LeMayZing! Cars, Collecting, History, and Culture with Eric LeMay
Eric & Todd take the show on the road again, this time to the annual conference of the National Association of Automobile Museums, hosted by the Petersen Automotive Museum. During the conference, the group took several field trips to tour other car collections, including Jay Leno's Big Dog Garage, made famous on his long-running TV series. While we didn't get to interview Jay, he extensively toured the conferencees through his collection and was a kind and welcoming host.

Which cars do you think changed the world? Name 20 right now... This is a panel discussion from the 2019 National Association of Automobile Museums annual conference in South Bend talking about (and still debating) their answers to that question. But it's also an interesting insight into how historians, curators, and other museum professionals can collaborate to at least get a little consensus on some big questions. The audio isn't great; it was captured pretty raw in a large auditorium by Eric. These are some of best best minds in the world of automotive history...you might be curious about what they chose and the process of getting there..
Eric talks about his time in South Bend, Indiana for the National Association of Automobile Museums annual conference hosted wonderfully by the Studebaker National Museum. This includes trying to get onto the Notre Dame Stadium grass and some observations South Bend. But the bulk of the show is a presentation by CPAs from the firm Kruggel Lawton talking about the effects of the new tax laws on non-profits and things non-profits should be thinking about as we roll through 2019.
