Alex, Brian, Joe and Ant sit down to discuss the untimely passing of one of our favorite figures in hip-hop today, Nipsey Hussle. Nipsey was gunned down on March 31, 2019 outside of a clothing store he owned in the neighborhood he grew up in. In fact, Nipsey owned numerous properties in his neighborhood, which he used to provide jobs and services for the people in his community. In addition to commercial properties, Nipsey had science and technology initiatives in place that were already bearing fruit. Nipsey was empowering his people in numerous ways As far as music goes, Nipsey was coming off of the biggest year of his rap career with his debut studio album being nominated for Best Rap Album at the Grammys. The whole industry, as well as millions of fans and admirers are mourning his passing. We’ll all miss the catchy and thoughtful hip hop music he was making, but even more so the keen business acumen, elder-level wisdom and commitment to his community that the 33 year old Nipsey Hussle had. Rest easy, King! You are gone, but will never be forgotten. You inspired so many. Although we had heavy hearts entering this episode, Brian’s invited guest, Marcia brightened the podcast with her presence. Please excuse some technical difficulties we had recording this episode. We assure you that you’ll still fully enjoy the free flowing conversation that the five of us had. In addition to Nipsey talk, we touched on accusations thrown at Joe Biden and Kristaps Porzingis, NCAA Tournament talk, and a lot of hip hop and R&B talk with some hilarious and controversial hot takes. Thanks Marcia for joining us. Look forward to having you back soon. Hope everyone enjoys the episode and thanks for listening! Follow us on instagram at @betterthanyoupod
Fantastic podcast this week. We spoke to @somwardner of My Vitriol about everything from Brexit to the rise of the Marxist left. Definitely worth checking out! Will also be on Podmatic but for now

This episode sees me rubbing shoulders with someone who wears a hat ALMOST as big as my veil! Carl Austin-Behan is our Lord Mayor of Manchester and is a lovely guy I've known for 17 years now - and he's got LOADS and LOADS of things to share, over a few glasses of wine ;-) Recorded in the Lord Mayors' Parlour, within Manchester's Town Hall - all VERY posh and grand. Find out what happened when young Carl declared his gayness whilst still in the Royal AirForce, what his first job resulted in and what his FIRST ever title was in this episode of ChinWag! If you like ChinWag, please consider signing up for Podmatic and be notified of future episodes. Your email wont' be used for anything else! Lots of love BangBang xxx
