CHRISTMASThis morning we are going to look into and see if Jesus or as I like to say Yahshua Messiah, was born on December 25. Now I realize that within the Church world that it is taught that Jesus/Yahshua was born on December 25. But is that correct?Using Scripture from Yahweh's Word we will find out the truth on this subject. And then my friends you must draw your own conclusion. Keep in mind the words of Yahweh; Colossians 2:8, “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Yahshua Messiah.” Luke 1 Luke meaning “Light Giver”5) Herod = “hero-likeZacharias = “Yah has remembered” Elisabeth = “El of Oath”. Her son being that oath and promise Abijah = “My Father is Yahweh” What is this course? This is the 8th course of 24. In which King David set up at his time of rule. Read 1 Chro. 24, especially verse 10. According to custom, each of the Priests must officiate for one full week in the Temple of Yahweh. The courses started at the first New Moon of the first month of the Jewish Civil Year. Now knowing this, Zacharias course fell on our June 13-19. This period of time important, for this sets the time of the birth and conception of John and His cousin Yahshua, our Saviour23 days = his week of June 20th. Note Zacharias lived app. 30 miles from the Temple. For a man his age, it took him 2 days to walk home, therefore making the date around June 22-23.24 after = “meta” association and companionship [relating to the events of Zacharias upon his arrival hom conceived = possibly June 23 or 24 hid = completely secluded. Probably to avoid all possibility of uncleanness, as in Judges 13:4-7, 12-14 five months = Nov. 2426 sixth month = Dec. 25 Galilee = “circuit” This name, which in the Roman age was applied to a large province, seems to have been originally confined to a little “circuit” of country around Kedesh-Naphtali, in which were situated the 20 towns given by Solomon to Hiram king of Tyre as payment for his work in conveying timber from Lebanon to Jerusalem. Joshua 20:7; 1 Kings 9:11 Nazareth = “the guarded one”36 cousin = therefore Mary must have some Levite blood within her.6th month = being the 24 or 25 of our December Take note both of these pregnancies are perfect. For they are from Yahweh! So therefore, Yahshua was conceived 6 months AFTER John, so this conception would be on Dec. 25!57 full time = a perfect 280 day's, March 28-29Luke 24 went up = literally true, the ascent from Nazareth to Jerusalem being at least 1500 feet.Joseph = increaseGalilee = “circuit” those 20 cities given to King of Tyre from SolomonNazareth = “the guarded one” City of David = also called Zion Bethlehem = “House of Bread” House of David = that King line out of Judah7 On that 1st day of the Feast of Tabernacles, Tishri 15th. This is why Yahshua is our true Tabernacle [Hebrews 8:2]. Now, this would have been on our Sept. 29, 4 BC manger = crib11 is born this day = That 1st day of the Feast of Tabernacles [go to charts of the calendars]in the city of David = BethlehemThe conception of John the Baptist on or about 23rd SIVAN = June 24 | in the year 5 B.C.The Gennesis (Begetting) of our Lord on or about 1st TEBETH = December 25 | in the year 5 B.C. The birth of John the Baptist on or about 4th–7th NISAN = March 25-28 in the year 4 B.C. The birth of our Lord on or about 15th TISRI = September 29 in the year 4 B.C.Have any questions? December 7, 2025 - Sunday AM Bible Class In this episode Neal announces a new quarter-long study of 2 Corinthians and explains why the class begins with Paul's second letter to the Corinthians rather than First Corinthians. He places the letter in historical context (Acts 18–20), ties it to the later prison epistles (Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, Philemon), and recommends earlier teaching on First Corinthians by Hiram and Brittany as helpful background. The episode gives an extended cultural and historical overview of Corinth — its Greek origins, destruction and re-founding under Rome, strategic isthmus location with two ports, the prominence of the slave trade, widespread pagan immorality (including how “to Corinthianize” became synonymous with sexual vice), and the city's importance as the provincial capital of Achaia. These details set the stage for why the Corinthian church faced the problems Paul addresses. Key topics covered include a review of the problems raised in 1 Corinthians (division, idolatry, sexual immorality, marriage questions, worship abuses such as corruption of the Lord's Supper, confusion over spiritual gifts, questions about the resurrection, and factional allegiance to leaders), and how the church largely responded to Paul's first letter. The speaker explains that 2 Corinthians arises from a new crisis: a group of Jewish opponents who undermine Paul's apostleship and claim apostolic authority themselves. The episode highlights the central themes and purposes of 2 Corinthians: Paul's defense of his apostleship and leadership, the danger of false or unordained leaders, and the pastoral necessity of protecting church order. It emphasizes Paul's personal investment in the Corinthian congregation — the suffering he endured, his pastoral care, and his insistence that God-ordained leadership matters because “sheep need a shepherd.” A major motif introduced is comfort: the speaker surveys 2 Corinthians 1:1–11 and summarizes the letter's repeated emphasis on comfort in the midst of affliction. He identifies the sources of that comfort as God (the “Father of mercies”), Christ, other believers who have suffered, and the prayers of the community, and underscores Paul's theme of abundant, effective consolation despite severe trials. Guests and contributors mentioned include teachers Hiram and Brittany (previous lectures on First Corinthians) and Chris (his Wednesday class on the prison epistles); the speaker also references Luke's account in Acts and several Pauline passages as he reads and opens 2 Corinthians 1:1–11. Listeners can expect a mix of historical background, theological orientation to the letter, pastoral application about church leadership and suffering, and a reading of the opening verses to begin the study. Duration 44:47

Top Stories for December 6th Publish Date: December 6th PRE-ROLL: SUGAR HILL ICE SKATING From the BG AD Group Studio Welcome to the Gwinnett Daily Post Podcast. Today is Saturday, December 6th and Happy Birthday to Peter Buck from REM I’m Peyton Spurlock and here are your top stories presented by Gwinnett KIA Mall of Georgia. Gwinnett Chamber Foundation honors small business leaders at inaugural Power of Impact Gala Lawmakers seek Lottery money for need-based college scholarships Applications for Jackson EMC Washington Youth Tour now open All of this and more is coming up on the Gwinnett Daily Post podcast, and if you are looking for community news, we encourage you to listen daily and subscribe! Break 1: Kia Mall of Georgia STORY 1: Gwinnett Chamber Foundation honors small business leaders at inaugural Power of Impact Gala The Gwinnett Chamber Foundation held its first-ever Power of Impact Gala on Dec. 3 at Bear’s Best Suwanee, bringing together over 130 business leaders to celebrate small business growth and mentorship. Award winners included Dr. William “Bill” Russell (Legacy Business Leader), Alicia Cole of Lillies Boutique (Certification Cohort Member), and Berthine Crèvecoeur West of Westbridge Solutions (Accelerator Cohort Member). The event also celebrated the 2025 Small Business Impact Institute graduates, seven of whom earned supply-chain certifications. STORY 2: Lawmakers seek Lottery money for need-based college scholarships Georgia’s public colleges hit record enrollment this fall, with over 382,000 students, but a bipartisan Senate committee says too many are still being left behind. The HOPE Scholarship, funded by the state lottery, has helped over 2 million students since 1993, but it’s merit-based—requiring a 3.0 GPA—and doesn’t account for financial need. For low-income students juggling work and school, losing HOPE often means dropping out entirely. The committee is pushing for a $126 million need-based aid program, funded by the lottery’s $1.7 billion reserves. But not everyone’s on board. Critics argue need-based aid feels like “social welfare,” despite warnings of a growing “brain drain” as students leave Georgia for better financial aid elsewhere. Gov. Brian Kemp praised HOPE’s legacy this week, but advocates say Georgia must do more to keep talented students in-state. STORY 3: Applications for Jackson EMC Washington Youth Tour now open Jackson EMC is now accepting applications for the 2026 Washington Youth Tour—a once-in-a-lifetime, all-expenses-paid trip to D.C. from June 12-19. Four lucky high school sophomores or juniors from the Jackson EMC service area will be selected for this leadership experience. Who’s eligible? Students with strong grades, a passion for community service, and an interest in building connections. You can apply online at jacksonemc.com/wyt or be nominated by a teacher or counselor. Applications close Jan. 31, 2026. Finalists will interview on Feb. 16 with a panel of leaders. The trip includes visits to monuments, Smithsonian museums, Arlington Cemetery, and even a chance to meet Georgia’s congressional delegation. We have opportunities for sponsors to get great engagement on these shows. Call 770.874.3200 for more info. We’ll be right back Break 2: Ingles Markets - DTL HOLIDAY STORY 4: Walmart launches drone delivery service in Georgia — including Loganville No, drones won’t be squeezing down your chimney, but if you live near one of six Walmart Supercenters around Atlanta, they might just drop a package on your lawn in time for Christmas. Walmart, teaming up with Wing, announced Wednesday that drone deliveries are now a thing in metro Atlanta—just in time for last-minute shoppers. Need wrapping paper? Holiday meal ingredients? A stocking stuffer you forgot? These 12-pound drones, zipping along at 60 mph, can deliver in five minutes if you’re within six miles. For now, Georgia’s drone-enabled Walmarts are in Conyers, Dallas, Hiram, Loganville, McDonough, and Woodstock. And while this is Atlanta’s first legal drone delivery service, drones have already been making, uh, less festive deliveries—state officials recently flagged them as a growing problem for smuggling contraband into prisons. Still, for holiday procrastinators, this tech could be a game-changer. Fewer delivery trucks on the road? That’s a win for everyone. STORY 5: ‘TIS THE SEASON: Your 2025 Guide To Tree Lightings And Holiday Celebrations In And Around Gwinnett County The holidays are in full swing, and there’s no shortage of festive fun around Gwinnett County. Here’s a quick rundown: **Suwanee’s Jolly Holly Days** (Dec. 8–9): Two days of crafts, live music, a pet parade, and Santa’s grand arrival. **Lilburn Holiday Parade** (Dec. 9): Floats, bands, and Christmas characters galore. **Duluth’s Deck the Hall** (Dec. 9): Snow slides, crafts, and Santa pics. For more, check city websites! Break 3: GCPS HIRING STORY 6: Dr. Carla Price joins Northeast Georgia Physicians Group in Dacula For over 20 years, Dr. Carla Price has been a familiar face in northeast Georgia, caring for families and building relationships that last. Now, she’s bringing her expertise—and her heart—to Northeast Georgia Physicians Group Hamilton Mill. Her journey started on a farm in Fairmont, West Virginia, where she helped her grandfather care for sick cows. That early love of healing led her to West Virginia University for med school, then Savannah for residency, and eventually to Winder in 2002. Now, when she’s not at the clinic, you’ll find her on her 8-acre horse farm in Jefferson, raising chickens, riding horses, or tending to her bees. She’s also a beach lover, often escaping with her fiancé and three daughters. NGPG Hamilton Mill, located at 3575 Braselton Highway in Dacula, is open seven days a week. Call 770-848-5300 or visit ngpg.org/price to book an appointment. STORY 7: Rainbow Village marks 12th year as Subaru of Gwinnett's hometown charity Rainbow Village, a Duluth nonprofit helping families overcome homelessness, has once again been named Subaru of Gwinnett’s Hometown Charity for the 2025 Subaru Share the Love® Event. This marks 12 years of partnership, with donations from car sales and service appointments supporting Rainbow Village’s mission of “Help, Hope, Housing, and Healing.” For a nonprofit that relies on private funding for 90% of its budget, relationships like this are a lifeline. Last year’s event raised $51,475. This year? They’re aiming even higher. Commercial: Ingles Markets 5 STORY 1: New Jersey Mike’s Subs location opening in Hickory Flat Jersey Mike’s Subs opened its doors at 6764 Hickory Road in the Hickory Flat community this Wednesday. From Dec. 3 to 7, the new location will support Every Link Matters, a nonprofit helping kids with KBG Syndrome. Got one of their special fundraising coupons? Donate at least $3, and you’ll snag a regular sub in return. No coupon, no deal—so keep an eye out for those flyers. “We’re so excited to join the Woodstock community,” said franchise owner Diego Rangel. “Giving back is who we are. Partnering with Every Link Matters lets us make a real difference—one sub at a time.” Hungry? STORY 2: FBI warns about rise in charity and disaster-relief fraud as holiday season ramps up The holidays are here, and so are the scammers—because, of course, they are. The FBI is warning folks to watch out for charity and disaster-relief fraud, which always seems to spike after major disasters or crises. These scammers? They’re sneaky. They’ll pose as legit charities, relief workers, or even government agencies, using emails, fake websites, crowdfunding pages, or social media to tug at your heartstrings—and your wallet. Sometimes they’ll even offer cleanup services, demand payment upfront, and then vanish. The FBI’s advice? Double-check charities before donating, skip sketchy links, and stick to secure payments (no gift cards or wire transfers). Stay sharp out there. STORY 3: Walmart launches drone delivery service in Woodstock Residents near the Woodstock Walmart on Highway 92 can now have small packages delivered by drone—yes, drones. Walmart and Wing, the drone company behind the service, kicked things off Wednesday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and the first official delivery. Woodstock is one of six metro Atlanta cities chosen for the launch, alongside Conyers, Dallas, Hiram, Loganville, and McDonough. The drones, fully electric and weighing about 11 pounds, can carry up to two pounds of goods and fly six miles one way. They operate quietly at low altitudes, dropping packages to designated spots like driveways or backyards. Here is what Senator John Albers had to say about these new delivery drones. JOHN ALBERS CUT To see if you’re eligible, visit wing.com/atlanta. We have opportunities for sponsors to get great engagement on these shows. Call 770.874.3200 for more info. We’ll be right back. Break: Ingles Markets 6 STORY 4: Wolverines perfect through five games Woodstock basketball is on fire. Under third-year coach Eric Blair, the Wolverines are off to a perfect 5-0 start—already their best in nearly a decade. They crushed Roswell 58-34 before Thanksgiving, thanks to sophomore phenom Jahmar Maurice dropping 21 points. The team’s averaging 70.4 points per game, a huge leap from last year’s 57.7. They’ve blown out opponents like Blessed Trinity (by 30!) and edged out a nail-biter against Chapel Hill. With region play kicking off today against Creekview, the Wolverines are eyeing a championship. They swept the Grizzlies last year, and a win this week would be a big step toward that goal. For now, though, this team is rolling—and it’s hard not to get excited about what’s ahead. GA BULLDOGS: Georgia lost five-star quarterback Jared Curtis to Vanderbilt just before National Signing Day, dropping their recruiting class to No. 6. Despite the hit, the Bulldogs signed 30 players, including one five-star, defensive lineman Valdin Sone, and 22 four-stars. Key signees include local standout Craig Dandridge Jr., three top tight ends like Kaiden Prothro, and Colquitt County running back Jae Lamar. Defense was a focus, with edge rushers Pierre Dean and Khamari Brooks, plus safeties Jordan Smith and Zech Fort. Gwinnett County contributed five players, including Carter Luckie, continuing his family’s Georgia legacy. Coach Kirby Smart’s class remains strong despite the late shakeup. I’m Keith Ippolito and this is your Tribune Sports Minute. STORY 5: Cherokee County to form T-SPLOST citizen committee Cherokee County is forming a five-member citizen committee to keep an eye on how the county spends the $445 million expected from the new T-SPLOST, which kicks off April 1 and runs for six years. The Board of Commissioners approved the plan on Dec. 2, and each commissioner will appoint one member to the group. Their job? Make sure the county sticks to the approved project list and spends the money responsibly. They can give advice and updates but can’t change the project list. The committee, unpaid and open to the public, will hold its first meeting in early 2026. The Republican Convention and the Rise of Harding — David Pietrusza — The June 1920 Republican National Convention in Chicago failed to nominate any of the leading frontrunners, including Hiram Johnson, General Leonard Wood, or Herbert Hoover. Harding, who initially sought the nomination primarily to enhance his Senate reelection prospects, ultimately prevailed because party delegates perceived him as an acceptable compromise candidate representing no extreme faction. The Republican platform regarding the League of Nations was deliberately left vague and ambiguous to accommodate the severely fractured party divisions. 1929 HOOVER
In this week's Parsha Review Podcast on Parshas Vayeitzei, Rabbi Aryeh Wolbe zooms in on one powerful verse from Yaakov's dream at Bethel: “Your offspring shall be like the dust of the earth… and you shall burst forth westward, eastward, northward, and southward.” At first glance it sounds like a promise of vast numbers and conquest, but the sages reveal the exact opposite: the key to Jewish success and blessing is being “like the dust of the earth” — radical humility.Rabbi Wolbe contrasts Jewish greatness with the arrogance of the nations: when Hashem elevated Avraham, Moshe, and David, each responded, “I am dust, I am nothing, I am a worm.” When power was given to Nimrod, Pharaoh, Nebuchadnezzar, and Hiram of Tyre, they immediately declared themselves gods. The Talmud teaches that Hashem loves the Jewish people precisely because we are “the fewest of all nations” and, even when blessed with greatness, we shrink ourselves in awe and gratitude.Leah's naming of her first four sons (Reuven, Shimon, Levi, Yehudah) all reflect the same theme: every blessing is met with deeper humility and thanks to Hashem rather than self-congratulation. Even Yaakov, after 24 uninterrupted years of Torah study and receiving the promise of the Land, wakes up exclaiming, “How awesome is this place!” — not “Look what I earned.”The message is clear and counter-cultural: the moment we take personal credit for our accomplishments, the blessings stop growing. Only when we genuinely feel “I am nothing without Hashem; everything is an undeserved gift” do the gates of heaven open wider and the promise of “u'faratzta” (you shall burst forth in all directions) become reality. True Jewish greatness is achieved by choosing to remain small._____________This episode of the Parsha Review Podcast is dedicated in honor of Lenny & Teresa FriedmanDownload & Print the Parsha Review Notes:https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ncaRyoH5iJmGGoMZs9y82Hz2ofViVouv?usp=sharingRecorded at TORCH Meyerland in the Levin Family Studios (B) to a live audience on November 25, 2025, in Houston, Texas.Released as Podcast on November 28, 2025_____________Subscribe: Apple Podcasts (https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/parsha-review-podcast-rabbi-aryeh-wolbe/id1651930083)Spotify (https://open.spotify.com/show/22lv1kXJob5ZNLaAl6CHTQ) to stay inspired!

1 Kings 9 is a solemn and powerful chapter where God appears to Solomon for the second time, confirming His covenant but also warning of the consequences of turning away. It is a chapter of promise, accountability, obedience, and national destiny. After Solomon finished building the Temple of the Lord and his palace, God spoke: “I have heard your prayer. I have consecrated this house you built. My eyes and My heart will always be there.” But with the promise came a condition a divine warning wrapped in holy love: If Solomon and his descendants walked faithfully, God would establish the throne forever. But if they turned to idols, Israel would be uprooted, the Temple would be destroyed, and the nation would become a proverb of ruin. 1 Kings 9 also describes Solomon's international dealings his agreement with Hiram, the cities he built, the labor forces, the offerings he continued to present before the Lord, and the great achievements of his reign. But the heart of this chapter is clear: God blesses obedience. He honors covenant faithfulness. He warns out of love, not judgment. And a nation's destiny is shaped by the faithfulness of its leaders. 1 Kings 9 teaches that glory can quickly fade if the heart drifts away from God, but obedience keeps the light burning. In this thought-provoking episode of Fellowship of Kingdom Professionals, Michael Blue unpacks the principle of shared credibility—the transfer of trust, power, and influence from one generation of leaders to the next. Drawing on the biblical story of David, Solomon, and Hiram, Blue explores how Solomon inherited his father's credibility and how mishandling that sacred trust led to strained alliances and moral lessons that echo into our professional and spiritual lives today. Listeners will be challenged to reflect on how they steward the credibility others have extended to them—and to ensure that their conduct honors those who believed in them first. "You cannot have an expensive friend and handle him cheaply. Don't do them dirty." New podcast episodes are available every Monday wherever you listen to podcasts.
November 9, 2025 - Sunday AM Bible Class In this episode Barrett continues a study of the Gospel of John, focusing on the distinctive "I AM" statements of Jesus. Building on last week's lesson, the discussion places John's words in first-century Judea—under Roman occupation and steeped in Old Testament expectation—and explains why Jesus' metaphors were both surprising and provocative to his contemporaries. The episode covers the historical and theological context of John (likely written around A.D. 90 for a mixed Jewish and Gentile audience) and explains how each "I AM" statement draws on everyday imagery and Old Testament echoes (Exodus, Isaiah, Psalms, Deuteronomy) to reveal Jesus' identity and mission. The host reads and unpacks three of the seven statements in detail: "I am the bread of life" (John 6), "I am the light of the world" (John 8), and "I am the door/gate" (John 10), showing how each image communicates spiritual sustenance, guidance, protection, and exclusive access to the Father. Contributors in the conversation include Jeremy, Neal, Hiram, Roger, Russell, Rhonda and other class participants, who bring questions, Old Testament connections, and real-life applications. The episode also reflects on practical themes—why people struggled to accept Jesus then and now, barriers like pride, tradition, and fear of social consequences, and how modern pressures and instant gratification can distract from spiritual hunger. A memorable comparison to the Challenger disaster illustrates how ignoring warnings and truth can have tragic consequences. Listeners can expect close readings of John 6, 8, and 10, clear explanations of key Old Testament ties, examples of how to live out these metaphors today (prayer, community, Bible study, being a light to others), and an invitation to examine whether they truly know Jesus or merely know about him. The host closes by previewing a continuation of the series that will cover the remaining "I AM" statements in a future session. Duration 39:59

4. The Republican Convention: Harding Emerges from the Smoke-Filled Room David Pietrusza 1920: The Year of the Six Presidents The Republican National Convention in Chicago in June 1920 was hot and chaotic. Leading candidates included Hiram Johnson, Leonard Wood, and Frank Lowden, while Warren Harding was a distant long shot, seeking the presidency partly to boost his reelection campaign for his Senate seat. The balloting quickly established the limits of the frontrunners. Because Republicans required only a majority for nomination, unlike the Democratic two-thirds rule, they were able to pivot to Harding, who was seen as an acceptable compromise. The Republican platform on the League of Nations was deliberately ambiguous, reflecting the deep division between internationalists like Hoover and isolationists like Lodge. 1913 WILSON OPENING DAY
October 26, 2025 - Sunday PM Sermon Join Hiram and Neil for a thoughtful question-and-answer session tackling tough theological and practical questions from attendees. Hiram and Neil examine ways to help others see the Bible's reliability. They encourage listeners to read Scripture for themselves and test its claims. Questions: Can you explain 1 Corinthians 7:15? It seems like this verse allows for an exception for remarriage if the spouse leaves and was an unbeliever. What is the best Bible to read that is easier to read? Which Bible translation communicates best in "today's" English? Is it ok to only give to the church or should you be supporting additional works too (e.g., missionaries, orphans, etc.)? Explain John 16:24. Do we know anything the apostles asked for and how it led to their joy being full? Did they know better than to ask to see Jesus again? What constitutes a marriage in the eyes of God? Does common law marriage qualify? Does a legal (but not religious) ceremony qualify? What about a non-Christian (Muslim, Hindu, Jewish) ceremony? What about same-sex marriage? What does the Bible say about cremation? Is it allowed or forbidden? Is the phrase "Divine Intervention" a biblical expression? When someone escapes death or has a close call and you survive is this God protecting me? Duration 47:42
