A biblical church is marked by people who receive God's Word with open hearts, recognize it as His truth, and experience the result of lives transformed. Teacher - Tom Harrigan
FUELING THE ENGINE”.We were reminded that Church is not an event, but a living organism to which we belong (1 Corinthians 12:12, 21).Here are a few key points from the service:1️⃣ Many of us think of “church” as a place we go to or a program we watch. But in God's design, the Church is a body, every part connected, every member needed.2️⃣ Just like we feel the pain of a toothache when one small part of the body is hurt, the absence or silence of one member affects the whole. Our presence, voice, and contribution matter, not just to people, but to God Himself (Numbers 11:27, Ephesians 4:16).3️⃣ The early Church understood this. They weren't spectators; they were participants. Just like in Numbers 11:27, where even those who did not gather still received the Spirit, God has marked us as part of His family.4️⃣ Belonging comes with responsibility. Ephesians 4:16 says that every joint supplies. We must be dependable for our contributions to the corporate mission, not as silent spectators, but as active participants. Apostle also showed us, from Scripture, what a Biblical Church really looks like, and how it differs from today's common idea of church. This brings us to the acronym ICAME:

This sermon emphasizes the importance of Biblical church membership, which is centered on a supernatural, attention-grabbing love for God and one another. It challenges the common misconception of church membership as a social club and highlights that the church is meant to reflect God's love through deep commitment, mutual care, and sacrificial love, empowered by the Holy Spirit. True church membership is a covenantal relationship, where believers support each other, model Christ-like love, and fulfill God's purpose for the church in the world.

The Early Church in the second chapter of Acts shows us what God intends His church to look like today. We need to do a heart check to determine if we make church all about us. Or do we, like those of the Acts 2 church display the marks of true followers of Christ? Are we giving ourselves to the teaching of God's Word, prayer, fellowship with other believers and are we consistent in sharing the blessings and goodness of God with those in need? Hopefully, we will intentionally choose to make church all about Him. By Dave Bartlett
All of our theology & doctrine will be based on scripture. We will continue steadfastly in all three biblical teachings of the Apostle's Doctrine: 1) The doctrine of Baptism of Holy Spirit & Fire (Acts 1:4) - Believers need power. 2) The doctrine of Signs & Wonders (Acts 2:43) - They were done through the apostles. God wants to work signs and wonders through YOU, through the power of the Spirit of God to flow through. 3) The doctrine of Authority of the Believer (Mark 1:21-28) - Jesus has given us the authority over ALL the power of the enemy. "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16 SERMON NOTES: https://www.bible.com/events/49352302 The Roads Church: https://theroads.church
Church growth is about each of us growing in our relationship with Jesus, with the joints of the body in place both collectively and in our lives individually. And then as followers of Jesus, we must be willing to testify about our relationship with Jesus and what He is doing in our life. Our testimony should exhort/urge other people to take action and do something with it. TESTIFY & EXHORT! Let me tell you about Jesus! "A person with an argument is not match for a person with an experience." And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.” Acts 2:40 SERMON NOTES: https://www.bible.com/events/49347598 The Roads Church: https://theroads.church
Revelation chapters two and three provide us with a tour of an ancient mail route in the Roman Empire. The first stop on the tour was the church at Ephesus. This was a church that was committed to sound doctrine but had grown cold in it's affections. The issue is that doctrinal perfection in a cold church is just as dangerous as doctrinal error in a loving church. A Biblical Church focuses on both. Let's join Pastor Brian for this week's message from Revelation, chapter 2, verses one through seven for a sermon entitled, “Ephesus - the Church of Abandoned Love.
Today we shared our vision for the future of Alpine Bible Church. Our county here in Utah is one of the most under-served areas when it comes to having a Biblical Church. As the church has grown through the years, we've reached the point where we simply lack the space to effectively reach our community with the Gospel.
