This week, we'll be studying Genesis 16:1-16 under the theme "God Sees You." In their long wait for a child, Abram and Sarai, acting as if God needed their help, took matters into their own hands—a decision that led to scheming, blame, and the mistreatment of their servant, Hagar. But in her desperate flight, Hagar was found by the Angel of the LORD. In an act of profound insight, she gave a name to the God who met her in the wilderness: El Roi, "the God who sees me." Her story assures us that, even when we feel completely invisible, we are seen, known, and sought by a God who meets us in our pain.Series Summary: Our fall worship series will lead us through the Book of Genesis, arguably the most profound, insightful text in human history. Over this series, we'll uncover how the narratives of Genesis reveal God's design for creation, humanity, relationships, and purpose. We'll explore truths that continue to shape our lives today, from the Garden of Eden to the promise of redemption.Add St. Marcus as your church on the Church Center App!Fill out our online connection cardHow can we pray for you? Welcome to another episode of WWJD, I am always so excited to record these episodes and share with you, thoughts, experiences and how we can learn from them through the eyes of Jesus.God shared with me when I woke up this morning the words; my belief system lies in how God sees me, not what has happened to me.Today we delve deeper in to this and seek scripture to support these words aswell as talking about situations in life today and how we can respond through the eyes of Jesus. Genesis 6:1-12
Delivered God knows. God sees. God acts. Exodus 2.1–25 SEPT 15 2025
Are you feeling fearful, lonely, or overwhelmed?
We live into the identity we behold. That's the central truth explored in this message, which looks at God not only as Creator—but as Artist. From the very beginning, God created mankind in His image, and He continues to shape and reveal that image in us today. Just as a great portrait captures more than a likeness—it reflects soul, story, and destiny—so too, God's Word and presence are like a mirror that shows us the best of who we are becoming. In contrast to the false mirrors of shame, inferiority, or regret, this message explores how Jesus is the perfect portrait: both aspirational and relatable, reflecting the fullness of God and the redemption of our truest selves. When we allow God to show us who we really are, it transforms how we live, love, and serve.
When it comes to the topic of spiritual gifts, Scripture has often been misinterpreted and incorrectly applied by Christians throughout the history of the church. So how can we gain a proper understanding of this important issue? We'll get that answer on this broadcast of The Bible Study Hour as Dr. James Boice explains how a simple comma can alter the entire meaning of a passage. God Sees a Jesus Follower as Being “In Christ”; Therefore, God Sees a Jesus Follower as His Son or Daughter MESSAGE SUMMARY: As Followers of Jesus, you are "In Christ" -- God looks at you, as a Jesus Follower, and He sees Jesus in you. Throughout the Epistles we find: "In Christ" or "In Him". In Galatians 3:14, Paul tells you that your faith in Jesus makes you “In Christ” and a recipient of God's Covenant with Abraham: “so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.". Also, Paul goes even further, in Galatians 3:25-28, to tell you that, through your faith in Jesus, you no longer need any kind of intermediary because you are “In Christ” and you have a personal relationship with God, the Creator of the Universe: “But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian, for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.”. When God sees you, “In Christ" as a Jesus Follower, He sees Jesus, the Son. Therefore, God sees you as His son or daughter. TODAY'S PRAYER: Lord, everything in me resists following you into the garden of Gethsemane to fall on my face to the ground before you. Grant me the courage to follow you all the way to the cross, whatever that might mean for my life. And then, by your grace, lead me to resurrection life and power. In Jesus' name, amen. Rather, I will walk in the Spirit's fruit of Love. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” (Galatians 5:22f). Luke 14: 1, 7-14 - Jesus at a Pharisee's House One Sabbath, when Jesus went to eat in the house of a prominent Pharisee, he was being carefully watched. 7 When he noticed how the guests picked the places of honor at the table, he told them this parable: 8 “When someone invites you to a wedding feast, do not take the place of honor, for a person more distinguished than you may have been invited. 9 If so, the host who invited both of you will come and say to you, ‘Give this person your seat.' Then, humiliated, you will have to take the least important place. 10 But when you are invited, take the lowest place, so that when your host comes, he will say to you, ‘Friend, move up to a better place.' Then you will be honored in the presence of all the other guests. 11 For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” 12 Then Jesus said to his host, “When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or sisters, your relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. 13 But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, 14 and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”
Bible Reading: Psalm 51:1-10; Matthew 23:25-28"Wow, Mom! Look at that huge caramel apple!" Zayne exclaimed when he and his mom walked into the grocery store. "Can I get it to take to school tomorrow?""Well, a regular apple would be better for you, but that one is a beauty," Mom said. "Okay. You can have it this time."During class the next morning, Zayne thought about the caramel apple in his lunch bag. His mouth watered as he imagined biting into it. He was glad when lunchtime finally came. Sandwich first, Zayne told himself. Then the carrot sticks. At last he pulled out the apple. He held it up to show his friends, and one of them tried to grab it. Zayne laughed and quickly bit into it. To his great dismay, the inside of the apple was soft and brown, and it tasted horrible! He tried to just eat the caramel on the outside, but he kept getting some of the soft apple with it.When Zayne got home, he opened the refrigerator to find a snack. There in the fruit bin were several shiny red apples. He looked at them, but chose a cheese stick instead. "I don't trust apples anymore," he told Mom when she took one out. "The one we bought yesterday was no good. I had to throw it away." "What a shame," said Mom, shaking her head. "It was so pretty!" She grinned at Zayne. "But you know, it's a good reminder of how we can be like that apple.""We can?" asked Zayne. "How?""People aren't always what they appear to be," Mom explained. "It's pretty easy for us to hide thoughts and feelings from other people--it's even possible for us to keep others from seeing sin we're holding on to in our lives. But we can't hide anything from God. He isn't fooled by false outer appearances because He sees our hearts. Even if no one else knows about wrong things we're doing or thinking about others, He does. And if we confess them to Jesus, He will forgive us and make us clean."Mom cut into her apple. "You can see the inside of this apple now, and it looks great," she told Zayne as she handed him a slice. "Have a piece." –Karen R. LocklearHow About You?Have you learned how to hide sin in your life from others? You may be able to fool other people, but you can't fool God. The Pharisees in today's Bible reading were able to make themselves look good to people, but Jesus saw what was in their hearts--and He sees what's in your heart too. If there's sin in your heart, confess it to Jesus so He can make you clean. Today's Key Verse:You [God] alone know every human heart. (CSB) (1 Kings 8:39 )Today's Key Thought:God sees your heart

In this devotional, Hannah Benson reminds us of a timeless truth: God sees you. Even when prayers seem unanswered, and our hearts feel weary, the Lord’s eyes are always on us. Through personal testimony and Scripture, Hannah shares how God gently reminded her of His presence in a moment of deep discouragement. Just as He revealed Himself to Hagar in the wilderness and heard Hannah’s cries in the temple, God is attentive to your life, your struggles, and your desires. Highlights God Sees You: Encouragement from Genesis 16:13 and the story of Hagar’s encounter with “El Roi.” When Prayers Feel Unanswered: Why God’s timing and responses—whether yes, no, or not yet—can still be trusted. Hannah’s Story: Biblical assurance that God hears and knows the desires of your heart. The Power of Obedience: How a simple note from a friend became a divine reminder of God’s care. Practical Encouragement: Be willing to follow the Spirit’s prompting—your act of obedience could be someone else’s answered prayer. Join the Conversation Have you ever had a moment where God reminded you that He sees you—maybe through Scripture, prayer, or even a word from a friend? Share your story with us by tagging @LifeAudioNetwork and using #GodSeesYou. Your testimony could encourage someone else who is wondering the same question today: “Lord, do You see me?”
Have you ever wondered, Does God really hear me? Does He truly see me? This week on The Love Offering Podcast, I had the joy of talking with Vivian Mabuni, co-host of the God Hears Her Podcast and author, speaker, and Bible teacher. Together, we unpack what it means to be fully known, fully loved, and deeply heard by the God who never overlooks us. Vivian vulnerably shares her own story of wrestling with God’s voice, navigating seasons of disappointment, and discovering that even when God says “no,” His love for us doesn’t change. If you’ve ever felt unseen, unheard, or unloved, this conversation will remind you of the tender truth that God hears you. I can’t wait for you to be encouraged by this powerful reminder of God’s faithfulness. Share it with a friend who needs to be reminded today: She is seen. She is heard. She is loved. We live in a time where declarations are louder than demonstrations. People say, “I believe in God,” but when we ask, “Which God?” or “How do you know God?” the answers often dissolve into vagueness. When we realize that God sees through our words we can begin to address the importance of being true and authentic with our lives. That is transformation, and that is what God's desire is for each of us and the world.God bless,Rev LeonJeremiah 23:23-32
This sermon, recorded at the Redeemed Christian Church of God Salvation Center, concludes a family series by focusing on blended families and single parents. Through Scripture and personal testimony, it reassures listeners that God sees, hears, and cares for those parenting alone. The message encourages single parents to lean on God for strength, highlights God as a father to the fatherless, and calls the church community to support and uplift single-parent households in practical ways.

In this time of worship and reflection, we were reminded that God looks at the heart, not outward appearances. We considered how our perspective on prophecy and eternal judgment impacts the way we live right now. We reflected on the assurance of our identity in Christ, even when we feel unworthy, and we found encouragement to draw near to God in the face of rejection and pain. Through it all, we were led to fix our eyes on God's love, seek intimacy with Him, and live from a place of surrender and confidence in His view of us.

God makes a nationwide morality play in Deuteronomy 27 and 28. ½ the people play the good guys, and ½ the nation plays the bad guys. The whole country literally has a part. They stand on the dividing lines of good vs. evil. Everybody speaks so that they understood the choice before them. Everybody understands the consequences. Don't we all similarly understand that we get to choose, but choose under the watchful eye of the Lord.https://youtu.be/RNsovf2lf3I

Welcome to Inside the Epicenter with Joel and Lynn Rosenberg, brought to you by the Joshua Fund. In this episode, we travel to the Calvary Chapel East Coast Pastors Conference in Philadelphia, where Joel addresses a crucial issue: why are so many young evangelicals turning against Israel? Drawing on decades of experience, Joel outlines seven key reasons behind this shift, ranging from gaps in biblical teaching and the impact of secular culture to a lack of compassion for Palestinians within the church. He shares how recent events, including the October 7th attacks, have transformed the region and highlights the Joshua Fund’s mission to bring practical aid and the love of Jesus to both Israelis and their neighbors. Join us as we examine what’s at stake for the next generation and how we can reclaim a biblical vision for Israel, the Middle East, and the church’s role in the epicenter today.
