Send Us a Message (include your contact info if you'd like a reply)The search for emotional justice can become an invisible prison for those navigating divorce. While completely understandable, this pursuit often keeps people tethered to pain long after legal proceedings conclude.Debra and Tracy dive deep into why clients become fixated on making their ex-partners acknowledge wrongdoing, apologize sincerely, or face consequences. They explore the neurological reality behind this pattern—how the brain remains in a heightened state of stress, treating emotional injury as an ongoing threat that must be resolved. This explains why many divorced individuals spend months or even years mentally rehearsing arguments or crafting the perfect message that might finally make their ex understand. The cost of this fixation is staggering. Beyond precious time wasted, children absorb the tension and learn unhealthy conflict resolution skills. Financial decisions suffer, careers stall, and social relationships deteriorate as friends grow weary of repetitive grievances. Most critically, this pursuit hands continued power to the very person who caused harm, creating a form of voluntary emotional imprisonment.Through case studies and practical examples, the hosts share powerful coaching strategies to help clients reclaim their agency. These include redirecting energy toward future possibilities, conducting "energy audits" to reveal how much mental bandwidth is being wasted, separating practical accountability measures from emotional justice outcomes, and developing internal validation skills. They explain why completion ceremonies, justice letters, and redefining "winning" can be transformative.Moving beyond the need for emotional justice doesn't mean pretending the hurt didn't happen. Rather, it means choosing freedom over vindication and self-determination over dependency. As Tracy and Debra powerfully articulate, the most profound justice often comes not from making an ex-partner acknowledge wrongdoing, but from creating a life so vibrant and fulfilling that their opinion no longer matters—showing your children what a true comeback looks like. Lezen, schrijven, tekenen in cafés. Hoe toepasselijk. Zonder schuldgevoel deze keer. Dat is al pure winst! Gaat het lukken? We zullen zien! Zoen, Lou P.S. Charlie vind je natuurlijk op https://louniestadt.com ❤️

Psalm 10 today. I'm sure we've all said "What's wrong with these people. Don't they even fear God?" Answer---no they don't. He isn't even in their thoughts. But where are God's people. Why won't they stand and fight this evil?

"At M2 The Rock, we fully respect the anonymity of all 12-step fellowships. In alignment with their traditions, we do not represent or speak on behalf of any of these groups. Our mission is to share hope, not affiliation."About M2 THE ROCK - MICHAEL MOLTHAN:I'm Michael Molthan, host of The M2 The Rock Show—one of the fastest-growing podcasts and shows on self-improvement, mental health, addiction recovery, and spiritual transformation. I'm so grateful you're here.I started M2 The Rock in 2017 to bring you conversations designed to make you happier, healthier, and more healed. Through raw and unfiltered discussions with experts, celebrities, thought leaders, and athletes, we uncover new perspectives on personal growth, recovery, and overcoming life's toughest challenges. My Story:What sets my journey apart is that there wasn't just one rock bottom—there were many. From being a successful luxury homebuilder to falling into addiction, homelessness, crime, and eventually 27 mugshots and prison, my life was in absolute chaos.Addiction was my temporary escape from childhood trauma, but it only led to destruction. It wasn't until I hit the lowest point imaginable that I finally found true freedom, redemption, and purpose. After an unexpected early release from prison in 2017, I walked 300 miles back to Dallas to turn myself in—only to be miraculously pardoned and told to “pay it forward.”And that's exactly what I've been doing ever since. My MissionI believe that rock bottom is not the end—it's a stepping stone to something greater. My goal is to redefine what "rock bottom" means by helping others rebuild their Spirit, Mind, and Body. On M2 The Rock, I speak openly about trauma, addiction, recovery, and the power of transformation. I don't shy away from topics like:✅ Trauma & Addiction – Understanding the root causes✅ Self-Sabotage & Mental Health – Breaking negative cycles✅ Codependency & Enabling – How relationships impact recovery✅ 12-Step Programs & Spiritual Healing – Finding true freedom✅ Religious Trauma & Personal Growth – Healing from past wounds"Everyone Is An Addict."Whether it's substances, work, validation, or negative thinking, we all have something we struggle with. But recovery is possible, and transformation is real.

What if getting your big idea across the finish line wasn't about pitching harder, but about thinking like a storyteller… or a mastermind? In this episode of The Innovation Storytellers Show, I sit down with Ed Essey, Director of Business Value at The Microsoft Garage, to uncover the surprising mechanics behind one of the most successful innovation engines in tech. Ed isn't just helping Microsoft employees come up with bold ideas. He's teaching them how to bring those ideas to life, secure executive sponsorship, and scale them globally. With more than 20,000 projects emerging from Microsoft's annual hackathon, his work is reshaping what innovation looks like inside a giant. We discuss the Garage Growth Framework, the storytelling techniques that help innovators get to 'yes,' and why corporate innovation often needs to feel more like a heist than a business plan. Along the way, Ed shares the powerful backstories of projects like Repowering Coal, which sparked the revitalization of Three Mile Island with clean nuclear energy, and MirrorHR, a deeply personal project that's helping families reduce epileptic seizures using AI and wearables. Ed also gives us a preview of his upcoming book, The Inside Job, a heist-themed guide to innovation for intrapreneurs looking to create meaningful change in complex organizations.

How much are you enjoying life? The more deeply we can see that joy is an inside job the more we can enjoy life. Listen in as we dive into accepting missing pieces of our story, finding joy and more.Leigh Lincoln is an author whose narratives resonate deeply with the human experience. With a passion for storytelling that touches hearts and provokes thoughtful reflection, she has carved a path that intertwines her love for writing with her dedication to advocating for the homeless and those living in poverty. Her journey as an author is a testament to her commitment to making people ponder the choices they make, how they treat others, and the importance of empathy. Leigh's journey has led her down a remarkable path of advocacy for the homeless and impoverished communities. For over three decades, she has dedicated herself to making a difference in the lives of those in need. Her first novel, “Road Home,” was born from this tireless work. It serves as a thought-provoking mirror to society, challenging readers to consider how they live, treat others, and desire to be treated.Leigh's literary exploration continues with the “Broken Roads Series.” Comprising novels like “Road to Freedom,” “Finding the Real Road,” and “The Road West,” these stories delve into the idea that life doesn't always follow the path we envision. Instead, we encounter unexpected twists and turns, forcing us to gather the fragments of our existence and move forward.Leigh's most recent series, “Path to family,” stands as her most personal work to date. “The Path to Family Series” shines a light on the emotional and hopeful tale of adoption.Having been adopted, Leigh's life had been shaped by this framework. And she has been blessed by finding a half-sister and her birth father. Her hope in writing these novels is to help others understand the complexities and emotions involved in the adoption process. She invites her readers to connect with the emotional depths of the narrative and the various perspectives. Leigh is not just an author; she's a voice that encourages others to find their own. Through her interviews on various podcasts and radio shows, she strives to inspire individuals to discover their unique voices, explore the world, and never shy away from meaningful conversations. Her passion lies in crafting novels that resonate with readers on a profound emotional level, aiming to uplift, inspire, and provoke introspection.Find out more athttps://leighlincolnauthor.com/https://www.linkedin.com/in/leigh-lincoln-24218a133/https://www.instagram.com/lincolnleigh/https://www.facebook.com/leigh.lincoln.2025/ Guests and the host are not (unless mentioned) licensed pscyho-therapists and speak from their own opinion only. Hey everyone—We're diving into a topic that gets tossed around a lot but rarely unpacked in a way that actually matters: self-care. If you've ever felt confused or overwhelmed by what self-care really is (and isn't), this is for you. In this episode, we unpack the myths, call out the cultural noise, and get real about what it truly means to care for yourself, especially during midlife. We talk about the difference between real self-care and the performative kind, and how embodying your values, setting boundaries, and nurturing self-compassion can actually refill your tank. We're sharing personal practices, therapeutic insights, and a whole lot of laughter as we redefine what it means to be replenished. I went to the beach recently, and something powerful clicked. I looked around and realized: every body is a beach body. Yes, the saying that is around and we see on all the kitschy plaques. That's the one. And the confidence I was admiring in others? It wasn't about shape, size, or age—it was about presence. In this week's episode of Glow Brighter with Toni, I'm sharing a personal story about confidence, self-judgment, and how shifting your inner voice reshapes how you carry yourself in the world.Confidence doesn't start in the mirror. It starts in your mind.
In this episode, I'm joined by Cassie Parlotto, owner of Joiful Yoga in metro Atlanta. Cassie is a certified expert in Kundalini yoga, Reiki, vision boarding, and more. Send us a textHealing isn't always a straight path. Sometimes it loops back around—and just when we think we're done, life hands us another test…In this month's episode, I'm opening up about my personal healing journey through trauma and how I finally found peace. A big update since 2021 podcast!Coming from a life shaped by trauma, I knew something had to shift. So I began the journey inward—spending years getting to know myself, gently uncovering my triggers, and noticing the patterns that held me back.Just when I believed I had moved through the hardest parts, life would quietly place something in front of me. A moment, a memory, a feeling—whispering, ‘Have you truly made peace with this yet?'The biggest test came when I returned to the place where it all began; the city I left as a child, where I carried so much pain. I expected discomfort, maybe even fear. But this time was different. This time, I felt peace. In this episode, I'm sharing a few key things that helped me reach this point—the lessons, the tools, and the truths I discovered along the way. This isn't just my story—it's for anyone who's ever wondered if true healing is possible. It is.It takes patience, compassion, and the courage to keep showing up for yourself… even when it's hard.
The truth you seek is within you. The peace we seek is within us. The world we yearn for is within us.
In Week Two of our Tangled & Together series, we dig into the truth that healthy relationships start on the inside. It's not about finding the perfect people — it's about letting God do a transforming work in us. Because real change in our relationships begins with an inside job.

The final destination on Pearl Jam's spring 2025 tour will be Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a city that's no stranger to big time shows. Although they haven't been back there in 12 years, there was a time where the Steel City saw it's fair share of shows. From 1998-2006, there were five shows played, every one of them memorable in their own way. This episode covers their 2006 show from the Mellon Arena that kicked off the second leg of the North American tour that year with the band and the crowd so hot that the nearly melted the igloo. Sometimes you'll notice that certain Pearl Jam cities are known for having a song that's connected with them. For example, people usually connect Wash with Pittsburgh due to the umbrella moment in 2000. But at this show, another song developed a connection as they covered the Rolling Stones Waiting On A Friend for the first of a small handful of times. It was done to pay tribute to the Stones after opening for them at PNC Park the year prior, and it's a moment that the Yinzer crowd is proud of. Other great moments that we'll talk about include a monstrous Release to kick things off, an incredible version of Black with an It's OK tag, Stone's smokin' solo on RITFW and a plethora of Avocado songs that were kicked in high gear during this era. We'll also discuss how songs like Inside Job and Smile have continued to grow and become fan favorites throughout the years. We run down the entire setlist, but you'll want to stay tuned to stories from Javi's Nashville trip where he met not one, but two members of the band. You won't want to miss it! Send us a textToday we're talking about energy management and why it's our responsibility to manage our own energy levels.Key Points:Two of my physician clients shared calling out sick as weekly wins in coaching sessions – highlighting how we're trained to always put patient care first, often at our own expenseEnergy management is each of our personal responsibility, and no one else can see our energy levels or tank sizeOur energy tanks change throughout life stages (residency vs. parenting young children vs. empty nesting)Medicine falsely pretends we all have the same energy capacityWhen we choose to take a sick day when truly needed, we help change the unhealthy culture of medicineNotable Quotes from Today's Episode:"We are trained to put ourselves last, always. We are trained to work through, push through, ignore our bodies, ignore anything that we're feeling or experiencing... in order to put patient care first.""No one can see the energy that we do or don't have. They can't see how big the tank is, they can't see how big the spigot is that's draining.""Who we are and what we do matters. It matters and it makes a difference. We're going to figure out a way that we can do this and manage our energy in a sustainable way."Practical Advice for All of Us:Let's assess our current life stage and energy capacity realisticallyWe need to recognize when our tanks are depleted and take necessary breaksWe should set proactive boundaries with our teams about our limitationsWe might need to consider whether our practice environments match our energy stylesRemember that chronically pushing through low energy is unsustainable for all of usFinal Thoughts:Finding alignment between patient care and self-care isn't mutually exclusive. By being responsible stewards of our own energy, we can create sustainable pathways to continue practicing medicine effectively while honoring our human needs.Need more support? What does it take to cultivate joy—not as a fleeting feeling, but as a steady presence—even in times of deep uncertainty? In this luminous conversation, Dr. Heidi Brooks is joined by psychologist and author Emma Seppälä and artist Clara Nartey to explore the resilient, regenerative power of joy. With insights drawn from neuroscience, personal experience and artistic practice, Emma and Clara reflect on how inner sovereignty—the ability to return to center amid chaos—can help us meet the world with greater creativity, calm, and connection. From Clara's practice of beginning each day in prayerful gratitude to Emma's decades of meditation and breathwork, Heidi and her guests share how joy can be cultivated as a discipline of attention and care, and reflect on joy as an “inside job”—one that begins with how we treat ourselves and ripples outward in our relationships, our work and our communities. Together, they invite us to consider: What might it look like to build a “circle of delight” around ourselves and others—a nest of safety, authenticity and beauty? This episode is for anyone seeking a more rooted, soulfully sustainable way to face uncertainty—and to offer something healing to the world in return. Both Clara and Emma speak to the mystery of creativity: “It's like the work is asking to be made—and I'm just the channel.” 23:19 – The Trouble With Toxic PositivityThey explore the power of authenticity over forced optimism: “Sometimes the most uplifting thing is just being present through the hard stuff.” 33:37 – What Is Sovereignty?Emma defines it as reclaiming our inner space from inherited self-criticism: “You can't unsee what you've seen.” 37:23 – Joy Begins With You Clara reminds us: “You can't give joy to others from a place of emptiness.” And something to sit with: Something to sit with: “Gratitude will float you through the rushing waters.”
