Are you feeling fearful, lonely, or overwhelmed?
When it comes to the topic of spiritual gifts, Scripture has often been misinterpreted and incorrectly applied by Christians throughout the history of the church. So how can we gain a proper understanding of this important issue? We'll get that answer on this broadcast of The Bible Study Hour as Dr. James Boice explains how a simple comma can alter the entire meaning of a passage. God Sees a Jesus Follower as Being “In Christ”; Therefore, God Sees a Jesus Follower as His Son or Daughter MESSAGE SUMMARY: As Followers of Jesus, you are "In Christ" -- God looks at you, as a Jesus Follower, and He sees Jesus in you. Throughout the Epistles we find: "In Christ" or "In Him". In Galatians 3:14, Paul tells you that your faith in Jesus makes you “In Christ” and a recipient of God's Covenant with Abraham: “so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.". Also, Paul goes even further, in Galatians 3:25-28, to tell you that, through your faith in Jesus, you no longer need any kind of intermediary because you are “In Christ” and you have a personal relationship with God, the Creator of the Universe: “But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian, for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.”. When God sees you, “In Christ" as a Jesus Follower, He sees Jesus, the Son. Therefore, God sees you as His son or daughter. TODAY'S PRAYER: Lord, everything in me resists following you into the garden of Gethsemane to fall on my face to the ground before you. Grant me the courage to follow you all the way to the cross, whatever that might mean for my life. And then, by your grace, lead me to resurrection life and power. In Jesus' name, amen. Bible Reading: Psalm 51:1-10; Matthew 23:25-28"Wow, Mom! Look at that huge caramel apple!" Zayne exclaimed when he and his mom walked into the grocery store. "Can I get it to take to school tomorrow?""Well, a regular apple would be better for you, but that one is a beauty," Mom said. "Okay. You can have it this time."During class the next morning, Zayne thought about the caramel apple in his lunch bag. His mouth watered as he imagined biting into it. He was glad when lunchtime finally came. Sandwich first, Zayne told himself. Then the carrot sticks. At last he pulled out the apple. He held it up to show his friends, and one of them tried to grab it. Zayne laughed and quickly bit into it. To his great dismay, the inside of the apple was soft and brown, and it tasted horrible! He tried to just eat the caramel on the outside, but he kept getting some of the soft apple with it.When Zayne got home, he opened the refrigerator to find a snack. There in the fruit bin were several shiny red apples. He looked at them, but chose a cheese stick instead. "I don't trust apples anymore," he told Mom when she took one out. "The one we bought yesterday was no good. I had to throw it away." "What a shame," said Mom, shaking her head. "It was so pretty!" She grinned at Zayne. "But you know, it's a good reminder of how we can be like that apple.""We can?" asked Zayne. "How?""People aren't always what they appear to be," Mom explained. "It's pretty easy for us to hide thoughts and feelings from other people--it's even possible for us to keep others from seeing sin we're holding on to in our lives. But we can't hide anything from God. He isn't fooled by false outer appearances because He sees our hearts. Even if no one else knows about wrong things we're doing or thinking about others, He does. And if we confess them to Jesus, He will forgive us and make us clean."Mom cut into her apple. "You can see the inside of this apple now, and it looks great," she told Zayne as she handed him a slice. "Have a piece." –Karen R. LocklearHow About You?Have you learned how to hide sin in your life from others? You may be able to fool other people, but you can't fool God. The Pharisees in today's Bible reading were able to make themselves look good to people, but Jesus saw what was in their hearts--and He sees what's in your heart too. If there's sin in your heart, confess it to Jesus so He can make you clean. Today's Key Verse:You [God] alone know every human heart. (CSB) (1 Kings 8:39 )Today's Key Thought:God sees your heart

A sermon by Reverend SN Motha based on the books of John 12 verses 1 - 2 and John 11 verses 3 - 6
In this devotional, Hannah Benson reminds us of a timeless truth: God sees you. Even when prayers seem unanswered, and our hearts feel weary, the Lord’s eyes are always on us. Through personal testimony and Scripture, Hannah shares how God gently reminded her of His presence in a moment of deep discouragement. Just as He revealed Himself to Hagar in the wilderness and heard Hannah’s cries in the temple, God is attentive to your life, your struggles, and your desires. Highlights God Sees You: Encouragement from Genesis 16:13 and the story of Hagar’s encounter with “El Roi.” When Prayers Feel Unanswered: Why God’s timing and responses—whether yes, no, or not yet—can still be trusted. Hannah’s Story: Biblical assurance that God hears and knows the desires of your heart. The Power of Obedience: How a simple note from a friend became a divine reminder of God’s care. Practical Encouragement: Be willing to follow the Spirit’s prompting—your act of obedience could be someone else’s answered prayer. Join the Conversation Have you ever had a moment where God reminded you that He sees you—maybe through Scripture, prayer, or even a word from a friend? Share your story with us by tagging @LifeAudioNetwork and using #GodSeesYou. Your testimony could encourage someone else who is wondering the same question today: “Lord, do You see me?”
Have you ever wondered, Does God really hear me? Does He truly see me? This week on The Love Offering Podcast, I had the joy of talking with Vivian Mabuni, co-host of the God Hears Her Podcast and author, speaker, and Bible teacher. Together, we unpack what it means to be fully known, fully loved, and deeply heard by the God who never overlooks us. Vivian vulnerably shares her own story of wrestling with God’s voice, navigating seasons of disappointment, and discovering that even when God says “no,” His love for us doesn’t change. If you’ve ever felt unseen, unheard, or unloved, this conversation will remind you of the tender truth that God hears you. I can’t wait for you to be encouraged by this powerful reminder of God’s faithfulness. Share it with a friend who needs to be reminded today: She is seen. She is heard. She is loved. We live in a time where declarations are louder than demonstrations. People say, “I believe in God,” but when we ask, “Which God?” or “How do you know God?” the answers often dissolve into vagueness. When we realize that God sees through our words we can begin to address the importance of being true and authentic with our lives. That is transformation, and that is what God's desire is for each of us and the world.God bless,Rev LeonJeremiah 23:23-32
This sermon, recorded at the Redeemed Christian Church of God Salvation Center, concludes a family series by focusing on blended families and single parents. Through Scripture and personal testimony, it reassures listeners that God sees, hears, and cares for those parenting alone. The message encourages single parents to lean on God for strength, highlights God as a father to the fatherless, and calls the church community to support and uplift single-parent households in practical ways.

In this time of worship and reflection, we were reminded that God looks at the heart, not outward appearances. We considered how our perspective on prophecy and eternal judgment impacts the way we live right now. We reflected on the assurance of our identity in Christ, even when we feel unworthy, and we found encouragement to draw near to God in the face of rejection and pain. Through it all, we were led to fix our eyes on God's love, seek intimacy with Him, and live from a place of surrender and confidence in His view of us.

Send us a textTitle: God Sees You: Hope for the Forgotten and Afflicted (Psalm 10)Short DescriptionWhat do you do when evil seems to thrive and God feels far away? Psalm 10 gives language to our pain and teaches us how to pray through injustice, hold on to God's justice, and find hope when life feels unfair and overwhelming.Episode HighlightsPsalm 10 begins with an honest question: “Why, O Lord, do you stand far away?”The psalmist names the pain of injustice and the silence of God without offering simplistic answers. We are reminded that God is not blind to evil or deaf to the cries of the afflicted.Lament is a gift that gives us space to wrestle with pain and still cling to God's character. The psalm shifts from grief to intercession—moving from confusion to confidence in God's justice.God's throne is secure, His justice will prevail, and He draws near to the brokenhearted. This Psalm teaches us how to wait well, trust deeply, and pray boldly even when justice is delayed.Resources and Next StepsJoin the free Navigator Level of the Lessons for Life Community: https://jameslongjr.org/communityExplore full membership and coaching options: https://jameslongjr.org/signupnowDownload devotionals, attend live meetups, and access biblical life training to grow emotionally, relationally, and spiritually.Listen and SubscribeListen now on the Lessons for Life Podcast:Apple Podcasts: https://jameslongjr.org/applepodcastSpotify: https://jameslongjr.org/spotifyAmazon Music: https://jameslongjr.org/amazonmusic Or search Lessons for Life with James Long, Jr. on your favorite podcast app.Connect and ShareInstagram: @drjameslongjr – https://jameslongjr.org/instagramFacebook: https://jameslongjr.org/facebookYouTube: https://jameslongjr.org/youtubeHashtag: #LessonsForLifePodcast ABOUT JAMES AND LESSONS FOR LIFEAre you longing to find answers to the deeper issues of life? God makes a nationwide morality play in Deuteronomy 27 and 28. ½ the people play the good guys, and ½ the nation plays the bad guys. The whole country literally has a part. They stand on the dividing lines of good vs. evil. Everybody speaks so that they understood the choice before them. Everybody understands the consequences. Don't we all similarly understand that we get to choose, but choose under the watchful eye of the Lord.https://youtu.be/RNsovf2lf3I
Send us a textEpisode SummaryPsalm 7 is a powerful guide for those who have been slandered, falsely accused, or deeply wounded by injustice. In this episode of Counseling Through the Psalms, James Long, Jr. helps us explore how David moves from protest to praise—not by denying the pain of injustice, but by entrusting it to God's perfect justice. When your name is attacked or your heart is weary, this psalm shows you how to search your conscience, cry out for truth, and rest in the righteousness of God. It is a psalm for those who need both refuge and reassurance in a world where justice often feels delayed or denied.Key TakeawaysGod is both the righteous judge and a personal refuge for the wounded.Prayer can be a protest—not against God, but to Him.True vindication starts with humility, not self-defense.God's patience toward evildoers does not equal indifference. We can move from protest to praise when we trust God's justice more than our own vindication.Scripture FocusPsalm 7:1–17Deuteronomy 32:4Psalm 18:2Romans 2:4–6Proverbs 10:9Reflect and RespondHave you ever been falsely accused or misrepresented? God Sees Jesus Followers as “In Christ”: “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus” MESSAGE SUMMARY: As Followers of Jesus, we are "In Christ" -- God looks at us and sees Jesus in us. Throughout the Epistles we find: "In Christ" or "In Him". In Galatians 3:14, Paul tells us that our faith in Jesus makes us “In Christ” and recipients of God's Covenant with Abraham: “so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.". The benefit our position "In Christ", as Christians, is that when God looks at us, He sees Jesus, the Son; therefore, He then sees us as His sons and daughters. On this episode of Uncommon Sense with Ginny Robinson, we are joined with Juliette Bryant, a courageous survivor of Jeffrey Epstein's vile sex trafficking operation. Lured by the promise of a modeling career, Juliette was instead ensnared in a web of calculated evil. She was abused, exploited, and flown to Epstein's private island where countless others suffered the same fate. This is more than a scandal. It is a moral reckoning. And yet, the full, unredacted Epstein list, containing the names of powerful men who enabled or participated in this wickedness, remains sealed. Why is that?Donald Trump promised the American people he would release it. Now, he mocks those demanding it, calling us “bad people” and “weaklings.” Well, it's actually bad and weak to fail to release the Epstein list, Mr. President. But we will not be intimidated. The righteous are commanded to expose darkness, not negotiate with it. Trump's evasiveness increasingly resembles guilt. It's certainly not strong leadership. We will not be silenced. Not by politicians, not by media, and not by fear. Welcome to Inside the Epicenter with Joel and Lynn Rosenberg, brought to you by the Joshua Fund. In this episode, we travel to the Calvary Chapel East Coast Pastors Conference in Philadelphia, where Joel addresses a crucial issue: why are so many young evangelicals turning against Israel? Drawing on decades of experience, Joel outlines seven key reasons behind this shift, ranging from gaps in biblical teaching and the impact of secular culture to a lack of compassion for Palestinians within the church. He shares how recent events, including the October 7th attacks, have transformed the region and highlights the Joshua Fund’s mission to bring practical aid and the love of Jesus to both Israelis and their neighbors. Aloha and welcome to The Mission North Shore's podcast! In this exploration of Luke 2, we delve into the beautiful story of Simeon's encounter with the infant Jesus. Simeon, described as righteous, devout, and led by the Holy Spirit, teaches us the importance of living in anticipation of God's promises. His unwavering faith was rewarded with the extraordinary privilege of seeing the Messiah before his death. Simeon's example encourages us to deepen our relationship with God, knowing that He sees and rewards our faithfulness. As we reflect on this, let's consider how we can cultivate a heart that is always ready to encounter Christ in our daily lives. God bless and have a great week!
