Same Old Gun Control Nonsense Ways and Means fucks us again on the SHORT and HPA.,The speaker expresses frustration regarding the recent markup from the House Ways and Means Committee concerning the Hearing Protection Act and related legislation. Despite efforts to remove certain firearms from the National Firearms Act (NFA), key provisions, such as the removal of short-barreled rifles and shotguns, were not included, leaving the registry intact. While there are some positive changes, like reducing the tax for firearm silencers, the speaker is critical of the overall outcome and urges listeners to take action by contacting committee members to demand more substantial reforms. The speaker emphasizes the importance of public pressure and staying engaged in the legislative process, highlighting the potential for change if citizens remain active and vocal. Well, not you Shawn. Not you Jeremy. Not you Nick. Not really Savage either. Anyway... I had a thought the other day. Has there ever been or what do you think about a recoil suppression device, similar to a dead blow hammer. Some sort of sand filled cavity that would reciprocate more softly? I don't know, more of a concept idea. Interesting to think about I guess. P.s. Cumin Ciderbox - Double tap 404, in regards to the name/fruit orange- The color used to be called something else in English, a close conjugate of the Spanish ‘Naranja”. The fruit was already “orange” when the two became so closely linked that people just used the fruit to refer to the color. Think “Lime Green” every time someone refers to anything green to the point people forget the word “green”. That's what happened to orange. As for a question- how do you like your eggs? Jared Polis & Democrats' Newest Gun Law is a Constitutional Disaster Montana Takes Aim: Shooting Down Hawaii's Latest Gun Control Nonsense Montana's Attorney General is spearheading a coalition challenging Hawaii's new ban on firearms in so-called 'sensitive' places. This move underscores a growing resistance among pro-Second Amendment advocates against perceived overreach in gun control laws, highlighting a commitment to protect rights amid increasing regulations. Gun enthusiasts are likely to view this development as a reaffirmation of their liberties, further fueling the fight against restrictions on lawful firearm ownership. Budget Cuts for the Bureau: Trump Takes Aim at ATF Funding Trump's FY 2026 budget proposal includes a $468 million funding cut for the ATF, which may impact the agency's operations and regulation of firearms. This reduction is likely to be welcomed by the gun community, as it reflects a trend toward less federal oversight and potential easing of gun control measures. Oops! Leftists' Lies About Guns Just Went Up in Smoke A recent development has led to a halt in the left's narrative labeling guns as the leading cause of childhood deaths, which could impact the ongoing gun control debate. This shift may cause discomfort among gun control advocates who rely on such claims to justify their position, while potentially reinforcing support for the Second Amendment among gun enthusiasts. GOALS August 9th and 10th in Knoxville, Tennessee. https://events.goa.org/goals/ - Dear WLS John M - Gentlemen, Who do you recommend to port a barrel and a slide? I don't want to add a Ramjet to my gun because of the extra length (plus i already have one on my G45). I like the idea of the Glock 19c, but its a Gen 3 and no optic cut. What is your opinion on this? Thanks! Hunter D - What closed emitter sight would you guys put on a Springfield prodigy 4.25” ? If this gun continues to pass my testing I'd like to use it in my EDC rotation. I'm open to options and not stuck on any brand. Budget is not a big concern but I'd say under $750 for sure and that should get me a lot of options. Hell I'm even open to open emitter but really want to try a closed emitter for this gun. Thank you in advance for any insight you guys can provide. #aaronisacunt #jeremyisNOTacunt #WLSISLIFE Aiden S - I don't know if I've ever heard y'all directly answer this question. It's been talked about indirectly, but I don't think it's ever been posed to you like thisWhen should a gun owner lose their gun rights—if ever? Should it be only while they're serving a sentence? Does that include everything from jail time to community service, or even while they're still paying off a fine? Or should their rights remain suspended beyond that period? And should it matter whether the offense was violent or non-violent when they're released from prison or done serving their sentence? A-in-your-face S - Last year I picked up a Desert Eagle. I bought it on a whim, because it was an awesome price. And damn, if it isnt hella fun to shoot. I would like to try and pig hunt with it. What optic, red dot, prism, etc. would yall recommend? I plan to the typical barrel rail mount. #NoNotes Jimmy Jimmy - Hey guys, I'm following up on a prior question about an extractor issue on an AR10 (episode 402, timestamp 1440-2122). I appreciate most of your suggestions and have the following results -contact the manufacturer *Unfortunately, this is not an option. I bought the BCG a while back but only recently tested it. Lesson learned. -check extractor spring & o-rings *All are present and appear identical. -check headspace by measuring bolt face to front of bolt & compare original to new. *Identical +/- .002”. Not enough difference to make a difference. -dump some hot wax in there and make a mold of each one to see if they're the same *Good idea, Aaron, but I'll pass. -put some JB Weld in there *Another great idea from Aaron. No, thanks. -test new bolt in old carrier *Same issue. -test old extractor in new bolt & carrier *Works! -compare extractors side by side *The failing extractor hook feels “sharper”. Maybe someday I'll look into modifying the misshapen extractor. Honestly, that's probably not going to happen. Final solution, I ordered a JP Enterprises enhanced extractor and I have full confidence it will work. Thanks for the help! Nick F - so I was in a local gun shop with a buddy last week. I came across thos aow shotgun pistols that hold like 4 rounds. what's your opinion on them? is it something you wouldn't mind under your driver's seat during riot season?

Lehigh defense makes those Philip tip screwdriver looking bullets for 32acp called Xtreme Defender. So it doesn't have to expand to create cavitation. They also make a square tip looking one, called the cavitator, that actually is even better as it's the same length as a fmj which alleviates the issue of 32 rim locking. The bad part is the square tip ones are only sold bullet only now so if you don't want to reload I think the Phillips style 'Xtreme Defense' are the only ones still available as a complete cartridge. Swamp Ape - Sig p320??? Yes Notes Dickens Ideme - Aaron, you deserve all the shit you get 99% of the time. But one thing you have gotten much better at is not eating during the show. Is a transferable m.g. the same as an s.b.r. when it comes to changing out calibers and or barrel lengths? Return it to it's registered configuration before storing? I appreciate you guys. Thanks. Mashed Potato Chip Bag - Why does Jeremy remind me of a giant Jonah Hill? Hunter D - I have a question, what in the heck is going on with cloud defensive? I ordered the MCH HC3 two months ago and still have not received my light or the other accessories that I ordered. I have emailed them multiple times asking for updates and all I get is working on it or possibly next week. I love the 4 other lights of theirs I have and just want my light. Thanks you for any feedback or suggestions. #wls #Dangfree #171 #jeremyisNotacunt #Arronisacunt John M - I came across a used Walther PPQ in 9mm. Total impulse purchase on my part. However it's not able to mount a red dot in the traditional way. Do you think a PDP slide would fit on the PPQ grip/trigger as it was the precursor to the PDP? What other options do you think are out there? David L - If each cast member died or just said "Fuck it!" and left, Would the rest of you replace them? If so, would you look for a similar personality or change it up? [No notes] The winner of this week's swag pack is Desert D Deagleton! My range is 30 minutes to the nearest emergency room and would like a minimalistic kit in case of a ricochet or some boomer fudd does boomer fudd shit. No notes. Jimmy A - What are you guys' thoughts and opinions on .257 Roberts? I have started a collection of lesser known and oddball cartridges and thought about adding a rifle in their caliber to it. Also, it seems like it would be a decent coyote, varmint, deer round for my farm in Southern Indiana. It seems somewhat similar to .243 Winchester but not near as readily available. What rifle do you suggest for this round? Thanks guys Ben B - I will be finishing an ar15 build in the near future. It will be a suppressed 14.5 5.56 and I want to put an adjustable gas block on it so it can be tuned. My question is what is the best AGB when you balance quality and budget? Stu Pidass - If you lost your non dominant hand and had to permanently replace it with a hand gun, which would you pick? Dutch Walker - Gentlemen, I'm going to build a .338 ARC and plan on shooting it suppressed. I have a Rugged Obsidian9, and it's the only can I have that has a large enough aperture to handle the .338. How confident would you be shooting subsonic rounds through it without damaging it? For reference, Rugged says it will handle a 300 BlkOut subsonic rounds. See you at GunCon. Aaron, you owe me $40. CD M - Ahoy boys, as we approach the sweaty time of the year I am returning to my summertime carry. The Keltec p32. My question relates to hollow points out of small barrels, are there any brands that would reliably expand? I have always just run FMJ out of mouse guns (if you can't expand, penetrate as deeply as possible), but would love to hear other opinions Harvey - Me being cheap Arken optics caught my eye. Seen two people not speak to highly but most reviews are good. One guy claimed they where buying you tube reviews. So anyone use one and have any expericance with it? Thinking of attempting a long range class with HEARTLAND PRECISION RIFLE since their range is close to me. But don't really have a big budget or great gun for it. The products have been exceptional, and I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Jason @ Standard Arms LLC. Yes in NJ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - from Warrior Of The Weekend - Integrity. Professionalism. Dignity. Honor. Respect. Even though this podcast severely lacks all of these traits, I still give it 5 stars for effort. What it does have is- Autism. Patriotism. Pathetisism. Diabetism. Not athleticism. These inglorious bastards get me through my workday. Great unbiased gun info. And Jeremy, I'll C U Next Tuesday. Ha! Please don't rage kill me you're not a cunt. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - from Scout 389 - Gentlemen, I've been a longtime listener of the show and have made multiple purchases of firearms, and products based of the recommendations provided by the cast. I've blown the budget on stuff from Swampfox, Gideon, Midwest, Brownell's, etc. One of the things that I never spent the money on was Second Call Defense. I always told myself that "I'll pick it up later". That is until a couple of weekends back when a family member of mine got into a shooting. He was hit but managed to kill his attacker. And while it is currently looking like it was a case of justified self defense, it really hit home to me that a.) This could happen any time, any where, and b.) Every bullet that you fire in this type of situation has a lawyer attached. The next day I signed up for Second Call Defense. I wish I would have done it sooner, but at least I am covered now. Thank you for the recommendation and for the great show. Also, Jeremy is a cunt.

Jermey vs a bag of dicks but in a van. Joe from NH - I've ordered two L3 Harris tubes. There are so many options out there for housings, mounts, and helmets. What are some things to considered when choosing the above? For instance, what features are necessary within a housing since that is the part I'm least sure about? I probably have everything by now, but thanks for the input. Joe From NH No notes. OutLore no last name... it's just OutLore - You asked for questions. I have 2. For best effect these should be read in a British accent. I will be scoring your accent in the chat. 1) If an orange is called an orange because it's orange, why isn't a lemon called a yellow? 2) As you may remember... I recently became a US citizen, and no I will not continually tell people about it because it's probably the most awesome thing that's ever happened to me in my entire life... anyway... Your hosts tonight are Jeremy Pozderac, Aaron Krieger, Nick Lynch, and me Shawn Herrin, welcome to the show! Double Tap- Need more questions. WLS- Need more reviews. - Dear WLS My dad hit my mom so I the family dog and now I have a hard time talking to women S. - Do you guys have a go to cleaning kit? Or do you just buy pieces and make your own kit? What are those pieces? I've bought several kits but they never seem to be ideal for cleaning any particular gun. Ice Wallocum - Could 50 clones of Savage defeat Nick, Jeremy, Shawn, and Aaron? The only weapons available to the guys are a frying pan, a set of brass knuckles, a fire extinguisher and a large flat-head screwdriver. Each clone is butt-ass naked. Try to not get a boner. No notes. Jakey Poo - I'm getting the itch... not like yours, Aaron. I need to add something to my gun collection. My current selection is as follows. A 223 AR A 223 AK A semi auto 12 gauge (yes Turkish, shut up) A 9mm AK A 45 1911 A full size 9mm canik. A 9mm p365 xmacro. An m&p 22 handgun. A 22 heritage rough rider. So, where should I start looking and or saving next? I like the idea of a 45 pcc. I like the idea of a lever action. I like the idea of some other 22 to have for when my boys get old enough. I just don't know what to do. And don't say tons of ammo for all those things... that's already on the list. Thank you for all the feelings you give me every week, my fellow homeo sectionals. Alex W - Hi. Do you guys have slings on your home defense rifles? I had mine out last night due to sketchy shit going on outside my home and noticed the sling was all twisted up and wrapped around the stock. I think it would have still functioned fine but throwing the sling on might have been hard in a tense situation. How do you stow your slings to prevent that issue? Thanks. No notes. Savage Looks Like A Nutsack - I was at my local Scheels, and overheard a conversation about second focal plane scopes. The sales associate told the guy next to me that in a sfp scope, only the subtensions will be off if you use magnification. He explained that your center aimpoint on the scope will always be dead on no matter what, as long as the distance is ranged correctly. What's the associate right? I thought in all sfp scopes, your zero would be off on everything if you used the magnification. It doesn't make sense that the center point of the scope would always be correct under any magnification, but only the subtensions would be off. No notes Reese K - On the most recent This Week in Guns they talked about a blind man who bought a gun and then was complaining about how easy it was. If you guys became legally blind, from whatever terrible accident you want, what would you choose for home defense? Cory R - Why is Aaron such a douche. Dude is fucking up the show arguing about the dumbest shit. Arguing that ffls shouldn't be able to charge for transfers? Fucking dumbass. Then today argue with savage for not reading the facts right after he did. Jesus, please take his mic before I have to quit listening.
