Is this finally the Sony killer? Welcome the Panasonic S1R and S1. Panasonic announced the first 2 cameras in their full-frame mirrorless lineup, the Panasonic S1R and the Panasonic S1 which will be 47 megapixels and 24 megapixels respectively. The cameras will use the former Leica SL mount, no renamed the L mount and further lenses and bodies will be contributed by Leica and Sigma down the road. • Panasonic S1R will be a 47 megapixel body • Panasonic S1 will be a 24 megapixel body • Both will feature Dual IS • Both will feature 4k video up to 60p • Dual card slots (XQD and SD) • Lenses to start will be a 50mm f/1.4, 24-105mm and a 70-200mm Music is from Epidemic Sound.
