That's not what this episode's about. So we used to celebrate something inspiring on the internet, but let's be real, the internet's not so inspiring. It usually makes me pissed off at someone's rights we're losing. So we're changing it to something we actually do in our community. So if you're an Agency member, an eLevate member, you know the drill. You are allowed to need a moment. Sometimes you can complain, but you have to immediately have a win. So it's gonna go the thing I need a moment about, then my win, so I don't just vomit on you, or it could be someone else's moment and their win, like Brad's or a friend who says any, and then it's your win. You got to have both. Lesley Logan 1:56  So, my moment right now is, okay, I am at the airport on this date, and think about this airport. I actually like this airport that I have to fly out of. But what annoys me is that this TSA is different than other TSAs. And how come, in the US, every airport, whether I have TSA PreCheck, Clear, I'm shoved in with the regular people, sorry, people who are regular people, I'm shoved into the regular security, but with a sign that I have TSA. How come it's different? How come sometimes your shoes are on, sometimes your shoes are off, sometimes there's a computer in, sometimes it's not? And then they yell at you like you should know. I'm like, oh, should I take the computer out? No. And it's like, okay, right. But the last airport I was just at yesterday wanted my computer. These are not stupid questions. I'm not an idiot. I can hear you, you know, I'm sure. And here's a, I know your job sucks. We don't pay you when our government doesn't do its fucking work, you know? So I get it, but also, especially if I'm in TSA PreCheck or Clear, I clearly am someone who flies a lot. So treat me a little bit like it's a legit question, that's all I'm saying. And also, is it too much to ask that we're either keeping the shoes on, we're keeping them off, we're putting the computers in the bags, we're taking them out? Just have a sign, then that would be really easy. A lot of the signs they have are outdated, so you're doing what the sign says, and they're like, why are you doing that? It's like, because the sign back there said so. Just pissing me off. Lesley Logan 3:04  My win, since I just got all that out, my win that I'm celebrating, though, is that last month I taught at this really amazing, massive event. I taught the most people I've ever taught in my life in one space. I had the most fun doing it. I got out of my comfort zone in a massive way, a massive way. I stayed up later than I normally ever would, and I had a good time. And I just want to say, this old dog can do new tricks, right? So I'm really celebrating the fact that I've put myself into a situation that was a little bit out of my comfort zone, a lot of it outside of my comfort zone, but in order to spread the word of Pilates, and I got to do it in a big, massive way. And now I'm like, how can I do that all the time? That was a cool stage. I want to do that all the time. So, you never know. The things that scare you are the things that you're supposed to be doing, you know? Lesley Logan 4:09  So, okay, your wins. Meanwhile, Todd Gabler — a private investigator with 34 years exclusively on the defense side — was already ahead of the people with badges.Gabler had identified the woman prosecutors say sourced the fentanyl. He'd flagged her criminal history. He was handing evidence to the Sheriff's Office that they didn't have. He searched the Richins home for days after law enforcement released the scene, documented everything with body cameras, and found material the initial search missed. When he tipped a detective about when to interview a key figure — because she was failing drug tests in court — he was restarting an investigation that had gone cold.The gap between Gabler's investigation and law enforcement's is a story about what happens when a family refuses to accept silence as an answer. If you look on the cover of Hole's album "Celebrity Skin," you'll see her right away. Melissa Auf der Maur is standing to the left of Courtney Love. The 1998 album is the first one she recorded with the band. She joined in 1994 after bassist Kristen Pfaff died, and she played with them around the world, from a music festival in Australia to Tuktoyaktuk, a village in the Arctic Circle.But after a few years, Auf der Maur left Hole. She went on to have a highly successful career in music, including as bassist for the Smashing Pumpkins. She’s collaborated with many musicians and built a career as a solo artist. She’s also a photographer – a craft she studied in her university days. And now, she’s an author. John 20:19-20 Then Jesus Stepped Into the Room How secure are you? Is your job safe, or is there a lay-off coming? How about your health? Or what if you had a serious car accident, or your home caught on fire, or what if …? These are important questions, but in reality, almost laughingly insignificant in comparison to, “What is my relationship to God?” Or to put it a different way, “When I die, where will I go—to heaven or hell?” Now these questions simply have to be answered, or there will be a nagging sense of worry, emptiness, and insecurity. The problem is, as we look into our heart and mind, we’re not helped. Have we been perfectly patient with those around us, shown perfect love to them, always been an example of Christ-like love? Or do we see in ourselves a rash of impatience, unkindness, selfishness? Ouch, more insecurity. Jesus’ disciples understood insecurity. There they were, locked in the room, with no idea what was going to happen next, with no idea where their life was going to go. And then? Then Jesus stepped into the room. And what did he do? He showed them his hands and side. There, on his nail-pierced hands, was proof that the disciples were forgiven, that Jesus had fully paid for all their sins, and that they stood at one with God. It wasn’t, “Don’t worry, be happy, the sun will come out tomorrow.” No, it was far deeper. It was, “See here—in my hands and side—the proof that I love you! The proof that your sins are forgiven and you’re on the way to heaven!” Jesus’ hands and side say the same thing to you and me: “You are forgiven. You are loved. You are on the way to heaven!” Prayer: Jesus, my risen Savior, often I’m nervous and afraid. Forgive me.
