Welcome to Episode 28! Today's guest is a fireball of a human, an entrepreneur from head to toe whom I've looked up to for over a decade. Her name is Brandi Marino and she's the founder of a boutique fitness studio franchise called BEYOND Studios, which began here in Dallas. Brandi is the definition of a pioneer in the fitness industry especially in Dallas. She's real, #unfiltered and has a lot to say. Don't miss this one! Her fitness career started in Los Angeles after leaving the medical industry. She worked for many years at UCLA, USC, and Cedars-Sinai in spine orthopedics. She traded her scrubs for spandex and started training a group of neurosurgeons at Cedars Sinai in Beverly Hills. She then opened BEYOND Studios in Dallas, Texas. The motivation behind BEYOND was finding a way to help people incorporate fitness into their life daily. She founded BEYOND with the idea that traditional fitness needed to be turned upside down. She knew if she could provide ENERGY in a studio, clients would be more likely to BELIEVE it is possible to go beyond their LIMITS and be EMPOWERED to make positive changes in their lives. These four words are what you see every day when you walk into a BEYOND Studio. Brandi franchised BEYOND Studios and now lives in Fresno, California near her family and also opened up a BEYOND Studios and BEYOND500 there as well.
