We're on summer break, so this week is a Revisit: a favorite conversation pulled back out of the archive. The idea takes after Dr. Kurosh Dini's concept of the visit, showing up to something with curiosity rather than judgment. In this one, we talk with coach Jane Massengill about the negative self-talk that so many people with ADHD carry, why it can run louder for us, and a simple practice she calls word watching for catching it in the moment. It's a warm, useful conversation about learning to be kinder to yourself. Whether it's your first listen or a return trip, it's worth your time.Links & NotesJaneMassengill.comThe Gremlin-Taming InstituteTaming Your Gremlin: A Surprisingly Simple Method for Getting Out of Your Own Way — by Rick Carlson (00:00) - Welcome to The ADHD Podcast! GO YE| Prayer Meeting |JULY 2026 | The Love of God That Defeats Every Fear | Possessing Your Promise Through Divine Confidence| CHIMDI OHAHUNA Fear is one of the enemy's greatest weapons, but the love of God is God's greatest answer. In this powerful episode, Chimdi Ohahuna continues the life-transforming series on overcoming the spiritual forces that resist believers from possessing their God-given inheritance. Focusing on the operation of the Hittite spirit, the spirit of fear, intimidation, terror, and discouragement, this teaching reveals its hidden mission: to make believers doubt the unwavering love of God. Drawing from 1 John 4:18, Joshua 1, and the temptation of Christ, this episode demonstrates that fear is never merely an emotion, it is a spiritual strategy designed to weaken your confidence in God's love and rob you of your inheritance. You will discover why every attack of intimidation is an invitation to become even more established in the Father's love, and why living with the consciousness that you are God's beloved changes the way you confront every challenge. This episode will help you: ✓ Understand the spiritual purpose behind fear and intimidation. ✓ Discover why the enemy fights your awareness of God's love. ✓ Learn how perfect love casts out torment and fear. ✓ Build the confidence to possess every place God has assigned to you. ✓ Pray with authority until the consciousness of God's love overwhelms your heart. Whether you are facing uncertainty, opposition, spiritual warfare, or entering a new season of life, this teaching will strengthen your faith and remind you that you are not abandoned, you are deeply loved, divinely backed, and called to possess your possession. Listen, pray along, and allow the Holy Spirit to establish you in the unshakable confidence that nothing can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus. Your victory begins when your awareness of God's love becomes greater than your awareness of fear. Jesus is Lord.
Shame Attacking: A Surprising Cure for Social Anxiety Hosts: Kevin Cornelius, LMFT Dr. David Burns Episode Summary Many people believe social anxiety is caused by low self-esteem, poor social skills, or awkwardness. But what if the real culprit is shame? In this episode, Dr. David Burns and Kevin Cornelius explore one of the most powerful—and unconventional—tools for overcoming social anxiety: Shame Attacking Exercises. Drawing from Dr. Burns' recent Psychology Today article, Shame Attacking: Overcoming a Lifetime of Social Anxiety, they tell the remarkable story of Martin, a handsome young man whose intense shame about excessive sweating had left him isolated and unable to connect with others. Through a series of courageous shame-attacking exercises, Martin discovered something life-changing: the world was far kinder and less judgmental than he imagined. Along the way, David shares how he first learned shame-attacking exercises from followers of psychologist Albert Ellis and describes his own unforgettable experience of asking strangers in a crowded New York restaurant if he could sample their food. The episode highlights how bringing our perceived flaws into the open often causes shame to evaporate—much like a vampire exposed to sunlight. In This Episode The Origins of Shame Attacking Exercises David's introduction to Albert Ellis's famous technique Why therapists should never ask patients to do something they wouldn't do themselves The surprising results of David's first shame-attacking exercise in a crowded Chinese restaurant Martin's Story A young man whose fear of sweating kept him trapped in loneliness How shame—not sweating—was the real problem A therapy session unlike any other: jogging through Philadelphia, getting intentionally soaked, and publicly announcing his "flaw" What Happened When Martin Stopped Hiding Why strangers responded with warmth instead of ridicule How exposing his greatest fear challenged years of distorted beliefs The unexpected encounter that changed his social life forever Shame Is Like a Vampire David introduces a memorable metaphor: Shame survives in darkness and secrecy. When exposed to the light, it shrivels up and dies. The discussion explores how openly acknowledging our imperfections can dramatically reduce anxiety and self-consciousness. The Hidden Cost of Taking Ourselves Too Seriously David and Kevin discuss: Why humor can be a powerful antidote to social anxiety The value of becoming more playful and less self-focused How social anxiety often convinces us that everyone is watching and judging us when they're usually not Guidelines for Shame Attacking Exercises David emphasizes that shame-attacking exercises are powerful but should be used thoughtfully. Some important principles include: Be Respectful Exercises should never disrupt places where people deserve peace and privacy, such as hospitals, churches, or synagogues. Be Playful, Not Aggressive The goal is to laugh at yourself, not make others uncomfortable or upset. Don't Wait Until You're Ready The breakthrough often comes when you act despite feeling anxious. Therapists Must Lead by Example If therapists want patients to challenge shame, they should be willing to challenge their own shame as well. Memorable Takeaways The problem is rarely the flaw itself—it's the hiding. Most people are far less judgmental than we imagine. Courage grows through action, not waiting for fear to disappear. Humor and playfulness can dissolve shame. Vulnerability often creates connection rather than rejection. The world may be much friendlier than your anxiety predicts. Featured Article This episode is based on Dr. David Burns' Psychology Today article: "Shame Attacking: Overcoming a Lifetime of Social Anxiety" The article explores Martin's story in greater detail and illustrates how shame-attacking exercises can transform social anxiety by challenging both self-criticism and fears of rejection. This episode was sponsored by Cardiff LightSpeed VT: https://www.lightspeedvt.com/ Dropping Bombs Podcast: https://www.droppingbombs.com/ Today's Dropping Bombs episode features Andelina Storm Grossi, the Gen Z author who recently graduated with a psychology degree after turning her own collapse—crushing anxiety, high cortisol, mold poisoning in her dorm, and losing a close friend to suicide—into Sanity in the Storm, a book bridging faith and mental health for anyone wrestling with anxiety, depression, or spiritual overwhelm. Andelina breaks down why comparison culture is quietly destroying her generation, how she fought back with routine and discipline instead of medication, and why she believes the "enemy" isn't your mind—it's what you let it believe. If you've ever talked yourself out of checking on someone because "they seem okay," this episode makes the case for why that hesitation could cost someone everything.
Hey friends! Fair warning: today's episode is a bit of an emotional rollercoaster — we've got a big security win, some honest lab feedback, and a very personal share about my dad's funeral. Buckle up. CARTP certified, baby! — I'm officially a Certified Azure Red Team Professional (CARTP), courtesy of the folks at Altered Security. It's been a long time coming (I originally signed up for the live version and fell off after missing a couple Saturdays), but I came back for the self-paced 30-day version and finally finished the job. The lab experience — the good: — ~25 objectives, a solid lab guide, and a really fun variety of attack paths. Highlights include stealing tokens, enumerating Azure tenants, attacking apps and VMs and key vaults, simulated phishing against real tenant email addresses, popping reverse shells, and some clever OneDrive-based follow-on attacks via session hijacking. There's even some web app pen testing (hello, server-side template injection!) sprinkled in. The lab experience — the not-so-good: — The included videos are… not my favorite format. Think notepad-on-screen copy-paste tutorials with zero context. To fill in the gaps, I leaned heavily on Claude — pasting blobs of the lab guide and asking things like "why did stealing this token give me X but not Y?" — and it did a great job standing in where a live instructor would normally add color and context. Exam tips (spoiler-free, I promise): — A few things that helped me: I had Claude build me a CliffsNotes study guide from all our study-session chats — token context, command flags, the works. Before hitting start on the 24-hour clock, I fed Claude a list of all the tools I'd been using in the lab and had it build a one-shot PowerShell script to pull them all down from GitHub onto a fresh Windows VM. If your exam lab environment fails to spin up (as mine did in the US region), just try a different region — UK worked great for me. Enumerate. Enumerate. Enumerate. Know your tools, know which ones cover which areas of an Azure tenancy, and know how to get more verbose/tabular output when you need it. Take screenshots and notes as you go — the lab closes after 24 hours and you've got 48 hours to submit your report, so if you forgot to grab a screenshot of a flag… you are SOL, my friend. The exam itself: — I started around 5:30 p.m., wrapped up around 11 p.m., and had the final flag captured, a full Word report drafted, and was in bed at a reasonable hour. Submitted the report the next morning after the gym and a mint hot cocoa, and had my pass confirmation back well within their 7-business-day window. Private pen test training is happening: — I'm currently running a private 3-day session of our Active Directory pen testing class (version 2.0 — it got a big facelift!). It's built on the Game of Active Directory platform and we fully pwn three separate domains over the course of three days. If you can send 3–7 people, reach out at 7MinSec.com/training to line up a private session. I'm also building an interest list for a public version later this fall (reach out if interested)! Also: check out 7MinSec.club — I dropped a little show-and-tell video over on 7MinSec.club this week giving you a peek at what the training looks like in action. Dad's funeral: — I shared some words at my dad's service this past Saturday and wanted to capture them here while they're fresh, since this podcast is basically my journal at this point. The service was perfect — very "him." He'd actually written funeral instructions (yes, they literally sat in a safety deposit box for years) specifying things like: max 10-minute message from the pastor, specific Bible verses, specific songs, and — my favorite — if the service runs over 45 minutes, someone needs to pull the fire alarm. He came up with that final instruction at his brother's funeral, which ran nearly two hours. He leaned over, squeezed my knee and said, "If my service goes over 45 minutes, pull the fire alarm." The song: — I played and sang at the service. The song was "Jesus Savior Pilot Me" — not a personal favorite of my dad's exactly, but he called it "the one about Jesus flying airplanes" after seeing me perform it years ago at the Minnesota State Fair chapel. I practiced it in the car on the way to Caribou every morning until I could get through it without crying. My guitar teacher's advice: close your eyes, focus on your fingers, and pretend you're just playing a tune in a room. It worked. Mostly. Thank you: — Seriously, so many of you have sent kind messages and I just want you to know it means the world. He taught me a lot about being a good dad, a good husband, and how to live with passion, a good attitude about your work, and a heart for serving others.

Welcome to The Times of Israel's Daily Briefing, your 20-minute audio update on what's happening in Israel, the Middle East and the Jewish world. Diplomatic correspondent Lazar Berman joins host Amanda Borschel-Dan for today's episode. There are at least 19 US warships in the Arabian Sea, including two aircraft carriers and an amphibious assault ship with more than 1,000 Marines aboard. This threat -- and US President Donald Trump's renewed blockade on the Strait of Hormuz -- is not deterring the Iranians' determined chokehold on the waterway. Berman delves into the logic behind Iran's moves. Adding further nuance, we take a look at Iran's strikes on its Gulf neighbors and Jordan. What is being targeted and how is this conveying the regime's message? Next, we turn to an unexpected escalation in the Gulf: The Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen said they launched missiles and drones at Saudi Arabia’s Abha International Airport on Monday in response to airstrikes they blamed on Saudi Arabia that struck Sanaa International Airport earlier in the day. What is behind this flare-up? And finally, Rome is host this week to a sixth round of talks between Israel and Lebanon. On the agenda is a pilot IDF pullout from specific locations in southern Lebanon. Berman raises the pluses and minuses of this plan. Check out The Times of Israel's ongoing liveblog for more updates. A weekend of watching soccer left Arnold with a theory about why so many people quit right before it matters. With the US and Austria both knocked out of the World Cup, Arnold still couldn't stop watching because the game revealed a bigger lesson most people miss: 90% of a soccer match is failure. The missed shots, the cut-off passes, the runs that go nowhere. And that failure isn't the flaw in the game — it's the entire point. It's what creates the suspense, the drama, the joy of not knowing. We've been trained to see everyone else's wins and none of their misses — and it's warping how we handle our own. In this episode, Arnold makes the case that failure isn't the obstacle standing between you and the life you want. It might be the whole point. How do you know whether an AI agent is doing its job or quietly failing in production?Galileo is building the trust layer for AI. Its evaluation and observability platform is how enterprises measure whether the output of an LLM or an agent is good or bad.Galileo started before "LLM" was even a word. When Atin showed his prototype to Stanford's Chris Ré, his own first question was "what is a language model?" Today its customers include Reddit, Airbnb, P&G, Comcast, and six of the Fortune 50. Atin spent a decade in big tech before co-founding Galileo with Vikram Chatterji in early 2021. He worked on the knowledge graphs behind Siri at Apple, then became one of the leads and architects of Michelangelo, Uber's AI platform, that hosts thousands of models across pricing, ETA, and demand. That Uber experience taught him the lesson the whole company is built on; that in AI, observability and evaluation are the real bottleneck, and bad data is catastrophic. As ChatGPT turned every AI output into something a user sees directly, the measurement problem went from academic to mission-critical. So Atin made a contrarian bet: instead of using giant LLMs to judge other LLMs, Galileo built Luna, small 1-3B parameter models that run evals at breakthrough latencies of 100 milliseconds and below. If you are excited about how AI actually gets shipped, trusted, and controlled inside real enterprises, this episode is for you.00:00 - Trailer01:14 - From India to Apple, Uber, and Galileo01:34 - Where the name "Galileo" came from02:38 - Building Siri's early knowledge graphs at Apple03:29 - Becoming an architect of Uber's Michelangelo05:15 - Why every AI output is now mission-critical06:45 - How Atin and Vikram zeroed in on Galileo07:42 - "What is a language model?"09:38 - Building the world's first feature store at Uber11:27 - Language models and tokens, explained simply14:19 - Where the observability insight came from15:53 - Quantifying uncertainty and hallucinations16:36 - The first customers and first use case19:15 - How the product evolved from a data scientist tool23:18 - Why ChatGPT changed everything for Galileo23:57 - The enterprise AI adoption curve, 2021 to 202626:35 - Why they built the Luna model28:32 - Turning LLM "writers" into "calculators"28:51 - Attacking the latency problem31:48 - Luna: the modeling and infrastructure innovation33:09 - What evals are, and why they blew up34:26 - The case for small language models36:58 - What "general reasoning" really means40:39 - AI usage is exploding — and why that matters43:08 - Online vs offline: the "it worked on my machine" problem44:33 - The evals flywheel and evals-driven development46:56 - Galileo in a nutshell47:39 - What real agents in production look like today49:30 - A sales intelligence platform, powered by Galileo50:47 - The agent control product52:12 - Building GTM as a hardcore engineer from India54:43 - Garbage in, garbage out: nailing the ICP55:42 - How the pitch changed from customer 1 to 2057:27 - Why Atin switched from CTO to CPO-------------India's talent has built the world's tech—now it's time to lead it.This mission goes beyond startups. Justin Noe spent just over 20 years as an active duty Marine before retiring and going all in on real estate. Today he runs a sales team, flips houses, and holds rentals in the Tampa area, and every piece of it is built on the Profit First system.Justin first read Profit First in 2019 while still in the military, but the real shift came at the end of 2022 when he looked back at a year of solid revenue and asked where all the money went. In January 2023 he fully implemented the system in his business and never looked back.In this conversation with host David Richter, Justin explains how he built a full year of owner's comp reserves for himself and his wife, why he genuinely looks forward to his monthly allocations, and the operational systems that now let him take a four week trip to France and Sweden while his team runs the business. He also shares the allocation formula he uses for new income streams: 10% to his church, 25% to debt paydown, 25% to investments, and 40% to family trips and home renovations. If you're a real estate investor making good money but wondering where it goes every month, this episode is a working model of cash flow management, paying yourself consistently, and the financial peace of mind that comes with mastering your money.Episode Highlights[0:30] – David introduces Justin Noe and why his Profit First implementation is the model most investors never reach[2:12] – Justin's background, just over 20 years as an active duty Marine, now retired and in real estate full time[2:52] – Discovering Profit First in 2019 through BiggerPockets while building a rental portfolio from inside the military[4:15] – The end of year wake up call, where is all the money going, and rereading the book for the fourth time[4:55] – Full Profit First implementation in January 2023, paired with David's Profit First for Real Estate Investors[6:49] – Attacking the owner's comp account and the 18 months it took to formalize paying himself[7:57] – The mission to bank a full year of salary for himself and his wife, achieved in 8 to 12 months[8:37] – Loaning money out of owner's comp for a short term deal while keeping four months of reserves untouched[10:39] – How his wife Lena got on board, 21 years together and a shared value driven money mindset[13:29] – Why Justin gets excited about monthly transfers, and the one account every entrepreneur dreads, taxes[15:49] – Starting his full time business with Profit First from day one and never knowing business without it[18:19] – The commitment behind yearly trips to Sweden and using profits to fund family travel and giving[21:52] – Hitting their highest grossing month while overseas and building a team that runs without them[24:43] – Hiring Brian on a trial basis and seeing the business improve within 30 days[27:47] – Justin's advice for owners who make money but feel broke, read Profit First and implement immediately[28:44] – The notes app allocation system, 10% church, 25% debt paydown, 25% investments, 40% fun5 Key TakeawaysPay yourself first and build real reserves. Justin set a goal of a full year of salary in his owner's comp account for himself and his wife, and hitting it removed the monthly stress of wondering if a paycheck was coming.Understand the concept, not just the mechanics. Justin didn't treat Profit First as a set of bank transfers. He absorbed the principle of only spending what's in the expense account, which is why the system stuck.Start early, even on your first deal. Justin implemented Profit First before his business had real revenue, so he never built the bad habit of pouring every dollar back into the business and ending the year with nothing.Reserves buy you options and time off. With 3 to 4 months in his operating account and a funded owner's comp, Justin can lend from his accounts, hire ahead of pain, and take four week trips overseas.Hire on a trial basis and let the finances lead. Justin commits to 60 or 90 day working trials, and because his money system showed him what he could afford, he hired for the right seats instead of panic hiring.Links & ResourcesJustin Noe Real Estate — justinnoerealestate.comFollow Justin on Instagram — @justinnoerealestateProfit First by Mike MichalowiczProfit First for Real Estate Investors by David RichterBiggerPocketsFor Growth — Justin's local growth group in the Tampa areaBook a free financial clarity call — simplecfo.comClosing RemarkIf this episode showed you anything, it's that peace of mind with money is built, not found. This week we're joined in this SG Classics episode by International Head Coach Francesco Tabellini for a deep dive into the concepts behind his team's relentless style of play.Tabellini opens the conversation by unpacking the idea of “canceling the pauses” in the game — eliminating the dead space between offense and defense, defense and offense, and every small conversion moment in between. From there, he details how Nymburk builds pace through first-three-step urgency, no-catch zones, early outlets, transition cutting, and a constant pressure-on-the-rim mentality. The conversation also explores offensive spacing and cutting principles, including baseline cuts on middle penetration, OKC cuts on baseline drives, shortening the pass, and why player confidence is central to shot selection. Tabellini explains how tagging up not only creates extra possessions, but also supports shooting freedom, transition defense, and full-court pressure.Later, the discussion moves into the defensive side of the floor, including the details of teaching tagging up, evaluating effort, structuring practice to build habits, and using hedge-and-plug coverage as a temporary switch designed to disrupt rhythm, force decisions, and keep opponents uncomfortable. What You'll Learn How Tabellini defines “relentless basketball” and why it starts with removing the pauses between phases of the game Why the first three steps in transition are a major teaching point for Nymburk How “no-catch zones,” pitch-aheads, and 28-meter cuts create early dynamic advantages Why aggressive cutting can solve spacing problems rather than create them How tagging up can become both an offensive rebounding system and a transition defense tool Why leaving the tag too early can kill the entire purpose of tagging up How Nymburk structures practice to reinforce tagging up without overloading players Why Tabellini views hedge-and-plug coverage as a temporary switch How slips, flips, and re-screens stress aggressive ball screen coverages Why activity, effort, and mistake-fixing are central to Tabellini's coaching philosophyTo join coaches and championship winning staffs from the NBA to High School from over 70 different countries taking advantage of an SG Plus membership, visit HERE!

The Rise of the Dionysian Dynasty in Syracuse. Guest Author: Professor James Romm. Syracuse, a Corinthian colony, rose to power under Dionysius the Elder during the 4th century BCE. Starting as a clerk, he became a demagogue by attacking elite leaders accused of collaborating with Carthage. He fortified "the island," a strategic peninsula with a natural spring, to secure his power. Dionysius broke Greek custom by adopting Persian-style polygamy, marrying Doris and Aristomache on one day to appear superhuman. This created rival lineages that sparked future civil conflict. The court was famous for "Syracuse tables," characterized by excessive luxury and wine. Dionysius died in 367 BCE, with rumors suggesting he was poisoned. 1
“David asked the soldiers standing nearby, ‘What will a man get for killing this Philistine and ending his defiance of Israel? Who is this pagan Philistine anyway, that he is allowed to defy the armies of the living God?’” (1 Samuel 17:26 NLT) David may have thought to himself, “This is a joke. This guy can’t be serious!” David was on an errand for his father, who had sent him to the front lines to deliver food to his brothers. He arrived to find Goliath bellowing from the valley, mocking the God of Israel, blaspheming his Lord that he loved so deeply. Goliath was a gigantic Philistine—nine feet and six inches of solid muscle, covered in armor. Every day he would taunt the Israelites, shouting something to the effect of, “I’ll make you a deal. Send someone out to fight me. If he wins, we’ll be your servants. But if I win, you’ll be our servants. Any takers?” No one wanted to go near him. Meanwhile, there stood David. Though David was a musician, a poet, and a tenderhearted guy, he was also as tough as nails. When there were threats against his sheep, he took them on. He had killed a lion and a bear. He wasn’t afraid. And he wanted to know why someone wasn’t responding to Goliath’s challenge. “David asked the soldiers standing nearby, ‘What will a man get for killing this Philistine and ending his defiance of Israel? Who is this pagan Philistine anyway, that he is allowed to defy the armies of the living God?’” (1 Samuel 17:26 NLT). David wasn’t intimidated by this giant because David looked at things differently than everyone else. Everyone else saw a giant of a man and, apparently, a small God. David, however, saw a big God. That giant didn’t intimidate David the way he intimidated everyone else. And we know how that perspective paid off for David in the end. Maybe you have a giant in your life that’s taunting you right now. Maybe it’s some kind of threat. Maybe it’s a habit or an addiction that has you in its grip. Maybe it’s a situation that needs to be dealt with once and for all. Or, in keeping with the theme of preparing for the Harvest Crusade next month, maybe your loved one does not have a personal relationship with Jesus. This giant, so to speak, seeks to control you. It seeks to hurt you. It seeks to torment you. What should you do? Like David, you should see God for who He is and your giant for what it is. Align your perspective with spiritual reality. Nothing in your life is too big for God. Nothing is too complex for Him to solve. Nothing is beyond His experience or expertise. Call on the Lord and pray for His power. Pay attention to His prompts. Be willing to step out of your comfort zone in faith, to do the hard—but doable—things necessary. Attack your giant and see what God does in and through you. Reflection question: How can you attack the most prominent giant in your life right now? Harvest Crusade tickets are fully claimed—but it’s not too late to participate and witness what God does on July 11. Invite your loved ones to watch online with you and make sure you join the waitlist in case more tickets become available. — The audio production of the podcast "Greg Laurie: Daily Devotions" utilizes Generative AI technology. It's officially summer in the Mile High City, and for many Denverites that means it's time to high-tail it to the nearest shady spot on the bank of a mountain creek. But what if instead of escaping our day-to-day lives, we Denverites were escaping a horde of bloodthirsty zombies? Would that shady spot offer good defenses? Provisions? And what about the long-term chances for survival? Denver Business Journal reporter Catie Cheshire joined producers Paul Karolyi and Olivia Jewell Love last year to swap notes and talk through our survival strategies for a zombie apocalypse in Denver. This episode first aired on Aug. 6, 2025. We discuss Catie's report on Coors Field for Westword as the inspiration for this episode, and Paul mentioned Catie's excellent recent report on the business leaders asking whether now is the time to demolish office buildings downtown. Olivia talked about Ark Tactical in Lakewood. Paul discussed nuclear missile silos. Who brought the best survival plan — Catie, Olivia or Paul? Also, we want to know who you'd team up with. Or are you going it alone somewhere else entirely? We want to hear from you! UT Martin Head Coach Jeremy Shulman joins the Slappin' Glass podcast for a deep dive into building a defensive system around conviction, trade-offs, and player fit.Shulman discusses the philosophy behind his unique defensive approach, including why his teams lean toward containment, switch heavily, borrow matchup-zone principles without playing zone, and still find ways to generate turnovers without relying on full-court pressure. He also details how he thinks about solving mismatches after switches, layering post coverage, recruiting for basketball IQ, and turning rotations and closeouts into a strength. In the “Start, Sub, or Sit” segment, Shulman breaks down attacking hedge coverage, including flipping the screen, RAM screens, and re-screens, before sharing broader thoughts on pick-and-roll offense, the power of the pass, and studying ideas that genuinely fit who you are as a coach. What you'll learn Why defensive identity has to begin with what a coach truly believes in How Shulman blends man-to-man, switching, and matchup-zone principles Why switching everything can reduce confusion against slips, ghosts, and misdirection How UT Martin thinks about post mismatches, doubles, digs, and defensive layers Why putting two on the ball can create steals without becoming a pressure team How scouting, film, and player processing shape scramble defense and closeouts Why trust is the hardest thing to build quickly in the current roster-building era How agents and NIL have changed the way coaches think about buy-in The teaching details behind flipping ball screens against hedge coverage Why Shulman views pick-and-roll as a way to move the ball, not just create downhill scoringTo join coaches and championship winning staffs from the NBA to High School from over 70 different countries taking advantage of an SG Plus membership, visit HERE!
