HALO Talks

From struggling to justify the expense of two gym memberships, to attempting to revolutionize the fitness industry, Borislava Baeva's unexpected twist on a traditional model is changing the game. But what surprises lie ahead for this innovator and her growing platform? Changing the way "things have always been done" is--putting it mildly--a challenge for any entrepreneur. Baeva is a finance expert turned fitness entrepreneur and the creator of MyStrongCircle. As a former Director of Financial Planning at Life Fitness, Borislava knows the in's and out's of the HALO (Health, Active Lifestyle, Outdoor) sector. Her love for yoga and cycling, along with her frustration over juggling multiple memberships, inspired her to create MyStrongCircle – a platform that allows users to bundle their favorite fitness studio memberships for a more personalized experience. Borislava is passionate about making fitness and wellness accessible to everyone, and she's driven to expand MyStrongCircle into major markets across the US and beyond. Like most (good!) business ideas, MyStrongCircle came from a place of solving a personal frustration. With a passion for yoga and an increasing interest in cycling, she struggled to justify the expense of maintaining two separate gym memberships. Drawing inspiration from the airline industry, Borislava developed a model that allowed individuals to bundle their favorite fitness studios into a single membership, promoting variety and accessibility. Challenges for Studios Fitness studios often face challenges in attracting new members and retaining their existing ones. They may struggle to differentiate themselves in the (very!) competitive fitness landscape and address the ever-evolving preferences and expectations of their target audience. Borislava highlighted some of the problems studios typically encounter. Many of them can be efficiently addressed by the MyStrongCircle bundling model, which facilitates direct relationships, offers unlimited classes, and enhances the overall fitness experience for members. This attracts loyal customers, aids in retention, and provides studios with a more targeted audience. In this episode, Pete and Borislava discuss: MyStrongCircle's innovative pricing approach and tailored experience for fitness fanatics.  Understanding the many advantages of combining memberships for an array of fitness studios. Recognizing the crucial role of focusing on sales and relationship-building over strictly just financial projections for budding entrepreneurs. The necessity of assembling a solid team and forging real-world connections. Check out MyStrongCircle for personalized bundles of fitness classes and studios to gain access to the workouts you love! If you're a studio owner? Considering partnering with them to promote your brand and gain exposure to a much broader audience. Dr. Jon Herting and special guest Alisa Rose discussed Alisa's 11-year-long journey of entrepreneurship in the fitness industry. She began Art Fitness in North Wilmington eleven years ago with the aim of creating a unique, intimate experience for its members that focused on both physical and mental health. Alisa believes that she has created something special over these years and is looking forward to the new horizons her business is taking on. Success is not something that happens overnight, it is a journey that takes time, dedication, and consistency. For Alisa Rose, the founder of Art Fitness in North Wilmington, Pennsylvania, success was a journey that has taken 11 years to build. Alisa comes from a corporate background, and she noticed that people in the corporate world often gain weight and their weight fluctuates. She wanted to create a fitness studio that focused on the personal touch and cared more about the overall health of its members. Alisa did her research and found that what was missing in the fitness industry was a boutique-style fitness studio that was not crowded and had a community atmosphere. Alisa wanted to target individuals who felt out of place in a normal gym, who hated the crowds, and who wanted to go somewhere where they felt comfortable and could relate to other individuals like themselves. Her mission and goal were to meet people right where they are and help them live fuller, more active life. At Art Fitness, Alisa focuses on one-on-one training, post-rehab, and video. She creates connections for clients so they can come out of the rehab process in the most optimized way possible.

This episode is going to cause you to question a lot about our industry, and how you're offering the experience of exercise in your business. Because when it comes to inclusion, there is so much that we don't think of that is causing a massive population of people to feel unwelcome and defeated by what you're offering, rather than the way you hope they feel- inspired and excited to come back again. And I guarantee most of it is flying under your radar.   Things like… how you program your workouts, how you coach your workouts… whether or not offering pre-choreographed classes are the right thing to offer. How you've positioned your equipment in the room, and what that equipment is in the first place. Even down to what we define as “fit” or “fitness” in the first place! You'll learn about why each of those and more might be culprits by listening to this episode today.   What's so interesting to me is that the biggest concern that we hear fitness business owners talk about is their ability to attract new clients, or get clients to stay longer, and in this episode, you'll learn that the answer to that may come from the realization that you've unconsciously and unintentionally been scaring away a huge potential clientele, simply from adopting too limited a view of what your business can be.   SHOW NOTES: https://www.tashaedwards.com/ https://www.instagram.com/iamtashaedwards/

LADYLIKE - Die Podcast-Show: Der Talk über Sex, Liebe & Erotik

If you're a regular listener of the show, you know we talk a lot about leveraging your uniqueness to scale your business- whether that be your unique origin story, your core values, your beliefs, or your unique skills. The reason is because #1, there is no one else like you in the world, and you can immediately set yourself apart from competitors this way, and #2, your clients aren't buying your workouts- they're making a buying decision based on how you make them feel- and that comes from what you share about your beliefs and values, and how you believe your unique approach can change their life.   The best way to communicate this is through utilizing the power of story, and in Episode 190, we dove deep into just how powerful storytelling is to scale your business and find success. But something we didn't talk about is specifically how to do that.   That's why we invited back our guest today- so he can teach you how to find that leverage to #1- get more clients and make more money, #2, leverage how you do what you do by packaging or productizing your values and beliefs and the way you do what you do, and #3, how you can start to get others to reach out to you for opportunities.   Of all the episodes we've done, I think that what we talk about today is one of the simplest and most effective ways to scale your business based solely on leveraging who you are and what you believe. On that note, please welcome back Jude Charles to the show.   LINKS: https://athleticgreens.com/fcm Jude's Story Bank Journal Jude's Newsletter

How important is it to build a warm, supportive fitenss community for people over 50?  That's the question we're going to answer today on Optimal Aging, with one special guest serving as an example of the kind of powerful outreach and practices that many of the best fitness businesses provide. Guest Summer Montabone is the owner of Summer's Fitness studio in North Canton, Ohio, where she recently celebrated her 15th anniversary in business, serving primarily the over-50 demographic. Summer has 30 years of fitness experience and is a former champion bodybuilder who shifted gears after a startling bout with postpartum depression.  Summer has been a subscriber to Prime Fit Content for a while now, and I love how she uses the material to engage her audience of clients, prospects, and the broader community.  I asked her onto the show to talk about how she builds her culture and community, and the interaciotn she has with her community at large. I love seeing her Facebook feed every day because it shows the positive energy and environment she's created there. She's obviously doing something right after 15 years, and so I thought you would enjoy hearing Summer talk about her journey, success, and – yes—community.Resources and LinksSummer's FitnessNaamly – Support our advertiser, who helps you keep in touch with your membersLife Priority Supplements -- Affiliate Discount code hereFunctional Aging Institute -- Use FAIMM50 discount codePrime Fit Content – Engage the over-50 market

In this episode, we are diving into the role of the group fitness manager, which in almost 300 episodes is a topic that we haven't really touched on before... and yet it was one of the most vital - albeit mysterious - roles of any club or studio.   We know that if you are a studio owner, you may be performing this role yourself. OR if you're looking to hire someone to fill this position, where do you even begin? As you'll quickly learn in this episode, there is no roadmap or playbook for a group fitness manager and the  job can be dense and intense.   But it's also really dynamic, exciting, and fulfilling and if you're a fitpro listening to our podcast you might be thinking, what opportunities lie in my future when I don't want to teach 10-15 classes a week anymore, where can my experience take my career in fitness. We talk here every week about how fitness and health businesses can communicate their messages to the over-50 market. And one of the most fascinating topics we've ever covered is the connection between physical exercise and brain health. Despite tons of research solidifying the connection, most people probably still don't know that they can lower their chances of cognitive decline and even dementia through exercise.Back in July 2021, I spoke with the folks behind Activate, a studio being developed in Cincinnati that combines physical exercise and brain exercise in a way that might be unique today but should become more common as we move forward. It just makes so much sense.Since July 2021, they've had their soft opening and they're about to have their grand opening this month, September 2022. The premise is simple and fascinating — we keep our brains healthier and stronger by exercising them at the same time we exercise our bodies. Listen to this update for more on the brain-body connection — and also some helpful communications tips from a fitness studio that's right now rolling out its successful launch. Here's my conversation with John Spencer and Marie Stoner of Activate Brain and Body.Resources and LinksActivate Brain & BodyPrime Fit Content – Engage the over-50 marketNaamly – Support our advertiser, who helps you keep in touch with your members

Klarer Vergleichssieger. Danke, Ende. Du möchtest mehr über unsere Werbepartner erfahren? Hier findest du alle Infos & Rabatte: https://linktr.ee/BaywatchBerlin
