Amy Downs was one of the last survivors to be pulled from the rubble of the April 19, 1995 Oklahoma City bombing in which a total of 168 people were killed including 18 of her 33 co-workers.  At the time of the bombing, Downs was a credit card loan officer who flunked out of college and weighed more than 350 pounds. Olivia Ancil is a former tennis player at Cedarville University in Ohio.  She graduated from Cedarville's School of Nursing in 2019. She was serving as a float nurse at Holland Hospital in Holland, Michigan.  On May 28, 2020, Olivia and her boyfriend Alex Aren't were struck by a speeding vehicle going over 70 mph in a 35 mph lane while they were on a walk.  Olivia sustained numerous injuries including a traumatic brain injury, bone fractures, crania nerve III palsy affecting eye movement and vision and a lung contusion. She's fortunate to be alive.  Today on this special episode of the podcast, Olivia shares the details of the accident that almost killed her, the grueling recovery and rehab and how her faith in Jesus has carried her through.  ...... Katie Lentz is currently an administrator for MLB’s Baseball Assistance Team, a charitable organization that assists members of the baseball family in need of financial, medical or psychological assistance. But this story isn’t about baseball, it’s about survival. Katie should have died after being hit, head on, by a drunk driver. She suffered multiple fractures including two broken femurs, a broken tibia and fibia, a broken left wrist, nine broken ribs, a lacerated liver, ruptured spleen and bruised lung. But she didn't die. She lived and her story is incredible.
