The Men Of Action Present a new spinoff series called “The Importance of Seeing Ernest”. Remember the Ernest films from the 80's & 90's starring Jim Varney? No! Well, Andrew Crupi of 'The Men of Action Podcast' does and during the 2021 Adelaide Fringe Festival he watched all 9 Ernest films in release order & presented his theory on "The Importance of Seeing Ernest” to a live theatre audience at the amazing “House Of Spaghetti”venue. Each episode in this spinoff MOA Podcast series will focus on 1 film in the Ernest cannon that Crupi and 2 guest hosts watched then went out on stage to discuss as a live comedy podcast. Will we find a grand connected narrative through the films? Will Crupi go mad? Will we finally understand what Ernest ment? Will anyone be interested in this? Have a listen to each episode and decide for yourself. Episode 1 is Ernest Goes to Camp (1987) and my Co- hosts were Eddie Morrison and Peter Cortissos. Each show was recorded live on stage, some recorded better than others, so please excuse any drops or distortions in sound quality, I have done my best to clean it in the edit. NOTE: Men Of Action fans we will still be releasing new MOA Podcast episodes later in the year. We just needed to take some time off this year for personal and professional reasons and these episodes of “The Importance of Seeing Ernest” were gathering dust in the Pantheon so we thought it best to release them before they exploded.
On this episode of “The Men of Action Podcast'' it's another Paul Verhoeven movie so we called in reinforcements, a grizzled old veteran from our past whose knowledge of giant bugs and spaceships is unmatched, Mr Eddie Morrison. A movie Graham, Eddie and Crupi had all seen before … because of course we had? Would you like to know more? Checkout the Starship Troopers IMBD Page Would you like to know more? On this Episode of “The Men Of Action Podcast” Crupi and Graham found themselves out gunned on the mean neo-future streets of Detroit and called in reinforcements from their dark past. Oh buddy, this is a real shoot the shit episode. This week I had on returning guest and fellow comedian Eddie Morrison. We talked about everything and really nothing for about an hour, thats all I really got for this one. No intro this week also, just straight episode.
Elena and Petey sit down with long-time friend and rising star in DC Comedy, Eddie Morrison, to discuss how Eddie got into comedy(cough cough Petey Steele), how amazing the DC scene is and why the others are only decent, in an uproarious episode of the True Dope Vibes(no over-the-counter currents)
Martin Amini sits down with DC Comedian Eddie Morrison and discusses starting out in 2014, branding, and doing a show at the Kennedy Center. Enjoy!!
This is the first live recorded episode done in front of a live audience, all six of them. It was a blast any way and I’m looking forward to the future live episodes. I sat down with Haywood Turnipseed, Franqi French and Eddie Morrison. This was recorded at the DC Drafthouse. Enjoy.
I tried to have a Valentines day themed episode for this week but things don’t always go to plan. This week local comics Denise Taylor and Eddie Morrison return to talk relationships, goals, pets, first love and so on and so on. This is a marathon of a episode that you probably could listen to in two parts. We take a break at 1 hour and 6 minutes so maybe you can too, or do whatever you want, I don’t care. Enjoy this “shooting the shit” episode.
Well I’m back after having the first missed week in Smiley History, whatever. On this Ep I have on three local comedians, Eddie Morrison, Andrew “Cuck” and Denise Taylor. We talk the talk and walk the walk. Enjoy!
I always strive for perfection when it comes to doing the podcast, but on this episode I fucked up. I had one of the mic levels set too high and there is a annoying distortion that I worked hours on to fix with no luck. But this episode was so great I posted it any way so do your best to look past it. I have two local comics on, Eddie Morrison and Denise Taylor. We all started together and they are both hilarious. Enjoy this episode of endless riffs folks.
Hey ya kids, here is another episode of the world renown and award winning podcast SMILEY FROWN! Today I sit down with my good friend Eddie Morrison. We discuss what could become of are young shitty comedy carriers. We also talk about booze, how Eddie likes it. Enjoy folks.
Last night I had a lackluster sit down with the gang on the back porch and ended up with this. Happy Friday everyone and enjoy the bonus episode.
In this bonus episode I recored the convo Jack, Jose and I had on are way from the Draft House Saturday show to Eddies apartment on H Street. Eddie only comes in at the last 30 secs but I tagged him anyway becasue hey, we all need content. Enjoy this ridiculous episode for what it is and have a great weekend.
Goodbye, Mad March, I knew him, Horatio. Another year, another Adelaide Fringe has passed us by. But this time, instead of fanfare and much backslapping about ticket sales and success, we had a strong undercurrent of discontent from some of the more 'fringe'like performers. Tonight, we hold a round table discussion with an Adelaide Festival show director, Andy Packer, who had a sell out show, The Young King, and we talk to an actor and director from a Fringe production, Eddie Morrison and Dave Hirst, who put on Maximum Breakdown at The Fringe. Plus, we'll include comments from English Fringe performer, Juliette Burton, and Irish performer, Aidan Killian, with their perspectives on the Adelaide Fringe as 'outsiders'. For the Made To Move Minute, Max Martin ... will conduct a postmortem on the first quarter of 2016 from a health perspective. Wine tonight is S C Pannell Winemakers' 2014 Tempranillo. In IS IT NEWS, Nigel quizzes us on our knowledge of ... disappointing theatre. The Adelaide Visa Council features ... two curious cases. And we head to Hindley Street in the Musical Pilgrimage. But first, we launch with David Washington from InDaily with his midweek news wrap, Talk Of The Town. What's that you say "Hey, By Its Cover, it's a New year so how about a New episode already, god, you guys, seriously, what is your deal?" Firstly, calm down, why so much attitude? Secondly, here it is. The boys are back in the house with long time friend of the show Eddie Morrison. (After the countless pleading letters we had let in on) We learn about what it takes to a great fantasy tale and we have a probably to long look into the Australian film industry and suburban dream. It's great, so listen with all your might!
