My journey started in Oakland, California where I was born… Saint Louis where I was raised… in Saint Louis, I discovered my talent for music/singing writing, anything creative I was into or still is, I was always the best drawer in the class, the best writer. I remember writing a poem in 9th grade, my teacher told me I should be taking College AP courses after she read my poem, so yeah, I feel like a genius, it has always been a part of my makeup/DNA but honestly, I was a class clown so they never worked out… the reason why I was a class clown because the school work was remedial, for me, it was too easy, so I never took it seriously but you could catch me dreaming off to music at all times of the day. I’d say it wasn’t till after high school was when I really took music seriously, I ended linking up with a friend of mine who goes by the name SHVL, he helped me a lot with learning how to engineer and just overall recording.We were hella cool best friends type shit but we fell off… still best regards always though… I will always give credit where it’s due… but upon realizing my potential prowess for music, I discovered even more how much I love myself and those around me. In my music, I’ve made it a point to always try to teach what can someone take away from what they just heard. Does it invoke any spirits? Does it make you feel better? Wiser/cooler after you listen to one of my songs? I strive for creating from my heart, and soul what feels natural.

Both of my parents are from Kingston, so I spent a lot of time there as a youth growing up. Lagos reminded me a lot of Kingston, just bigger. A lot of the issues that we face in Jamaica are the same issues that plague other third world countries, from poverty, to education, crime, energy, all that. When my manager brought me the opportunity to be a part of the #MakeTheFuture initiative with Shell, and I got to see what they were trying to do with reusable sustainable energy in the third world, it was a no brainer.

Eighteen year old, Alhaji Barrie, known as “AJ Supa Fly” (ASF), has been combining quotable HipHop metaphors since the age of thirteen, with catchy melodies that are sure to stick with its listeners in this new generation of HipHop. Born to Nigerian parents who migrated to New York in 1987 where ASF was born in 2001. The youngest of six children, ASF’s parents having been made aware of the harsh realities of young black males in major urban cities like New York due to a traumatic experience that would shape their family forever; made a conscious decision to establish stricter parenting for him moving forward. ASF attended ASM II Charter School where out of his love for Hip-Hop he participated in the music club and learned the relevant history of Hip-Hop, along with other forms of music. It was here that ASF began to entertain the idea of becoming a rapper, honing his skills and discovering his talents. He decided “I have something to say, they need to know how good I am.”Upon graduation in 2018, ASF was accepted into NYU at seventeen years old. While at NYU, he signed with Stand Down Management and New Road Records to begin his career as New York’s new high bred version of HipHop! Gabriel Tirado, formerly known as “2 Gudda,” is an American Rapper, Singer and Songwriter of Puerto Rican & African American descent. Born in 1994, he was raised in a single parent household in Riviera Beach,FL and Like much of the youth in that area, Tirado fell victim to the toxicity of his environment and at an early age after continuously bouncing around due to his family's inability to make ends meet.This premature exposure to adversity had a profound effect on Gabriel and he soon developed a "by any means necessary" attitude. Though at the time he was misguided, it was this entrepreneurial spirit that was cultivated on the streets that would transform him into a thriving business man at the tender age of 19.

Trilly Polk is a mix of country, Zydeco, and rap, three influences that shouldn’t be a stretch when considering he comes from Houston. In 2017 ESG released a video for “Southside Still Holdin (Remix)"which featured Trilly Polk walking out of Carrington’s sporting a shiny suit and a bow tie while spitting his cadence, which is equal rap and equal chorus. It’s a combination that is great for radio play. He is as exciting and entertaining as he is humble, often dropping freestyles while performing as an Uber driver. This is the headache of the current copycat hip-hop culture permeating the airwaves in today’s mainstream music industry. However, sifting deeper into the underground, we may be fortunate to find real treasure in hip-hop. A sound that began as raw, and inspiring: a truly grassroots approach to music and lyricism. Yes, artists and groups who stay true to the genre’s grounded ethos still exist, and yes, you have stumbled on some gold by finding North Carolina’s upcoming hip-hop/rap talent – JAE Mansa. A two-man team comprising of two passionate hip-hop creatives, Daron “Jae” Johnson and Brandon “B” Boone, their earthly sound is enveloped by a connected sense of family as both have grown up together as close cousins as they partnered through their musical development, as budding shorties to matured professionals.

Determine to follow his dreams, Geezy Escobar, took (what he considers) a “sure gamble,” and invested all his funds on his passion. Focused and deciding to never look back he put all his resources into building his brand. Not wavered by outsiders, he shot his first music video “Dior.” Shortly after, he came across Authentic Empire’s CEO. LA the Boomman, whose known throughout Atlanta for scouting talent and taking it to undeniable levels. Thoroughly impressed by the talent and drive Geezy possessed, Boomman signed him in 2018 to Authentic Empire hoping to make him Atlanta’s next big rap mogul. A year later, his first mixtape Section 8 Mindstate, was released in April 2019. The streets took heed, and he began to create a buz z around the city. With his hit single titled “Cool” featuring Freshman XXL artist Da Baby, he is making his mark within the industry.

Billboard Songwriter/Producer James Worthy is one of the breakout producers in the industry. Worthy has taught himself all the tips & trades when it comes to creating a masterpiece within his musical ability. Accompanying his musical flexibility, James has credits with various artists including Grammy Nominated Musicians & Award Winners Like: B Angie B, Arrested Development, Men At Large, Sara Stokes, Robin S, Tony Sunshine of Terror Squad, Truth Hurts, Bobby Brown, Petey Pablo, Yung Berg, Bonecrusher, MMG, T-Pain, Tyra B, Future, Amanda Cole of En Vogue, Bobby Valentino, and so many others. After three years of making his name on the mixtape circuit, Atlanta rapper Mykko Montana broke through in 2011 with the club track "Do It." After the local newspaper published a teen Mykko's tribute to his recently deceased Grandmother, the future MC gained confidence in his ability to write. Mixtapes like The Overdraft and Applying Pressure would get him noticed by hip-hop producer Nitti who signed Mykko to his label in 2010. The single and video for "Do It" would land in 2011 with "Bessy, Bessy, Bessy" following in 2013.

Pooh Hicks is a socialite and the wife of music producer Hiriam Hicks, originally from Detroit, Michigan.The two met while she was working as a stripper. She is openly bisexual and her and her husband have an open marriage. Pooh joins the supporting cast in season eight, as an estranged former friend of Karlie's. Pooh reveals the two had a threesome with her husband, igniting a violent feud between the two.
