Gem finishes up cross exam and redirect.We hear from Brian's probation officer, an apartment manager who got surveillance of Brian at the dumpster, another witness brings in Home Depot surveillance, and a witness brings in video of Brian buying men's clothes at TJMaxx The last witness for the commonwealth was a close friend of Ana's in DC. She testifies to Ana's state of mind the last time she saw her, and Ana confided in her about problems in her marriage. The commonwealth rested and the defense was denied a verdict of not guilty. In the early hours of Oct 4, 2025 in downtown Indianapolis, former NFL QB and Fox Sports analyst Mark Sanchez got into a confrontation with Perry Tole, a 69-year-old truck driver collecting used cooking oil. The dispute reportedly started over blocked access/parking near an alley. During the struggle, Tole pepper-sprayed Sanchez and then stabbed him multiple times, saying it was self-defense after Sanchez allegedly tried to get into his truck and attacked him. Sanchez fled and was later hospitalized with serious injuries. Sanchez was arrested and initially booked on misdemeanors; prosecutors have since upgraded to felony battery resulting in serious bodily injury (a charge that can carry 1–6 years if convicted).
