Some of our early episodes have fallen off the iTunes feed, so here is another of our old classic episodes, back when Em did her solo show. It's Uncovering the Bronze Age #2!-------------------------------------------------------Em dives back into her coverage of the Bronze Age as she discusses two stories featuring The Dark Knight Detective, and the introduction of two favorite Batman antagonists."Into the Den of the Death-Dealers," by Dennis O'Neil, Bob Brown, & Dick Giordano, from Detective Comics #411.AND"Daughter of the Demon," by Dennis O'Neil, Neal Adams, & Dick Giordano, from Batman #232.Can Batman topple an international crime ring, headed by a villain with a ridiculous name? Where exactly is Thailayinam? Will Batman be willing to work with the clearly villainous Ras al Ghul to rescue Robin and Talia? And just why is Batman so keen on dressing up as old Asian people!?! Listen to the episode and find out!Promo #1: Bailey's Batman PodcastPromo #2: Flash PulpPromo #3: Ace KilroyClick on the player below to listen to the episode:  Right-click to download episode directly:You may also subscribe to the podcast through iTunes or the RSS Feed.Send e-mail feedback to relativelygeeky@gmail.com "Like" us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/relativelygeekyYou can follow the network on Twitter @Relatively_Geek
In this week's ball-rebelling episode, Magnus kicks off a new a three-part miniseries all about Marvel's Civil War. Gee, could this possibly be a tie-in with Captain America: Civil War? Joining in for the fun this week is Michael Bailey, host of From Crisis to Crisis: A Superman Podcast, Views from the Longbox, Bailey's Batman Podcast and other podcasts too numerous to mention here. Suffice it to say, he's a very busy man! This week's adventure starts off literally with a bang, His Excellency's lovely girlfriend drops by for a *VERY* brief cameo appearance and, oh yeah, Magnus and Bailey shoot the bull about the Illuminati one-shot special before diving balls-first into a hard, deep, lengthy, penetrating discussion of the Civil War miniseries. Points are raised, political ramifications are considered, real life comparisons are somewhat artfully avoided and a wonderful time is had by all! For those determined to ruin the Internet for everyone else by perpetuating click-bait on Facebook, "Bailey said *WHAT* about Alex Maleev?!" Due to the avalanche of ass-kickery, unfortunately there was just no time for listener feedback this week. Something will need to be done about the backlog of feedback. But don't worry, loyal subjects, your leader has a few ideas. But in the meantime, don't let the lack of feedback this time get you down! You can still offer your feeble effort at tribute! You humble serfs are always welcome to kiss your benevolent leader's ring. Corrupt DiManzocorp interns are ready, willing, able and eager to accept your bribe to present your meager missives to your wise emperor. The email address to use is trentusmagnus@gmail.com as the other seems to be having technical problems. In an another sublime act of truly unprecedented charity, the leader permits you lowly rabble to suggest topics for a future episode. Thus, petitions may be sent to trentusmagnus@gmail.com for DiManzocorp interns to review, whereupon your leader might consider thinking about the possibility of potentially discussing whatever you have in mind some day. And that's a promise!

WARNING! THIS EPISODE OF BBP CONTAINS SOME R RATED LANGUAGE, INCLUDING F BOMBS! LISTENER DISCRETION IS ADVISED! WARNING! This special episode of Bailey's Batman Podcast was recorded "on location" at DragonCon 2012. My good buddy Shag and I sat down for about an hour and talked about the con, what Batman stuff I had purchased and gotten signed and even a fun story that I learned from former Batman writer Jim Starlin.
Donovan Morgan Grant and Michael Kaiser join me to talk about the first two issues of DARK KNIGHT RETURNS. The fact that an animated film based on that story is coming on on the same day is purely conincidental in that not at all kind of way.
Grab a drink, pop some popcorn, warm up the DVD player and turn down the lights! This week I present my commentary for the classic 1989 BATMAN film!
