4 weeks ago I was honoured to sit down with Mark Castle as all the news was buzzing about him stepping down from Mace Construction as their COO. Mark joined Mace in 2005 to set up Mace's fixed price construction business. With over 35 years' experience, Mark has managed UK and USA based organisations. He and Gareth Lewis have built the Mace Construction business to a £1.7bn turnover business from just £100m when Mark started. He is humble to a fault, incredibly calm and collected over what has to be one of the biggest success stories in our industry. I don't care if you get your hands dirty, wear steel capped boots or not this is a story about looking for how can we do better and a real inspiration to anyones career. The Accelerating Careers Podcast is in Partnership with Urban Land Institute. In the final episode of the year, Joe and Dawson invite special guest, Greg Lisson, to try to make some sense of the dichotomous cultural stew that is Christmas in America. Special recognition for the music in this episode goes to Mark Castle for "Sad Xmas" and to Borrtex for "Happy Holidays."
