This week, we've got one of the most prominent and longest-running Guntubers on the show. InRangeTV's Karl Kasarda joins the podcast to discuss his view of the Second Amendment and the backlash his advocacy has generates from other sections of the gun owning community. He argues gun rights belong to everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, or sexual orientation. Not everyone agrees with that list. Kasarda said those pushing for a more limited view of who the Second Amendment protects are doing a disservice to the gun-rights cause. Some, he said, are downright hateful and harassing. But he argued even those that aren't are shrinking the number of people who could be on their side. He also gives some insight into what it's like to run a popular gun channel on YouTube and why he's proactively demonitized his videos to minimize how much power the platform has over his ability to make videos. Lynx Brutality 2024 is an international two-gun competition similar to other "Brutality" events found across the globe. Inspired and derived from two gun action challenge matches organized by Karl Kasarda and Ian McCollum of InRnageTV, Lynx Brutality is the Slovenian variant of the match that invites all competitors to demonstrate both their shooting skill and their grit through a grueling two-day, 10-stage match. Competitors at Lynx Brutality of course need a whole lot of gear if they're to participate in the Armored division and one such competitor is one we've spoken to before on the TFB Podcast, Mr. Mike Burns aka Bloke On The Range. While Mike has contributed to TFB and TFBTV in the past, these days Mike focuses entirely on his own channel where he primarily talks about historical weapons and their practical application. Mike has some interesting thoughts on his setup this year which was a "LARP" of an Iraqi National Policeman. Today we'll get his full gear breakdown as well as what some of his best and worst moments were from Lynx Brutality 2024. Please welcome Bloke On The Range back to the program! In our continuing coverage of Finnish Brutality 2023, it's only approprate that we bring on one of the founding members of the Brutality Matches - Ian McCollum from Forgotten Weapons! Ian along with Karl Kasarda of InRange TV started up the series of Brutality Matches back in 2018 after developing them from some local Arizona "Two Gun Action Challenge Matches." If you want to hear the full story on that, take a look back in our episode archive for our coverage of Woodland Brutality 2022 where Karl Kasarda and Russell Phagan give a full breakdown of how the matches were inspired, and how their unique ruleset works to create a highly fun yet competitive shooting environment. Today Ian joins us to talk about his personal experiences at Finnish Brutality 2023 with me in the media squad, as well as some areas where he thinks he could have done better, and finally, some advice for those considering attending a Brutality match anywhere in the world. Please give a warm welcome to the host of the Forgotten Weapons YouTube channel, Ian McCollum Ian's full match breakdown of Finnish Brutality 2023 ForgottenWeapons - Ian McCollum - Instagram Forgotten Weapons Website Thank you to Varusteleka for Sponsoring the event!

In today's episode we bring back Karl Kasarda of InRangeTV and Russell Phagan of KE Arms to talk about the WWSD 2020 rifle project. The WWSD 2020 has quite the tale in terms of how it came to be one of Brownells best selling rifles. Like most projects, it started out as just an idea but quickly grew to become something much more than that. Today both Karl and Russel explain the how the WWSD 2020 came to be the way it is, how KE Arms became involved in the project, and where KE Arms and the WWSD project are headed in the future. Please welcome once again, Russell and Karl to the program.
Today on the show we have special guests Russell Phagan of KE Arms and Karl Kasarda from InRangeTV. Both of these gentlemen are largely responsible for the organization, and implementation of InRangeTV's series of Brutality matches like Desert Brutality, Woodland Brutality, Finnish Brutality, and the new Lynx and Cornfield Brutality matches. Each Brutality match is unique and offers the shooter several challenging and phyiscally demanding courses of fire but are at their core some of the most fun you can have with firearms while practicing good fundamentals. Today Russell and Karl join me on the TFB B-Side podcast to go in-deph on the subject of this year's Woodland Brutlaity 2022 and talk a bit more in detail about the challenges, purpose and design of Brutality Matches. If you find today's podcast interesting and want to learn more or even sign up to participate in an InRangeTV Brutality match, you can visit http://brutalitymatches.org/ to learn more about how to sign up and what you'll need to participate.
