hear more tune in to today's episode. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Hey Everyone!, In today's episode we are talking about voices. who it is that we listen to as it relates to our self image and what we think about ourselves. How do you see yourself? Do you see yourself as weak?, lazy?, or you think or feel that you can't do anything right. The thing is, I think a lot of us feel that way or have felt that way but I just want us to take the time out to see if it is that we have a healthy image of ourselves that is rooted in secure and uplifting beliefs because the devil and some of the people we come across will come with many lies about your identity just to get you to lose heart, to lose faith and to have you doubting who it is God has called you to be but I want to encourage you to stop listening to the lies and speak the truth of God's word over your life because God has made you special and He has made you significant. God knew you while you were in your mother's womb and He has predestined you for greatness, so walk in that fact. Do you see God as just a genie? Do you see him as just a wish granter so when you want your needs met you can just call on him? if you answered (honestly) to that question or even hesitated to answer you may want to check your relationship with God. I'm not saying all this to judge anyone here but in terms of a relationship do we only practice purity because we want God to bless us with a relationship or do we genuinely practice it to deepen our relationship with God. I think as Christians or non christian we have to look at the posture of our hearts and also take a look at our intentions just to make sure that we are doing the right thing for the RIGHT REASON. Are we only staying pure so that God can bless us with a spouse OR are we doing it to please God. Many times I think that we misunderstand why it is that we abstain from sex before marriage, a lot of us think or it has been taught to us that if we practice purity then God will bless us with a spouse and an amazing relationship which is NOT TRUE. God isn't asking us to give him something before he can bless us. Think about it this way: Purity deals with more of changing our hearts and character rather than preparing us for a spouse. Do you think that the normal day to day activities can't be opportunities for dates? To get to know each other and how you both handle different situations together and individually, do you mellow each other out? Do you calm him or does he calm you? Can he make you laugh and most importantly does he pray for you? Like I think that when it comes on to dating its not always about fancy dinners or trips to Dubai etc. but it can just be a walk in the park, a picnic on a hill or even a night beach trip under the stars. These little things can go far way in building the foundation of a life long partnership with the one you truly love.
